“So, do we all agree to go to the eastern mansion at Koutira's permission, I mean it is your house in all.” Miroku turned to a pale blue haired necko demon. She was wearing a Black shirt that said `do you believe in love at first sight, or do I have to walk by again' in pink letters, also wearing black hip hugger pants with chains dangling from each belt loop, attached to others.

Koutira nodded her head and smirked. “Just as long as you don't destroy the place to hell, like you did the last one.”

“Feh. We will all bring our junk and move in tomorrow. Go home and do whatever you feel. Miroku?” he turned towards his second in command.

“Yeah?” he replied.

“Call me in the morning to wake me up, I'll probably be in here tonight and since there is no alarm clock here, I need one. Now leave all of you.” He said waving his hand. Everyone but Miroku and Sango left.

“What'd she do… what'd you do?” Miroku said with a knowing grin on his face.

“I don't even know… but alls I know is that she's pissed and I know she wont want me in there tonight.” He explained, shrugging his shoulders and turning on the big screen that formed out of the wall.

“Do you want me to go talk to her yash?” Sango suggested.

“If you want… but I don't really know if she likes you.” Inuyasha said flatly.

“Ahh, don't worry about it, my Sango can take care of it. Cant you my dear?” Miroku pecked her on the cheek.

“Uh… yeah. Ill just be going now.” She slipped from Miroku's grasp and ran up the steps.

“You just got rejected HAHA.” Inuyasha laughed lazily.

“Shut the fuck up, she's just to tied up with the whole Kagome and moving deal. Are you even going to move? I mean Kagome just moved in with you and now she has to move again… that would really suck.”

Inuyasha shrugged his shoulders. “I don't know, I'll talk to her tomorrow morning, if she's still not pissed.”

“Ahh I see. Well I'm getting a beer, want one?” Miroku stood up, and walked towards the kitchen.

“Sure, MAKE SURE ITS COLD THIS TIME!!!” Inuyasha growled.

“Fine, fine whatever.” Miroku sighed and walked into the kitchen.

Kagome sat on the bed with her knees held against her chest and her arms wrapped around her legs. She wasn't crying, but she was very deep in thought. `Why would he do this to me… Gerrr, I'm gonna kill him. He shoulda explained this to me first.' “ARGH” she yelled in frustration. She was knocked away from her thoughts when she heard a light knock on the door. It wouldn't be Inuyasha, he woulda pouneded and yelled at her to let him in. “Hold on.” She ran up and unlocked the door before returning to her spot on the bed. “Ok, its unlocked.”

Sango walked in and smiled. “Hey Kagome… thought I'd come to say hi.” She said hesitantly.

“Oh, I'm sorry about earlier, I was just pissed that EVERY one was calling me a bitch. And I was caught in a moment.” She added as a slight blush covered her cheeks.

“Its nothing, I understand.” She said as she walked closer and sat at the end of the bed. “So Kagome, why ya locking yourself in here?” she asked with a comforting smile.

Kagome scowled and looked down. “Inuyasha is a big jerk, he thinks he can just walk in here and mark me, and THEN say that I'm gonna turn into some freak.” She said as she clenched her fists.

Sango only laughed and put a hand on her shoulder, “Kagome, your not going to be a freak. Me being and ex demon slayer, I know a lot about demons. And I know a lot about their mating habits as well.” She explained with a big smile on her face.

“Then do you know whats going to happen to me… PLEASE tell me Sango.” She begged with a desprate look in her eyes.

“I think since you have miko energy in you… and human… you will either just become stronger and receive the markings like on Sesshomaru's face, accept with the cresent under your eye on on your cheek bone. Or you will become stronger and get ears on the top of your head like inu, but they would be black, and fangs and a tail… actually you would get fangs either way.” She explained as kagome nodded.

Kagome gave Sango a confused look. “What does Sesshomaru look like.” She still hadn't met him yet, shes heard about him, but not met him.

“well, he has stripes on his cheeks” se drew them on her own face as she explained. “and on his eyelids, and two stripes on each wrist. He also has a moon like mark on his fore head, which if you got those traits, it would be on your cheekbone, under your eye, about right here.” She pointed to a spot under her eye.

