Chieko-san: I got the idea of this story from the war going on between my school and another school. I hope you like it!

Kagome yawned as her math teacher continued to babble on about the 'Pythagorean Theorem'.

She tapped her pencil on her math book slowly in annoyance. School had become an utter drag for

her over the past few days. Her mind was a blur since the students was given the news that their

class would be going to the Caribbeans for Spring Break. 'This will be so much fun!' Kagome

exclaimed mentally. 'Spring Break away from home and with my friends! Nothing can screw this

up for me!' and as far as she was concerned, nothing would. She and her best friend Sango had

everything planned out. The girls took great pleasure in chasing around good looking guys just for

a good time. [A/N: Me and one of my friends used to do that. But she moved. ;.;] So they assumed

the Caribbeans had a whole wack of good looking guys just waiting to be freaked out!

Kagome and Sango were usually questioned about their weird ways around guys, wondering why

they would chase away the guys instead of getting closer to them and trying to hit it off. Kagome

and Sango would just snicker and answer their question the best they could: "We don't really care

to get close to guys, they are only trouble!" and that's what they stuck to, as far as they were

concerned, worrying about their school work and pleasing their families was enough to worry

about than getting a boyfriend. So they took up the hobby of stalking then and freaking them out.

'Who needs a boyfriend anyway?' Kagome thought. 'Boys only must after a girls body, and once

they get what they want they will skip off on their merry way and never look back at her again!'

To Kagome's delight the bell rang, telling all the students that the school day was now over. 'Yes!

My day of slave labor is now over!' Kagome thought as she hurried out of her classroom. 'Now,

where is Sango?' she looked around the hallway and soon spotted her friend stood up by her

locker, hugging her books. "Sango!" Kagome waved and jogged over to her. "What's up?!"

"Hey! Nothing much. What are you doing after?" Sango asked as the two girls made their way

out of the school.

"Nothing." Kagome shrugged. "I think I might start to pack for the trip."

"Oh yeah! We are leaving tomorrow aren't we?!" Sango exclaimed.

Kagome sweat-dropped, how could Sango forget something so exciting like that?!

As if reading her friends mind through her expression, Sango laughed nervously. "Sorry. I don't

know what made me forget about that! I guess its all the work I was putting in at school."

"You actually worked?" Kagome asked. "For the past month I couldn't keep my mind on

anything! All I could think about was that trip!" she smiled.

"Yeah...but I still want to keep my grades up." Sango explained.

"Well..." Kagome put her arm over her friends shoulder. "There is no need for you to worry about

that now! Because for the next ten days we will be in paradise!"

"About that..." Sango sweat-dropped. "You know that thing we got going on...chasing guys

around...?"

"Yes." Kagome said. "What about it?"

"I wonder if we could drop that for those ten days..."

"Why?"

"Have you ever seen pictures of the guys that live down there?!"

Kagome sneered. How could Sango do this to her?! She could see it now...Sango will meet up

with this sexy lifeguard person and she will never see or hear talk of her until they are back on the

plane and on the way back home. "....um....sure....why not...?"

Sango smiled. "Great. Because I think we can snag a couple guys when we are down there."

"I'm not going to try." Kagome answered. "Guys are only trouble."

"Ah, but you say that now! Just wait until you get there and feast your eyes upon all those hot

guys..." Sango said, her eyes shimmering. "Just imagine them...clinging to your arms, wishing,

wanting you to be yours....wanting to have you to hold...and then...they start to fight over you.

Imagine the great feeling you'll have when you see that those awesomely hot guys are willing to

kill each other for you! maybe some of them will be brothers!"

Kagome sweat-dropped and looked at her friend with wide eyes. "Sango...your delusional..."

"Nope. I just know what I want." Sango winked.

Kagome brushed out her hair and set herself on the floor of her room. She started to dig through

her dresser, stripping out cloths and tossing them into her overly large suitcase. She then moved

on to her desk and started taking some other little necessities she would need over a ten day

period.

"Kagome? Are you busy?" Sota asked from outside her bedroom door.

"I'm packing." Kagome said, she sighed. "But you can come in."

Sota slowly creaked open the door to his sisters room and walked in, his hands behind his back.

"So, your leaving tomorrow, ne?"

Kagome nodded. "Yup."

"Can I ask you something?" Sota looked up at his sister shyly.

"Don't worry, I'll get you something." Kagome smiled annoyingly down at her brother.

"That's not what I wanted to know." Sota held up a small illuminated yellow flower. "Take this

with you. To make you remember to come back." he smirked. "Mom said it would be good if I

gave it to you because she don't want you to lose yourself in all those guys you will be meeting."

Kagome laughed a little and took the flower and put it in the side pouch of her suitcase. "I'll

remember that."

"Good." Sota bowed his head to Kagome and walked out of the room.

Kagome smiled and continued to pack. She didn't know it, and she didn't really want to believe it,

but she would miss her family very much, especially Sota.
