Chapter two

Kagome walked into her dark apartment and threw her shoes by the door. She took two steps into the room before feeling a hand wrap around her wrist. She was jerked around and thrown onto the couch. She tried to get up but was pushed back down and slapped across her face. She let out a slight squeak and looked up at the person on top of her. His face was hidden in the darkness, so all she could see was the outline. “Stop staring bitch.” The man said as he hit her across the face again, causing her to spit up some blood. The man unzipped his pants and worked at her skirt, shredding it as well as her underwear. She felt her fear build up as the man took both of her writs in one hand and held it above her head. she could feel the tears streaming down her face as the man began to shove himself into her. She screamed and shot open her eyes only to see two golden ones looking right down at her with worry scetched across them.

“Are you ok, kagome?” he asked, still holding his ears pressed against his head from her screaming. She only sat up and leaned against his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around her body and pulled her closer to him.

“I was… I was…” she trailed off into a chain of sobs. It felt to real to her, she didn't know what else to do right at that moment.

Inuyasha ran his claws threw her hair, stroking the back of her head. “Its ok, it was just a dream. Nothing happened.” He tried to comfort her, which worked a little. She wasn't balling her eyes out, she was only letting silent tears fall from her cheeks.

“It… it felt so real. I was scared, Inuyasha. All I could do was cry and scream… but I had no where to run, I was already at my own home. Where else could I go? God, I was so scared.” She clung her arms around his waist, not knowing what else to do. She just held him like he was he only lifeline.

“Tell you what, how about tomorrow we go to you apartment and get you stuff. You can stay here so that you are safe. Does that sound good to you Kags?” he asked, massaging circles on her back.

Kagome looked up with puffy red eyes. “You would do that?” she asked with a bunch of different emotion in her voice.

Inuyasha only chuckled. “You're damn right I will. There's no way in hell that I would let you go home alone in your condition. You can stay with me, where I can always protect you.” He said in a very serious manner.

She smiled and kissed his cheek. “Thanx, I think.” She said sarcastically. “Um… where's the bathroom, I think I need to take a bath or something to refresh myself from tonight.” She smiled slightly.

Inuyasha looked at his clock on the nightstand. “Its 3:00 in the morning, cant you wait until later?” he half wined, while yawning.

“I really am not tired anymore, and I would like to take a bath. So can you please just tell me where the damn bathroom is?” she said, getting impatient. The real reason she wanted to take a shower was because she didn't want to sleep; she knew that dream or another dream would just wake her up. That's how it's been for years now, she never slept, and only did when she took something to make her sleep or was knocked out.

Inuyasha yawned again before getting up and walking towards the door. “You comin?” he asked. She blinked away her thoughts and quickly ran over to him. “its actually just down the hall, three doors down.” He pointed down the pitch black hall.

She fallowed his finger and looked where it was pointing. She couldn't see a damned thing, it was dark, and her eyes still hadn't adjusted yet. “Umm…”

Inuyasha looked at her and sighed, taking her hand and walking her down the hall. “Here, the towels are in the black cabinet. If you need anything else, just call me, I'll hear ya.” He yawned again and watched as she gave a small smile, then walking in.

“Thanx, Yash.” She said with a smile before shutting the door behind her. She walked over to the bath and turned on the hot water to fill up the tub. After it was full enough she slipped off Inuyasha's shirt, and her braw and underwear. She hopped into the tub and slid down, enjoying the feel of the warm water.

As soon as Inuyasha heard the water turn on he walked back to the room. He plopped down on his bed and looked straight up at the ceiling. There was something about this girl. If it were any other girl, he would have probably did em and send them on their way. But Kagome, she was a different story. He didn't even know why such an innocent girl like her would have to go through what had happened last night. It pissed him off that some one would force fuck someone else, even he hasn't sunk that low before. Which reminded him that he needed to ask Kagome if she knew who that was, he had a very familiar scent on him. `after we go get her stuff tomorrow, I'll talk to her.' He thought as he closed his eyes and fell into a light sleep.

Kagome got out of the shower and grabbed a big black fluffy towel and wrapped it around her body. That's when it hit her, she had no other cloths with her, and there was no way in hell she was going to wear the same underwear. She grabbed his shirt and opened the door, sliding down the hall to where she remembered inu's room was. She opened the door to find him sleeping, and also snoring quite loud. She quietly shut the door behind her and walked up to his side of the bed, kneeling next to him. “Inu yasha?” she whispered to him. He popped one eyes open and jerked back.

“Geeze Kagome, are you trying to give me a heart attack?”

“Sorry. Um but I have a little bit of a problem.” She said as she poked her index fingers together.

he waited for her to answer, “Well, what is it?”

“Well um you see. You know how I don't have my stuff, so I have nothing to change into? Well… um.” She felt her face blush deep red `god this is embarrassing.' “well… idonthaveanycleanunderwearsoihavenothingtochangeinto.” She blurted out, turning even redder than before.