Kagome nodded as she felt a large weight be lifted from her chest. “Well I can deal with that, I mean as long as no horns or skills come, I'm fine. Um Sango?” she looked up at Sango.

“Yes hun?”

“Well, um… why… I mean, never mind.” She shook her head and looked at Sango with a smile.

“O…k… well if you have any Questions, or just need someone to talk to. I'm always available. Especially since now you are mates with the leader of the pack, I will gladly help you out.” She said as she gave Kagome a light hug.

“Ok, thanks… and sorry again about earlier.”

“Don't worry about it. I need to go now, me and Miroku have to go get ready for tomorrow.” She said as she stood up.

Kagome grabbed her arm and stopped her from leaving. “Wait, can you um tell Inuyasha to come see me, tell him im not mad at him as much any more. Could ya do that for me please?”

“Sure, see you tomorrow, and goodnight, well actually its morning now… so good morning.” Sango said looking at the alarm clock that said 3:32, which sat on the nightstand.

“thanx, Sango. Thanx for everything.” Kagome jumped up and gave Sango a big hug.

“No problem Kags. I'll send him up for you.” She said as Kagome released her. Sango opened the door and shut it again. Kagome smiled and sat back down on the bed, she was much more together now that she knew the possibilities. She laid back and closed her eyes. Not even knowing how tired she really was, sleep took over. Soon she was snoring with her mouth wide open.

Inuyasha opened the door and opened his mouth to speak, but snapped it shut. There was his Kagome, lying partly on the bed, and dead asleep. `is she actually snoring?' he thought as he made his way to the side of the bed. Her mouth was wide open and her eyes were relaxed and shut. She was sleeping in a cross position with her arms spread out. He laughed a little before carefully picking her up and laying her back down in a more comfortable position. Kicking of his shoes, he pulled off his shirt and lay down next to her, rolling her on her side and pulling her close. She mumbled something about being so warm and snuggled closer. He smirked and kissed her head before allowing a well-needed sleep take over.

*~~*~~*~~*~~* next morning

Rin was up, had been since about an hour ago, and was staring at her sleeping youkai. His mouth was shut in a straight line and his eyes were firmly closed. Rin brought her hand up and began tracing the marks with her nail. His eyes popped open and looked straight at her. To busy tracing the slashes on his cheek, se hadn't noticed yet. He mentally smirked and began to purr, causing her to stop abruptly. She looked at his eyes to see them open and starring back at her. “Good morning.” She said in a very cheery mood.

“Good morning… how long have you been awake Rin?” he asked as she continued tracing the marks.

“Oh, since about five… its six now. I couldn't sleep, so I just sat here.” She said as her finger moved to the crescent mark on his head.

“Why didn't you wake me up?” he asked curiously, beginning to sit up.

“Because, you looked like you were really tired, and I didn't want to wake you up… so I didn't. well… until now. Sorry.” She said with a little laugh in her voice.

Now Sesshomaru was sitting up and leaning back against the headboard. Rin straddled his waist, tracing along his muscles. “Hmm, no need for apologies, Rin. Although you should have woken me up.” He glanced up at her before turning his head sideways to crack his neck.

“You know, its not healthy to do that, it can make your bones and tissues really swollen.” She added as she moved her hand up to his neck, rubbing the side with her fingers. She just couldn't help it, she wanted to just sit there and touch him all day long.

He cocked his eyebrow and smirked. He didn't mind her caressing, but it was only turning him on, and if she kept this up, she would be underneath him in about ten seconds, having the brains fucked outa her. But he contained that urge and only purred louder. The other thing that added to his hardness was that she was still naked and sitting a few inches above his member. Rin yawned and pulled her arms up to stretch. Sesshomaru's pupils went small as she did this, the way she bent backwards to stretch, causing her breasts to pop out. He quickly flipped around positions, him being on top of her, and began kissing her along the neck and shoulder.

Rin let out a small eep as she noticed he was now on top of her, again. “Hello Sesshomaru. Am I that irresistible that you cant keep off of me for a couple of hours?” she asked with a very cute pitch.

“Rin, you have no idea what you were doing..” he said into her neck.

