I watch you sleeping soft and sound

The sound of your breath makes my heart pound

I cannot hope to believe what's true

That you feel for me what I feel for you

But I look upon your face and see

The love for the woman who imprisoned

Your hair and eyes so much like hers

The painful memory inside me stirs

I turn away as my eyes pool