Inuyasha let out a small laugh. “well, um… lets see. If you want you can wear a pair of my boxers for now. There's nothing else I could do to help you out with that problem.”

`well I guess theres nothing else for me to do' she thought, nodding her head. Inuyasha got up and walked over to his dresser, pulling out a pair of boxers that were black with flames on the bottom. He turned around and threw them to her. That's when he noticed she was only wearing only a black towel. He watched as she slipped on the boxers and turned around, dropping the towel to put the shirt on, revealing her pale back to him. There were a couple of scars, but since her skin was already so pale, they didn't show so much. he shoulder blades rotated as she pulled the shirt outside right. That's when he lost it. He ran up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. She jumped at his warm touch and looked back to see two lustful eyes staring straight back at her. He pressed his chest against her back and bent his head down to kiss her shoulder. His lips brushed against her shoulder, sending shivers through her body. He made his way up her neck, to her ear and began nibbling on her cartilage.

“Kagome, do you know how beautiful you are?” he asked quietly into her ear. She closed her eyes as his tongue swept along her neck. He spun her around so that her chest was now against his. He looked down into her chocolate brown eyes as they looked into his gold ones. He ran a claw along her face, dragging a loose hair from her face, before pressing his lips on hers. Melting into the kiss she unconsciously wrapped her arms around his neck. His tongue licked her bottom lip, gaining entry to her mouth. She let his tongue venture into her mouth for the second time. She also felt her own legs lift themselves up and wrap around his waist. He held her securely with his arms and walked her over to his bed, laying her down and kneeling over her but never breaking the kiss. He finally pulled away for a breath and kissed her jaw line. He made his way to her neck and sucked on her pulse as his hands roamed her body. They found her breast and began to knead them, sliding the hardening ball between his fingers. She let out a small moan as she arched against him. He smirked and kissed along her collarbone and down her breast, replacing one of his hands with his mouth. He rolled his tongue across her sensitive redness, playing with the tip. Kagome bit her lip and ran her fingers through his silver locks. He made his way back up to her lips, sucking on her bottom lip between his teeth. She ran her hands down his chest and abs, finding his pants. Lucky for her he was only wearing boxers himself. She slipped a hand into his pants and wrapped it around his hardened length. Her other hand soon joined and began jerking up and down. Inuyasha let out a quiet moan into her mouth and met her rhythm. His whole body was screaming with pleasure as she continued. He kissed her cheek and moved to her ear. “I want you, kagome.” He said seductively into her ear. She responded by removing her hands from his member and to the hem of his boxers, ripping them off of him. Before she could do anything else, Inuyasha already had hers off and thrown to the side. He placed himself above her and paused, looking into her eyes. “Kagome… are you sure you are ready?” he asked, only to make sure. She nodded and he immediately thrust into her. He pulled a blanket over them both and kissed the top of her head. “See kags… you don't need to worry about not having underwear now.” He stated sarcastically, but before he even said anything she was already asleep. He smirked `looks like she's tired now.' He thought laughing in his mind. He pulled her closer to him, leaning his chin against her head and falling asleep as well.

Ring Ring Ring Inuyasha cracked open an eye and looked over at his nightstand. He snatched up the phone before it rang again, hoping that Kagome wasn't already awake. “Who the hell is this?” he demanded groggily.

(On the phone)-oh, Inuyasha, I am hurt that you demand such rudely to your own buddy, Miroku? -

“Shut your crap, waddya want.” He peaked over his shoulder at Kagome, who was snoring quietly into a pillow with one hand to her side and the other around inu's waist. `Your lucky she's still asleep, monk.' He thought to himself.

-Well you seem to have forgotten our meeting today. You know the one where you, Kouga, and me were supposed to talk over where to move our position? Have you forgotten yet again? -

“Oh, he he, that meeting. Shit, what time are we supposed to meet?” he asked slowly getting up, careful not to wake up Kagome.

-It was an hour ago. -

“Shit, where you at then?” he asked while looking at his alarm clock. Big red letters read 1:38 pm.

-I'm in my car, waiting for you to get your ass here. -

“Is Kouga there with you?”

-No he said to tell you to buy a fuckin' alarm clock and to call him if you ever show up. -

“Well I got something to take care of first, go take a drive or something I don't really care. I'll call you when I am done and set a new time.” Inuyasha said as he stood up slowly and stretched.

-Got ya… um, Yash? May I ask what this other think you need to take care of? -

“Hey Miroku…mind your own fuckin business.” And with that he hung up and walked into the bathroom. When he came back out, Kagome was sitting up and stretching. She rubbed her eye with a balled fist and smiled when she seen Inuyasha. He smirked and walked to the side of the bed.

“Morning.” She said wrapping her arms around herself. It was actually quite cold in the room.

Inuyasha slipped on a pair of boxers. “Come on, lets get your cloths. I need to meet someone later after we go get your stuff.” He said as threw her a shirt. She slipped it on and gave him a confused look.

“Do you think I have time to take a quick shower?” she said as she ran up beside him.