Rin giggled. She was actually doing most of it on purpose, seeing how long he could maintain himself. She wrapped her arms around him and pulled herself up to his ear. “Sesshy, I believe I have found e weakness of yours.” She smiled as she licked his ear lope, nibbling on it.

Sesshomaru stopped and pushed her down. “You're a tricky little bitch aren't you?” he kissed her on the cheek, but she moved so he kissed her mouth.

“If you say so.” She said as she smacked her lips against his. She jumped after she heard a knock on the door.

“lord Sesshomaru, are you in there?” a small female voice called from beyond the door.

Sesshomaru growled and pulled away. “Yes.” He said huskily.

“Well, yesturday you asked me to remind you that you had a meeting with an alliance at 8:00. its now 7:00. would you like breakfast to be made?”

“Very well, I will be down in about ten minutes.” He replied, picking himself off of Rin and standing off the bed.

“Yes, lord Sesshomaru.” That said the servant walked away from the door.

Sesshomaru looked down at fin and scowled. “If you want, I can give you a ride home on my way.” He said as he pulled up his pants.

Rin stood and scowled as well. She really didn't like her home, and she knew she would be grounded for not calling about not being home in time. “Yeah, I think I should go check in. I didn't call so they are probably worried sick about me.” she lied. `they are probably as pissed as hell at me' she thought.

“Ok, go get some cloths from Inuyasha's wen... Kagome.” He added quickly as Rin gave him a warning glare. “Here put this one, seeing as how I disposed of your shirt.” He handed her a too-big black shirt.

“Yeah, about that… you owe me a new shirt, and a new braw as well. That was my favorites braw too.” She growled as she pulled the shirt over her head.

“fine… I'll take you shopping later if that's what you want.” Sesshomaru added flatly as he picked out another shirt from his closet and putting it on.

Rin's eyes lit up as she ran up to him and squeezed him. “Thank you sooo much. I haven't went shopping in forever! Thank you thank you thank you sesshy!” she screamed as she tiptoed and kissed him lightly and ran out the door.

Sesshomaru stood for a second, and then shrugged, leaving the room as well.

“KAGOME! KAGOME WAKE UP!” Kagome jumped up, and would have fallen off the bed if Inuyasha hadn't caught her.

“What the hell?” she asked to no one in particular. She held her hand to her chest and took a big breath.

Inuyasha pulled her onto his lap and kissed her cheek. “I think you little friend needs you.” He whispered.

Kagome looked over at him, still a little startled. A small smile formed across her lips. “Yasha. Hey I'm sorry about….”

“KAGOME! LET ME IN!! I NEED TO BARROW SOME OF YOUR CLOTHS.” Rin shouted threw the door.

Kagome sighed. “I'll talk to ya in a minute, okay.” She said as she slowly got up off Inuyasha. She opened the door and in came Rin, pulling her into a big hug. “Good… morning… Rin” She managed to gasp out.

Rin only held tighter, “Good morning Kagos! Hey can I borrow some cloths?” Rin asked, pulling away slightly woth a big smile on her face.

“Sure, my bags are over there. Rin, why are you so happy?” kagome asked, walking over to her bags.

“Yeah, Rin. What did you do last night that made so much noise?” Inuyasha mocked from on the bed.

“Um… well… Me and Sesshomaru kinda… um.” She poked her fingers together.

Kagome smirked, “I see, so that's why your all glowing… someone got laid.”

“Hey, I wasn't the only one. Who was that screaming Inuyasha's name last night huh?” Rin defended.

Kagome blushed and turned to the bags. “Pick out what you want…”

Wait, no. don't change the subject.. I wanna see what happens.” Inuyasha whined.

“Shut up Inuyasha.” The two girls said in union.

“Ok, Ok sheash.” He put his hands up in defence.

“But yeah, Sesshomaru's going to take me home and then later he's taking me SHOPPING!” she quealed as she picked out a pair of blue pajama pants and a red tank top. “Can I wear this for now?”

“Sure, hope you have fun Rin.” She hollered as Rin made way out of the room. Kagome went and shut the door, leaning her back against it. “That girl is WAY to jumpy.” She added before walking back the bad and sitting in front of the waiting hanyou. Her awaiting hanyou. “Well, as I was saying, I'm sorry for getting all mad at you last night. I was just confused. Then Sango came in and explained all what could happen, and I am a little bit happier about it.”

