A/N~ Ok, every time I post a chapter, I'm gonna ask a question. If you want to answer it, then write a review. If I like your answer, then I'll add you as a character in the next chapter! Ok the question is...which do you prefere? Orange or banana? Well, gotta go!

CH.2

Kagome arrived at a building and landed on the roof.

She climbed down one of the walls and entered the building through a window. Inside the room were a bunch of men who looked to be having a meeting.

"Hi."

Kagome said cheerfully, closing the window.

Her sudden appearance made the men jump at the sound of her voice.

"Damn girl, Do you have to come through that window? Ya know there are things called doors that allow people to move in and out of different rooms without scaring the hell out of someone."

The man sitting at the head of the table said as she walked up to him. He stood and they embraced each other in a friendly hug.

"Oh come on Shippo, you know it's no fun to use doors. You should be used to me coming in that way by now."

Kagome laughed as she took her usual seat at his right.

"Of course, how could I have forgotten? Is the job done?"

The man named Shippo asked resting his head on his hand.

Kagome's only responce was pulling out her blades and cleaning them with a cloth that was on the table.

"I take that as a yes. Well my friend, it seems you've already finished off those debts of your havent you?"

The man asked. He looked to be about twenty-four, three years older than Kagome,He had short orange hair and wore a pair of blue jeans and a yellow t-shirt. Unlike the other men in the room who all wore suits.

"Yep, and don't insult my ineligence by pretending like you wont miss me."

Kagome said pulling her hair back up with the newly cleaned blades.

"Ok, ok. Yes I am a little bit sad that you'll be leaving."

Shippo admitted sadly.

"You know I have my own business to take care of . Yea, I'll be leaving soon. But if ya ever need a favor, just call."

Kagome said as she popped her knuckles.

"Don't worry, I will. Now when will you be leaving?"

Shippo asked.

"Now actually, but before I do I need to talk to you in private."

Kagome said motioning to the other men around the table.

"Of course. Gentlemen, now if you'd be so kind."

Shippo said motioning towards the door.

The men said nothing as they stood and left.

"Now, what is it that's so important?"

Shippo asked once all the men were gone.

"Before I did the job, some of Naraku's men caught up with me in an alle."

Kagome explained while drying herself off with the towel Shippo had given her.

"Did you take care of them?"

Shippo asked.

"No. I would have, but I could tell there was someone else there besides us. I don't know who it was, but I could tell whoever it was was powerful. Not powerful enough to cause a threat, but powerful enough to get in my way. At first I thought it was one of Naraku's genetically inhanced freaks but then I realized it couldn't have been. So I need you to find out who it was."

Kagome concluded.

"Right, I'll get Hikaru and Hojo on it right away."

Shippo said picking up the phone that was on the table.

"No, I want Sango and Rin on this one. I don't want anyone besides us to know that Naraku is on my trail again. Besides, I hate that Hikaru bitch. And who is this Hobo guy? Don't tell me he's that nerd with the big glasses."

Kagome said before Shippo could dial the number.

"His name is Hojo, and yes he is the guy with the big glasses. Shippo clearified with a laugh.

"Well, I hate them both. I want Sango and Rin on it imediately. Now, I'll be at my house for awhile. I'll come by in about two days. Don't try to contact me unless it's really important and you have no choice."

Kagome explained as she grabbed one of her many black leather trench coats.

"I'll make sure they're on it right away."

Shippo said as he watched Kagome walk to the window.

"Thanks Shippo."

Kagome said while opening the window.

"Hey, arent ya gonna say you owe me one?"

Shippo asked.

"Nope."

He heard Kagome reply as she jumped out the window.

"Miroku! Get your ass down here!"

Inu Yasha yelled as he walked into his huge mansion.

"Ahh, so your back already. Have any luck?"

A man wearing a pair of black baggy pants and a dark purple wifebeater asked as he walked down one of the large staircases.

"Where's Sesshomaru? I've got something I need you to do."

Inu Yasha explained as Miroku made it down the stairs.

"He's on his way back from a job. Did you have any luck finding Naraku?"

The man named Miroku had short black hair that he kept in a ponytail at the base of his neck. He was about 6,4' with beautiful eyes and looked to be about 25.

"Yes and no. I stumbled apon a bunch of his men but I wasn't able to get anything out of them. So I need you and Sesshomaru to find out all you can about a woman named Kagome Higurashi."

Inu Yasha informed him as another man with long silver hair walked in the front door.

"Hey Sesshomaru, I need to see you now."

InuYasha said to the other man as he walked past them.

"Not now. I'm busy."

Sesshomaru said as he disapeared around a corner.

"Well then i guess you're going to be doing this alone."

InuYasha said as they walked into his office.

\"I'm confussed. What does this Hugurashi woman have to do with Naraku?"

Miroku asked as he sat down.

"When I found his men they were having a very interesting conversation with a woman they called Kagome Higurashi. From what i heard of the conversation Naraku made her some kind of offer and she declined. I'm guessing that Naraku wasn't too pleases with her answer and now he's trying to track her down. What I want to know is what he offered her and why he offered it to her. So I need you to find out all you can about her."

Inu Yasha said as he sat down at his desk.

"And you want me to do this alone?"

Miroku asked.

"Don't complain. It wont be too hard."

"But I don't wanna."

Miroku whined like a child.

"Shut up Houshi. Just get started. I want the information in two days."

InuYasha said, calling Miroku by his last name.

"What exactly do you want me to find out? Where she lives? If she has family? If she's available?"

Miroku asked, adding in the available part as he put his feet up on Inu Yasha's desk.

"Everything. There's got to be a reason why Naraku wants her so badly."

InuYasha explained pushing Miroku's feet off of his desk, not even noticing what Miroku had said.

"Whatever."

Miroku said simply.

"Just get out of here and get started."

Inu Yasha said exasperatedly as Miroku left.

Kagome crept through the city soundless as the rain poured out of the sky in dropes of glistening beauty.

She breathed in the air that was heavy with condensation and sighed.

She loved it when it rained. Somehow it always seemed to ease the tension from her body and clear her mind. She felt her worries drift away as she came tot he edge of town.

She ran through the forest with inhuman speed as she came upon a mansion surrounded by a thick layer of trees and rocks.

Kagome sighed again as she looked upon the place she called home.

She walked into her home and headed up the huge staircase that led to her offices.

Kagome passed many doors before coming to the one she was looking for.

Even though it had been awhile since she had been in the house, it was in excellent shape.

Kagome walked up to the desk by the window and picked up the phine.

Satesfied at hearing a dial tone, she quickly dialed in the number she wanted patiently for the person to pick up.

"Hello?"

The person on the other end asked.

"Hey it's me, I need a favor."

Kagome explained.

"Of course. What is it?"

The person asked.

Kagome explained about the whole deal with Naraku's men as she sat down.

"So I need you to see what you can find out about who it was. I've got Rin and Sango on it too."

Kagome explained as she proped her feet up on her desk.

"No probleme. I'll get right on it."

The person accepted.

"Thanks Jinenji. I owe ya one."

Kagome said greatfully.

"Don't worrry about it babe. Sounds like you really need the help this time."

Jinenji said as they hung up.

"Do I really sound that desperate? Oh well, Now that I've got that straightened out, I think it's time to get this place back into working order."

Kagome said to herself as she dialed another number.

"Hey, I'm back. Get your people together and then get your asses over here."

Kagome said, hanging up before the other person could answer.