“Quick. I was supposed to meet this person an hour ago. I'll go get your cloths, just go take your shower.” He said as he kissed her on lips and opened the door. “Now go.”

She gave him a smile and ran from the room and down the hall into the bathroom. He heard the water turn on and walked down stairs to the laundry room. He pulled her black spaghetti tanktop, black skirt and under wear from the dryer and walked from the room.

“Hey baka.” A voice spoke from behind the paper. Inuyasha poked his head through the archway to the kitchen.

“Oh hey bastard.” He continued his way to the stairs to the next floor up.

“Get you ass back over here, baka.” Inuyasha froze and growled before returning to the kitchen.

“Yes bastard?” he asked with a sarcastic voice.

“Whose are those?” the voice asked from behind the paper.

Inuyasha looked down at the cloths and smirked. “These would belong to the girl who is taking a shower up stairs… and oh I forgot to tell you, she's moving in.” Inuyasha smirked as the paper dropped to the table, revealing a very angry inu yokai. He had silver hair, much like Inuyasha's that was pulled back into a braid but he had no dog-ears, instead he had two pointy ears at the sides of his head. He also had a cresent marking on his forehead, two stripes coming from each side of his face, and his eyes were lined with red.

“Wait, run that by me again.” The demon said flatly, but with an emotionless face.

“She's moving in.” Inuyasha said with a cocky smile on his face. “What ,Sesshomaru, do you have a problem with that?”

Sesshomaru stood up and dumped out his cold coffee. “Tell me you have a good reason for this and didn't just allow some whore off the side of the street move in.”

“She isn't a damn whore. I found her last night in a very bad situation, so I took care of it. now she is afraid to go home so we are leaving to go get her stuff when she's ready.” He said before turning around and walking out of the room.

“Hey Baka, I believe this is the first good decision you have made your entire life.” Sesshomaru said before leaving in the opposite direction.

“Go fuck off.” Inuyasha mumbled as he walked up the stairs. He walked to the bathroom door and knocked on it. “You done yet?”

“Yeah.” She opened the door and smiled. “Clothes?”

“Here, now hurry up.” He handed her the clothes and went to go get dressed himself.

“Wait,” she grabbed his arm. “Um, who were you talking to? I heard you say something like `fuck off' or something.” She said as he turned around to listen to her.

“That would be my bastard brother. Now hurry and get dressed, wench, or I will take you like that.” he said as he pushed her into the bathroom and walked to his own room before she could protest. He heard her scream through the wall.

“Don't call me that, I'm not a wench, jack ass!” she yelled through the wall. Her towel dropped and she pulled on her underwear and cloths. She had lost her shoes last night, so she pulled her hair back into a messy bun with a convenient rubber band around her wrist. She looked into the mirror to make sure she looked fine. She scowled as she ran a finger across her slightly swollen and bruised cheek.

“Are you done?” she jumped as Inuyasha pounded on the door. She opened the door and gave him a glare. He was wearing almost the same exact thing as he did yesterday, except he was wearing a black shirt.

“Yes, I am fucking done. You have no patience now do you?” she said mockingly.

“Do ya wanna get your stuff or not, wench? Come on.” He said pulling her arm.

“Ouch, let go.” She said trying to tug her arm from his grasp. “You know I have bruises there. Can you be a bit nicer about it? And don't forget, I don't even have any shoes to wear… AND STOP CALLING ME THAT!” she was begging to get annoyed by him, and her wrist was really begging yo hurt.

Inuyasha looked back over his shoulder at the red Kagome, noticing she was also wincing her eyes he loosened his grip around her wrists. They walked down the steps and towards the front door. Kagome ran up beside him, so her arm was now at her side. the house was huge, mostly because of all the extra space. Her head swung around in different directions, taking in the whole scene. Inuyasha stopped, causing her shoulder to bump into his back. She blinked and looked at him. He was pulling her wrists up to look at them. He saw the slightly colored skin it was a normal feature to her, her wrists and ankles always were slightly colord and bruised. It was like long lasting jewelry to her. He looked up from her wrists and frowned. “Come on.” He said as he brushed past her. He could see in her eyes that she acted like they were nothing, and he would ask about that later, but right now they needed to get her stuff so he could get to his `meeting.

They walked out the front and over to his garage. Opening the side door, they both walked in. he shut the door and flicked on the lights. There were about five cars, three trucks, and about ten street bikes. “We take the Jag.” He said walking to the green jaguar. She fallowed almost directly behind him. This place gave her the creeps, even if she knew she was safe, it still scared her. They came to the car and the split to either side of the car, opening the door and getting in. he reached under the seat and pulled out the keys, putting them into the emission and starting the car. The radio blared out Slipnot, causing Kagome to jump a mile high as it turned on. Inuyasha laughed and pressed the automatic garage door opener before leaving the property. He turned down the music just enough so she could hear him speak.

“So where do you live now?” he almost screamed over the music.