Inuyasha watched as she rambled on about her apologies. He smirked and wrapped his arms around her, bringing her onto his lap. “Its okay baby, I should apologize too. I should have told you first.” He kissed her nose.

She smiled and licked his nose. She closed her eyes and yawned. When she opened her eyes, she could see Inuyasha staring right above her head with his mouth hanging open. “What, is there something on my head?” Inuyasha only nodded, keeping his gaze on her head. “Oh my god, what is it?” she screeched as she reached up and felt the top of her head. she froze and ran to her bag, pulling out a mirror and facing it towards the top of her head. She screamed and her eyed rolled into the back of her head.

Inuyasha was there in time to catch before she hit the ground. Inuyasha picked her up and carried her back to the bed, laying her down and lightly slapping the side of her face. “Kagome, wake up. Kagome, its not that bad is it?” he asked as she slit open her eye.

`it was only a dream, only a…' she reached up and felt the little fuzzy ears at the top of her head. “It was real. Inuyasha, it doesn't look weird, does it?” she asked as she gave him a teary look.

Inuyasha only smirked and bent over, kissing her cheek, “No, I think it makes you look even more sexy than you already are,” he smiled and kissed her again.

She pushed him back, and slowly sat up, “Oh my god, how am I supposed to walk around in public with these? People will think I'm crazy.”

Inuyasha's ear twitched and flattened against his head. “Hey, what are you sayin'? they aren't all that bad Kagome.” He said giving her a very hurt look.

“I'm sorry yash. They do look great… on you. But you've lived with them, I haven't. and now I am going to have to show my face in the crowds of people in town who've already seen me, and they'll think I am crazy and just trying to look like a demon, well half demon.” She put her hands over her new ears.

Inuyasha pulled her up against him. “kagome, what did I say about caring what people think. It doesn't matter. All that matters is that you not be ashamed of what… I mean who you are. And if anyone does hurt your feelings I'll tear them to pieces.” He explained as he rubbed circles into her back.

Kagome nodded and pulled her hands from her ears and hugged Inuyasha. “thanks ya…” she paused as she felt a surge of energy run through her. From reflexes, she doubled over in pain, puking over the side of the bed.

“KAGOME! Are you okay?” he asked as he rushed her to the bathroom, where she again vomited up whatever was in her stomach from the past few days. He held her hair back as she leaned over the toilet.

“Inu… yasha… whats going on? My stomach… it feels like its… its…” she vomited again.

“Shh, wait till it stops, then talk.” He hushed her, rubbing small circles on her back while holding her hair. “just try to breathe. Just…” his eyes widened as he felt a small ball appeared through her pants. He blinked and backed up enough to look down. `A… A tail?' he asked himself. He felt Kagome tense and once again vomit, but now she had nothing in her stomach, so only bile came out. His nose twitched at the salty smell of tears. He rushed back to her and continued rubbing her back. “Its okay, Kagome, breathe. Just breathe and let it take its course.”

Kagome sobbed into the toilet as her stomach continued contracting, trying to get more liquid. She did as Inuyasha told and inhaled deeply before exhaling. She did it a couple of times more and was glad to feel her stomach slow down on its little event. “Yash… what's happening to me?” she manged to breathe out without puking again.

“I don't know, I think it may be part of the transformation. Just breathe and relax, ok?” she nodded her head, but kept it over the toilet bowl. She tensed up again, letting out another choke of bile. Inuyasha jumped as he felt the vibration go off in his back pocket. “Can you hold yourself ok while I take this call?” she nodded, trying to breath. Inuyasha stood up and walked to the door way and stood against the wall outside. He opened the flip cell phone, “Hello?” he said kinda shakily.

“Whats wrong Yash, you sound terrified.” Sagno said from the other line.

“Sango, thank Kami its you… hey you know a lot about the changing thing after a mating right?” he more staed hten asked

“Yes… why, is there something wrong?” Sango asked worried for her friend.

