Prologue

Okamoto Rin was sitting in her huge bedroom thinking of important issues she had going on right now.She'd be seventeen soon,and would need to be married off to someone.Her parents had said they found someone for her.A Demon.She wasn't afraid of demons.With the exception of ones who try to kill her.She was sure if her parents thought he was good enough for her,then she'd marry him.
She hadn't seen or met him,but from what all her servents had said about him,he should be very attractive.What Rin didn't get was,why did it have to be staged!All of it.What if he didn't like her?And,he was a Dog Demon.The Lord of the Western Lands to be exact.She had heard of him before.She remembered family and friends telling tales of the great Demon from her childhood.
Her wedding and Mating Ritual were set to the next time the Full Moon shown high in the sky.
Ah,the great Mating Ritual.Dog Demons mate for life,so if she married him,there would be no turning back.She was supposed to meet him today,and was very nervous.Her Mother had said there was nothing to be nervous about,but she was dead wrong.Rin had every right to be nervous.A demon she'd never met before was supposed to come to her castle today and meet her for the first time!She was supposed to marry him in a month!Kamis' sake!
Rin's Mother and Sister had layed out brand new Kimono for her to pick from for today.There were three new ones.The first one was a light blue with a dark blue obi.White flowers sprinkled the front and back of the Kimono.It went to the floor and stopped right before it hit the ground.The second one,the one she had chosen for today,was made from purple Silk.It was a dark purple,with Pink Cherry Blossoms spread here and there throughout the Kimono.The Obi was a lighter purple than the rest of the Kimono.It came around her waist and stopped at her lower back to be tied into a very thin bow.This Kimono,however,did reach the ground.She had had new shoes made just for this Kimono.No one had tried this before now,but she needed something so her Kimono wouldn't drag the ground.She had a taylor make sandles with a tall bottom that was at the heel.About two inches high.The third Kimono hadn't been her favorite.It was a simple gray Kimono with a white Obi.Nothing Special.
She was dressed and ready to meet her Husband/Mate for the first time.She walked down the long corridor and turned many corners before she came to a big room.Filled with people who turned to her and bowed deeply severial times.She nodded her head and walked down the stairs.
There was a loud knock at the door.She knew instinctly who it was.She walked to the doors and opened them.There,standing in all his glory,was Lord of the Western Lands,Sesshomaru.

Okay!I know I'm working on a different story,but I'm going to focus on this one more,since I have a feeling it will get more veiws than my other.This is just the prologue.Mine are always short.Chapters will be longer.Nothing more to say then thanks for reading!