“at the Yamato Empress Apartment building.” She replied, laying her hands in her lap and massaging her wrists. Inuyasha sped down the road leading to her apartments. That wasn't the best neighbor hood for a girl like her to be living in. `no wonder she goes through what she goes through.' He thought as he looked over at her sitting quietly and looking out the window. He swerved down another street before turning down the radio.

She never let her gaze leave the window, knowing he would probably ask questions about why she lives where she lives. That was something she really didn't want to talk about. No one ever really asked her about it though, and if any one did she would change the subject. Even her best friends had no idea what was going on after she got home. She frowned as she remembered her friends. She hadn't talked to them in a while. `I guess I can call them when I get to my apartment.' She thought as she looked forward, seeing the building coming closer. The place was surrounded by whores and druggies. Most of them knew her, and tried to talk her into either working with them or for them. But she always kept her distance from them. She did remember one time when she refused, the man took her under force instead. That was when it all started, when she first met him.

>>Flash back>> Kagome was coming back from her night at the club that her and her friends went to. The always dropped her off at the corner two miles away from her home. She was too embarrassed to show them where she lived. She walked her way down the side walk on her street, passing by and alley. As she let out a yawn she felt a hand snake its way around her waist, pulling her into the alley way. She eeped and struggled against the grasp. She looked up to see two lustful reddish eyes starring down at her.

“Hello there, princess. You look mighty fine this evening.” He said as he bent his head down to the crook of her neck, sucking and nibbling on her skin.

“Get the fuck off me freak! Who the hell do you think you are?” she screeched, struggling to get away.

“Oh, I almost forgot to introduce my self, I am Naraku Onegumo. But you can just call me master from now on, princess.” He said before returning to lick along her shoulder, and bringing his hands up to the brim of her shirt. He slid one hand under her shirt and made his way up to her breast, kneading them.

Her eyes widened in shock. `I can't believe he's doing this.' She thought as she made a face before kneeing him in the most sensitive spot. He doubled back, letting her out of his grasp. “Don't touch me you sick pervert!” she said as she made a move to run. Naraku reached his arm out and grabbed her ankle, causing her to plummit to the ground. He pulled her under him and flipped her over so she was facing him.

“You need to learn some manners, princess. Its not lady like to disobey master.” He growled, slapping her across her face. Her head swung to the side, only to be forced to face him by another hand. “Now do as I say, my little whore, or I will make it hurt more.” He ripped of her skirt and under wear, at the same time pulling her hands up above her head.

`oh kami, please let this just be a dream, this cant be happening.' She felt tears begin to drain from her eyes as she held her legs together as hard as she could. He growled and forced them apart by bringing his own legs between them. She opened her mouth and screamed, only to be silencd by him roughly pressing his lips against hers, forcing his tongue down her throat. She screamed into his mouth as he unzipped his pants where his already hardened member was hidden. He used his free hand to push one of her les up and held it in place beside his waist. He bit down on her bottom lip as he jerked into her. She screamed and cried as much as she possibly could. She was helpless and could do nothing but sit their as he fucked her like a ragdoll.

she felt a tear roll down her cheek, but quickly wiped it away. Her whole life she had wanted to save her innocence for her love to take, but instead she was forcefully torn from her virginity. She looked over at Inuyasha, who was focused on the road and had a death grip on the steering wheel. She looked forward again to see what he was looking at. She blanched when her eyes met the scene. There was two vans, one white one black, and a small blue Shelby parked in front of the apartments. `that's Rin's car… how did she find out where I live? Oh gad and those are his vans.' “Rin…” she gasped out loud.

Inuyasha looked over at the wide eyed girl. He could sense her tears earlier, but was distracted from the scene ahead. He knew whose vans those were, and whose territory she lived in, but he had no idea whose sports car that was. He heard Kagome whisper someone's name. “Kagome, is there something you forgot to mention?” he asked, pulling off into an alleyway… the alleyway. He turned off the car and faced towards her, she was still staring off into space, glazed off into fear. “Kagome… Explain to me why Naraku's guys are here. And who is this `Rin'?” he demanded.

She slowly turned her head, blinking her eyes ever so slowly. “He… He's here to… Rin!” she shouted as she heard a scream. Inuyasha must have heard it too because his ears were twitching. She jumped out of the car, soon joined by Inuyasha. They both ran to the end of the ally, where he stopped and she ran into His back. “Stay here, go wait in the car. I will bring back your friend…” he started to bend his knees to jump up, but she gabbed his arm.

“No… I cant stay here…by myself. I need to go with you…” she felt her fear rise inside her as she heard another scream.

Inuyasha just stared at her, seeing her fear of being taken in while she is alone. “Fine, but you better stay by my side at all times. Get on my back.” He said as she climbed on his back and wrapped her arms around his neck. “Now hold on.” He said as he immediately jumped onto the roof, then to the next one, and the next until he was on the roof of her building. She let go and ran to the door, but being grabbed and pulled behind Inuyasha. “Stay behind me.” he demanded as he opened the door. He jumped out of the way, pulling Kagome with him as bullets raced through the air. He sniffed at the air, but only smelled Kagome and some other female scent. “Dammit, why cant I smell them.” He growled as more bullets raced through the air.