Inuyasha winced as he heard Kagome puke up again and letting out a painful sob. “Yeah, get your ass over here, NOW!” he practically yelled into the phone and hung it up, throwing it to the side and running into the bathroom to see Kagome bawling into the toilet. He ran to her side and returned to the position he was in before the phone call. “Kagome, its okay. I just told Sango to come over and it wont be long until we find out what wrong. I'm sorry babe, I didn't know this would happen.” He glanced up and down at her impatiently. It hurt him to see his mate in such a horrible position.

Kagome only shook her head, sending tears flying. “Don't say sorry, yasha… you did it out of love… and I … undertand…” she trailed off into yet another vomit. She took a breath and continued. “I understand… that this is… part of the… change and don't care… as long as you are here… with me.” she ended her sentence with a very deep inhale, then exhale.

“Kagome, you… you're, god dammit. I love you baby, and I will stay with you until the end you know that, but this… I hate to see you like this.” He sadly added, kissing her back, about the only palce he was able to kiss at the time. He scowled even more as his nose began to bring in loads of the scent of bile and undigested food.

Kagome nodded and right then Sango came rushing in through the door, almost knocking it off its hinges. “Oh my Kami, Kagome!” She ran to the opposite side of her as Inuyasha and put a hand on her head. “Good, no fever. Yash, she is going through a very important part of the change, it is also the most painful. It should be over soon, by the looks off things. What's happening is that since the new strength, power, and agility is forcing its way into her body quicker than it would normally for a human, her stomach isn't used to it and is finding the only way to release the tension.” She stopped as Inuyasha nodded, showing he was paying attention.

“When will… it stop?” a small voice came from the toilet bowl.

“Oh, Kagome. You just keep your mind on breathing, I am pretty sure its going to end really soon.” He eyes shifted to the top of her head. “And I see you got your answer to what trait you get.” Sango changed postions and pushed Inuyasha far enough to see the lump in er pants. “Kagome, is it alright if we take your pants off? It might help the tension.” Kagome nodded eagerly wanting the pain to stop. Inuyasha held Kagome up as Sango undid them and took them off. Then with a big sigh of relief from Kagome, the long and fluffy tail wagged joyfully with freedom. Kagome felt her stomach immediately relax and all pain disappear.

She slumped back against Inuyasha's warm body. “Much better…” she gasped. “can I lay down now? I think I'm better enough.” She begged, feeling extremely tired.

Inuyasha grabbed a towel from the sink rack and quickly wiped off his mates mouth. “Are you sure you'll be okay?” he asked with much worry in his voice.

“Yeah…” she breathed out, her eyes closed and already falling asleep. Before she knew it, she was in a different room, lying on her side in a bed with two strong arms around her. She smiled and soon enough she was dead asleep.

“Thank Kami that's over.” Inuyasha whispered to himself. It pained him to see her they way she was. He shook the image away and leaned his chin against the top of her head with his eyes staring off into space. He had no intention of sleeping, after what just happened he only wanted to hold her. He almost jumped when he felt something rub against his leg. He looked down to see a little black fuzzy tail wrapping around his leg. It was thin at the top then came out to a fluff of fur the lower it went, and at the tips, it was white. He sighed and moved back to his old position and continued to think.

“Turn right here.” Rin pointed to the direction said. The car swerved right down the street. Every minute they got closer to her house, she would get this pain in her stomach. The last time she was late home, she was grounded for almost two months, even though she is twenty years old, her parents wont let her move out. They always made up some stupid excuse, and now she was stuck at her home. The car came to a stop near the curb before her house. “Thanx for the ride Sesshomaru.” She managed to say with a smile on her face.

“I will be here to pick you up at 3:00.” Sesshomaru added. He couls tell the emotions going on through her head, fear and hate being the most common. he figured she would explain in time, so he let it slip.

“Ok, three it is then. I'll wait outside for you. Thanks for everything sesshy.” She said before pecking him on the cheek and jumping out of his silver Ferrari. Stopping at the door, she turned around and gave a happy wave to him. Sesshomaru gave an approving nod before taking off down the street. Rin's smile immediately fell into a frown and she let out a big sigh. “Here it goes.” Her hand turned the knob and opened the door, only to be grabbed by her hair and dragged into the house.