“They mask their scent.” Inuyasha looked at Kagome with the though `duh' running through his mind. A thought just popped into her mind, `wait, if they came for me, then they wont attack me. if I can only get passed inu, then I can slip in and find Rin.' Biting her bottom lip she jumped towards the door while Inuyasha wasn't looking and slammed it shut behind her before he could grab her. `Sorry yash. You'll get killed if I ring you into this.' She watched as the two guys ran towards her to grab her. She clenched her fists as she locked the door behind her and ran down the stairs, turning the hall before they could reach her. Opening another door, she ran in and locked it behind her from the inside. She turned around and blanched.

Inuyasha slammed on the door, `damn that wench, she sure knows how to get herself killed.' Giving up on the door, he ran to the back of the building and found what he was looking for. He jumped down to an open window, `okay…now where do I go?' he sniffed around, getting a big wiff of the smell of blood. He looked around the room to find a young woman, probably in her early twenties, lying lifeless on her bed with blood surrounding her. He grimaced at the sight and headed for the door. He opened the door and three guys were already waiting outside to take him out. He smirked as they all tried to come at him at once. He dodged them all and grabbed two of the guys by their hair and slammed them into each other. It made a cracking sound and they fell to the ground with a thud. The last guy looked down at them and Inuyasha took that moment to slash him in the back. The guy went plummeting forwards, hitting a wall and then the ground. Inuyasha sniffed the air again, and found her scent, but in two different places. He let out an impatient breath and sniffed again, deciding to venture to the closer of the two. He ran swiftly down the hallways, making sure to avoid anyone. The whole building reeked of blood, and it was beginning to cloud his sensitive nose. He ran to the door where he smelt her and swung it open, only to find a room with about ten different guys in it, rummaging through drawers and such. He figured it was Kagome's room, so he jumped in and began fighting off Naraku's goonies.

“Koutaru, put her down, she has nothing to do with this!” she screamed and lunged towards the man holding Rin up by the neck. He looked over and smirked, dropping the girl and reaching for Kagome.

“Oh, it looks like you've come back. This is going to be easier than I thought it would.” He said as she came crashing down at him. He caught her bicep and threw her to the ground.

“Stay down bitch, or I will have to hurt you even more.” He said walking over to her and kicking her in the ribs. He kneeled down to her and grabbed a chunk of her hair. “Now I will do you, what your little hero did to Me.” he said crushing her head into the ground. She let out a gurgle like scream, coughing up blood. She opened her eyes enough to make sure Rin was okay, and she was, for the most part. She was kind of rolled up into a ball and holding her neck. She felt her head connect with the floor again, then being pulled up off the ground and shoved against the wall.

“Rin, Run and hide!” she roughly yelled out. The man clenched his hand around her neck and began squeezing tightly. Kagome threw her hands up to his arm and tried to pull them away. Finding that was useless, she dug her nails into his skin. His grip only tightened. She looked over his shoulder to see Rin running towards the two.

“Get off of my friend you jerk!” she yelled as she jumped on his back, causing him to drop Kagome to the ground. Rin hung on tighter as he swung her around, trying to get her off. Kagome coughed up, feeling the air return to her lungs and looked up to see Rin fly into the closet. The force caused all of the boxes and luggage in it to cave in on her.

“Rin!” she screamed as she tried to get up, but had not enough strength to, and instead fell back on her ass. Koutaru watched her struggle to get up and laughed.

“Looks like your stuck, oh well. Lets finish the job. Naraku said he wanted you back, but her never stated dead or alive. Now be a good little bitch and stay still ass I break that cute little neck of yours in half.” He stalked up to Kagome. She crawled over to a near corner, bumping into it with her back. “you just aren't having a very good time today are you bitch?” he said as he bent down in front of her and slapped her hard across the face. She spit up blood and began to cry. He only pulled her up by her hair and threw her against the wall. She let out a loud yelp and fell to the ground, only to be pulled up again by her throat. “This time I will crush those bones on her neck” he began to tighten his grip on her, causing her to gasp for air. She began kicking her legs and clawing at his arms, but he continued. The door slammed open and Koutaru turned around to see a fuming Inuyasha standing there. Kagome's eyes widened when she looked over his shoulder to see Yasha standing there.

“Put her down, asshole.” Inuyasha warned, leaping towards him. Koutaru smirk and pulled out his gun with beyond human speed and pulled Kagome in front of him, moving positions so that his pistol was against her temple.

Kagome took that moment to take a very desperately needed breath. She froze in her place and felt her tears begin to stream down her face even more when she felt the metal against the side of her temple. Inuyasha froze in his place, growling at the stupidity of this ningen. He pulled out a pistol of his own and faced it towards him. “Put Kagome down, NOW.” He growled, bearing his teeth, his eyes were turning to a dark shade of red.

“Put you fucking gun down or I will blow her brains out!” Koutaru shot out. “Why are you, leader of the Black Dragons, trying to get your hands on one of Naraku's bitches anyways. Are you not interested in any of your own whores, I mean I'm sure that bitch, Sango would love to hop on your lap. Just turn around, you little mutt, and mind your own god damned business.” he said pressing the gun harder against her head.

Kagome's eyes widened as she took in all of this information. `Wait, he's the…' Inuyasha growled and sapped back. “Koutaru, If you don't shut the fuck up and put her the fuck down, I swear I will blow a fuckng whole through that big head of yours.” Inuyasha clicked off the safety. “NOW!”

“Shoot, I dare you. But what if oops, I accidentally, you know.. pull the trigger. Then poor little Kagome here has to get the pain… well actually hah, she wouldn't. she would be shot in the head… die instantly. Now we wouldn't want that, would we, my dear.” He tightened his arm around her neck, causing her to cough up more blood.

“Fuck you Koutaru, you know Naraku wants me alive. So even if you lived through this, he would kill you.” She bit down on his arm, hard enough to make him bleed. He dropped her, trying to aid his bloody arm. She struggled and crawled over to Inuyasha. Her picked her up and held her to the side, keeping the gun fixed on Koutaru.

“You bitch, Kagome you need to learn manners to your own pack. Now be a good bitch and come to where you belong.” Koutaru growled, holding the gun aimed at Inuyasha.

“Go fuck off Koutaru. I was never part of your stupid gang and never will be.” She yelled, gripping Inuyasha's shirt for support. “Tell Naraku I'm done and no longer will do anything for him…” she coughed up more blood, loosing all feeling in her legs. Inuyasha wrapped his arm tighter around her, holding her vertical. He growled and put his finger on the trigger.

“I told you what would happen if you ever came near her again! I guess you don't listen. Leave now and tell Naraku Kagome will no longer be… seeing… him any longer now that she is under the care of the Dragons. Next time I see you even think about thinking about Kagome, I will hunt you down and do a sex change surgery on you! Deliver the message, or I will Kill you right now.” Inuyasha warned, his demon blood screaming to just shoot him there. But he knew Naraku and knew Koutaru would pay consequences either way. To his surprise, like the little chicken shit he is, Koutaru jumped out the window and ran to the black van, driving off down the street. He smirked before looking down at Kagome, who was struggling to stay awake. “Kagome, babe, look at me, keep your eyes open.” He sat down, dropping his gun beside him and pulling her onto his lap. Kagome took labored breaths and smiled back up at him. “I'll be fine, I'm just a little tired…” she blinked her eyes, trying to keep the blackness away. Shaking her head she opened her eyes again, noticing the blackness was a little less. `Wait' “Rin! Go get Rin, she's in the closet.' She said pointing towards the closet. Inuyasha looked at the box filled closet and stood, taking Kagome with him. She hung on to his waist, while he held her hanging a couple of inches off the ground. He reached the closet and threw off a couple of boxes. Finding a small arm, he grabbed it and pulled out the young girl. He threw her over his shoulder and looked over at Kagome.

“Kags, can you stand? We still need to get you some clothes.” She shook her head and he sighed. “Okay, hold on,” he threw her over his shoulder and walked out of the room, going to her room, and setting her on the bed. “I'll be right back.” He was gone for a second, but was back in the same time he left, sticking a gun in his belt. She looked up at him and then down to Rin. `danget, I did it again… I let two people be swallowed up into my mess.' She bent over Rin and shook her awake.

Rin jumped up and let out a small `eep' before giving Kagome a huge hug. “Kagome, why didn't you tell me you lived in this hell hole, you could have moved in with me!” she screamed as Kagome winced in pain.

“Um, Rin… can you loosen you bear hug?” Kagome managed to say.

“Oh yeah, sorry.” She looked up at Inuyasha, who was standing there with his arms crossed. “Who the hell are you?” She blurted out, giving him a death glare.

“Oh, Rin! That's Inuyasha. He's letting me move in with him. Which reminds me… I cant really…stand. So can you help Yash Pack up my things?” Kagome asked giving Rin a puppy dog like face.

“Wait, wait, wait, no. did I just here that you are moving in with Him… Who IS He? I know his name is… Wait Inuyasha… that means… wait… what?” Rin glanced up at the Hanyou before returning a confused look at Kagome.

“I'll tell ya later, can you just fill up those two bags in my closet with as much as you can… I don't think its safe to…” Kagome coughed of some blood, mixed in with snot and saliva. Inuyasha was by her side in a minute.

He turned and looked at Rin, “Can you fill them up while I take her to my car? I'll bring it around front to pick them up. You can come if you want… I suggest that you do, my house has its own hospital wing.” He picked up Kagome bridal style and walked towards the door. “Hurry!” he growled as he ran from the room. Rin jumped up and immediately packing Kagome's things.

Inuyasha ran to his car and opened the passenger side door, setting Kagome down carefully. She was closing her eyes to fall asleep, feeling the after shock of the whole thing. “Kagome, come on, stay awake!” he said as he backed from the alleyway and pulled up in front of the building where Rin was dragging to stuffed suitcases. Inuyasha jumped out of the car and opened the back door, then ran up to her and grabbed the bags. Throwing them in the back seat and glanced back at Rin. “Can you drive?” she nodded, pointing towards her car. “Ok fallow me home. Then we'll get you checked out in our hospital.” She nodded and ran to her car, as did Inuyasha. They both speed out to the road.

Inuyasha looked over at Kagome, who was sleeping with her head bent forward. He pulled her head back and slipped on her seatbelt, all the while keeping an eye on the road. Kaing sure she was okay, he turned off onto his road. He checked his rearview mirror to see if Rin was still fallowing, which she was. A couple of minutes later, they reached his house. He pulled in front of his house and jumped out of his car, and over to the other side for Kagome. Rin pulled up behind him and jumped out of her car as well.

“Come on, get her bags and through em' in the living room on our way in.” he said as he carried Kagome in his arms up the steps. Rin grabbed the bags and ran into the house, throwing them on the couchand fallowing right behind Inuyasha.

They walked out the back door and into another building. “Youkaratou, get you ass over here!” Inuyasha Yelled as a blonde neko demon rushed out. She was wearing a tight black skirt with a blue tank top.

“What happened to her?” she asked as she pulled out a key from her pocket, unlocking one of the hospital rooms. “Put her there.” She added and Inuyasha did as he was told. The doctor looked over at Rin, who was just standing there watching. “And who is she?”

“I'm Rin. He told me to fallow him home.” She stated kinda bubbly for the situation.

“Kagome…” Inuyasha Added. “Got the shit beat out of her by one of Naraku's men. She started coughing up blood and…” Ring Ring Inuyasha pulled out his cell. “Hold on…” He looked back at the doc. “Take care of these two while I take this call.” With that he rushed from the room and shut the door behind him. “Whaddya want Houshi?”

“Ok… um well, can you describe any more on what her symptoms were Rin?” Youkaratou asked, while listening to the girls breathing.

“Well… um all I know is that she was coughing a lot and couldn't stand, that might be because of what that stupid jerk did to her.” She grimaced at the thought of that.

“And what did you do to her… he didn't…did he?”

“ NO, no, no, no, no. he didn't do any sexual crap. He kicked her really hard in the side, bashed her head into the ground and the wall, threw her across the room…twice, and also tried to choke her…twice.” She listed off, counting with her fingers. Right then three more nurses walked in, one pushing Rin from the room. She stumbled from the room and looked at the door. She shrugged her shoulders and turned around, bumping right into someone. “Oh… um …so…r..ry” she glanced up at the gorgeous demon standing in front of her. `no he's not gorgeous, he's god damned sexy!' she thought. Snapping out of her daze, she smiled, “Hi, I guess I'll just be going now.”

“Have you been checked yet?” he asked in a low and emotionless tone.

“Um… no… but I can always go to the hospital and anyways, I feel okay.” She said with a smile

“Fallow me, I will check you myself since all of the actual doctors are taking care of baka's wench.” He said taking her to a different room.

“Are you a doctor? What's your name? Hey, and don't call Kagome a wench… she's got a name.” She said sternly, fallowing quickly behind him.

“no I am not a doctor, but I know enough to be one, my name is Sesshomaru, and I will call her what I want.” He opened the door to another room and flicked on the lights. She walked in and sat on the bed. “Now take off your shirt.”

She opened her mouth and snapped back, “you pervert… I am not going to strip in front of you… geeze at least have the decency to ask.”

“So I can check you, I am not my baka brother. Just take off your shirt.” He walked over to her and gave her a knowing look.

“Oh… that.” she blushed and pulled her shirt over her head. Sesshomaru placed his hand over her stomach. She jumped and got goose bumps.

“Lean onto my hand.” He said flatly, and of course she did as told. He bent her forwards and placed his other hand on her back. There were many bruises on her back, one big one in the middle and a smaller one on her shoulder blade. “Your bruised a bit on you back, otherwise you look fine to me..” he pulled away as she pulled her shirt back on.

“Um…thanx, what about my neck?” she said pulling her hair from her neck to reveal a feint red hand mark etched across it. he bent down to look at her neck and scowled. She seen him frown nd pulled back, “What, is it that bad?”

“well, its not that bad, but those are not normal hand marks. If it were a human mark, it should have bruised and turned purple by now. That…” he pointed to her neck. “is a demon hand, he must be able to send poison through his skin into yours. Luckily though, you barely got any in your system.” He paused and thought for a moment.

She looked as if she'd seen a ghost. Her skin was blanched and her eyes wide with fear. “You mean…that he… poisoned me?” she gulped as he nodded slightly, keeping a mask of no emotion.

“yes, and I would prefer you stay here overnight in case it takes later effects on you.” He helped her off the bed and walked from the room.

“Wait… what? You want me to stay here…?” she fallowed him down the hall, confused on how to react to this.

“Yes. We have plenty of rooms here, and you can barrow some of baka's mate's clothes. After I have checked you out in the morning, you can do as you please.” He stopped in front of the door to leave the hospital wing. “If you need anything, just find me.” he said before leaving the building.

Rin stood there, dumbfounded. `god he's sexy.' She though before turning around and sitting in the waiting chairs. `his touch is so warm… and… Kami, he's Sexy!' she let a smile grace her face as she lolled back her head, closing her eyes. Sleep overtook her in milliseconds, and soon enough she was in dreamland.

*~~*~~*~~*later that night

Inuyasha sat down in the chair to the side of Kagome's bed. She was asleep after a very long Surgery. It turns out she was bleeding internally, but they got to the problem almost just in time. She also had a large amount of poison injected in her body. `I shoulda killed him. He signed his death wish the day he stepped foot near her…' he closed his eyes and let out a small yawn. Today went by very slow. Miroku had called earlier and informed him that there was now a party going to go on tonight, so he had to get that all dealt with. So now, in about an hour there was going to be a party. He laid his head down on the bed, hoping it would soak away the weariness from today. Now that Kagome is here, he also has a handful of problems to deal with, including the one that she was sorta…'part' of his gang. He sighed and closed his eyes to rest for a bit.

Kagome very slowly opened her eyes, only to blink them shut a couple of times. After getting used to the lights, she looked around at her surroundings. She slowly rolled her head to the side and smiled when she seen Inuyasha laying there, his head laying down next to her hand. With little strength, she did what she's been craving to do since she first saw him. She reached her hands up and placed it on his ear, rubbing it with her fingers. To her surprise the other one twitched and her let out a small moan, which turned into a purr. `purring? He purrs?' she rubbed it a little more before running her fingers through his hair, and that woke him up. He shot his head up and looked right at Kagome. “Hey, you feeling any better?” he asked with a worried look on his face.

Kagome nodded with a reassuring smile. “Kinda thirsty is all.” She said with a quiet voice.

He leaned over to the small table and grabbed a glass full of water. He handed her the glass and she greedily took it and chugged it down in less than a second. Inuyasha scoffed as she handed him the empty cup.

“What's so funny?” she asked playfully pushing on his shoulder. She pulled herself up so that she was now sitting against the headboard. Inuyasha jumped up on the bed and sat down next to her, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and pulling her onto his chest. She smiled and leaned against his shoulder. “Yash?” she asked, rolling her head so she was looking up at his face.

“yeah?” he asked looking straight at the wall ahead, knowing what she was going to ask.

“um… do you… well… I mean, do you think I'm….well… you know…” she looked away, not wanting to get the answer she feared him to say. “You don't think I'm a… whore do you? Cause I'm not…I never…” Inuyasha looked down at her and brought her face to his with his free hand.

“Kagome, listen to me. you are not in any way a whore, or anything like it. you are just a regular girl who has gone through a lot. I don't want you ever thinking you are. And if you ever do, I guess I am going to have to punish you.” He said with a grin on his face.

She smiled and yawned, causing her to strain her neck back and squeak in pain. She reached up and touched her sore neck. Her eyes widened as she rubbed across the swollen skin. Inuyasha frowned and pulled away her hand, bringing hid nose to her neck and nuzzling lightly. She leaned forwards and turned around, then grimacing from not being able to twist as normal because of the bandages around her chest and waist. “Yasha, what happened to me?” she asked, running her hands along the tight, white cloth.

Inuyasha looked down and then up at her again, bringing her closer to him so she was straddling his waist. “You had to go through some surgery, because of that bastard who kicked you. As for your neck, that should go away in a couple of hours.” He said leaning up and kissing her on the forehead.

She looked up at him, before almost immediately looking away. “I look like shit don't I.” She said looking down at his stomach, tracing his muscles. She felt her head jerked up lightly to gaze into angry eyes.

“Baby, you don't look like shit, you never do. Stop talking bad about yourself. That's all you've been doing tonight. Now lay down and go back to sleep. I need you to be healed so I can hold you like I usually would. And if I hear you complain about yourself one more time, I am going to find some way to make you understand… and those aren't usually peaceful ways. Go to sleep.” He demanded as he rolled them over so her chest was facing his and held her close.

She pouted her bottom lip out, “but I'm not…” Yawn “Tired.”

“goodnight, Kags.” He said with a knowing smile.

“I hate you, ya know that?” she wrapped her arms around his waist and looked up at him with a very un-Kagome like smile. “That's why you're mine, so that I can hate you all to myself.”

Inuyasha smirked and kissed her forehead, “Sleep.” He whispered as she frowned and leaned her forehead against his chest and mumbled something about him being no fun, before the sleep took the best of her and she soon was dead asleep. He leaned his chin on her head, thinking how he is going to do this. He was pulled from his thoughts when he heard the doorbell ring. `And so it begins.' He pulled away from Kagome, getting a moan from the loss of warmth. He pulled the comforters over her and kissed her on the forehead before leaving the room.