“Why were you out so late, Rin. I told you to be home by seven. Speak Now.” The older woman yelled, slapping Rin on the side of her face. She was in her late thirties, and looked as though she should be in her teens, mostly from all of the plastic surgery. She wore a tight black tube top and tight bleu jeans with black lines going up the side.

Rin squeezed her eyes shut, “I was with Kagome, momma. I got side tracked and…” she was cut off from another slap in the face.

“Rin, you could have called and don't you even dare to put up excuses. You are grounded to your room for three months. Rin, I swear if you do this one more time without mine or your fathers permission, I am going to send you away to your aunts house. NOW get out of my sight and of to your room!” The woman yelled again, pushing Rin towards the basement stairs where her room was.

Rin nodded as tears began to fall down her cheeks and ran down the steps to her room. She got to her room and slammed the door shut yelling, “I HATE YOU!” she slid down to the floor as tears continued to coarse down her cheeks. She slammed her head back against the wall and let out a frustrated scream. After her emotions settled a little, she pulled out the small piece of paper with Sesshomaru's number written on it that she asked for in the car. After that she pulled out her cell phone and dialed the number.

“Hello, Rin. What is it?”

She sniffed and took a breath. “Well, I'm not going to be able to go to the store today, or for the net three months at that. my stupid mom grounded me for staying out to long.” She sniffed again as the marks on her cheeks began to sting.

“Rin, why are you crying? Did something happen to you?” Sesshomaru quickly asked, worry etched through his voice.

“No, I'm fine… my mom just slapped me a couple a times, and I'm also sad that I wont be able to see you today.”

“Are you sure, I can come get you right now if that's what you want.”

“It's a nice thought, but my mom put my room in the basement and the only ways to get out are the door, which my mom would find out and yell at me some more, o I could try and go through the small vents. But I'm not as small as I used to be and my dad put things in the way of it on the outside… so in other words, I'm stuck.” He voice let out a very pathetic laugh as she spoke.

“Pack up some cloths and whatever else you need, and meet me outside by that vent. I am already on my way.”

“But how do I get out with the stuff in the way?”

“I will take care of that, just get yourself to the end, I will take care of the rest.”

“But they will call the cops and find me, then I will be sent away to my aunts house, who happens to be a corrections officer might I add.” Rin explained, while already unconsciously packing her things.

“You are old enough to move out so they have no hold on you. And even if they found a way through that, I have friends in high places. Don't worry about that. just get to the vents and I will be there okay Rin?”

“Okay…” Rin let out a sigh and continued throwing stuff into a blue back pack.

“Okay, I will be there soon. Be ready.” The line hung up and Rin threw down the phone.

Rin ran into her bathroom and grabbed her small makeup bag and other accessories, before running and throwing them into the bag. After packing a few more things, she zipped up the bag and threw it into the vents. She turned around and skimmed the room for anything she missed. `the door!' she thought as she grabbed a chair from her desk and jammed it against the door knob. Nodding her head, she ran to the vents and crawled in. `wow, I actually fit.' She pushed the bag in fron of her, making her way to the end, which was only a little farther. Finally reaching the end, she could see a figure waiting threw the vents. She reached over her bag and clicked the inside locks off, causing the vent cover to fall off. Her bag was pulled out, and her soon after.

“Come on, Rin. I still have a meeting to get to. Are you alright?” he asked, holding her back over his shoulder and her close to him.

Rin nodded. “Yeah, I'm fine. Lets get out of here before…”

“Rin! WHERE THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING AND WHO THE HELL IS THAT ON MY PROPERTY?!” A woman yelled from the second story.

“She is going with me, now keep to your own god damned business.” he looked back at Rin. “Lets go before I'm late.”

Rin nodded and thee walked to the car on the curb. By the time they got to the car, sirens were heard down the street. They hurried into the car and took off. “Sorry for making you late… if you are late.” Rin quietly added.

“Don't worry about it, this was more important. You can wait in the car while I go t the meeting, or you can come in. it is your choice.” Sesshomaru replied, glancing over at the sad girl beside him.

“I'll go with you I guess.”

“Okay, after that we will go shopping for you.”

“Okay, sounds like fun!” She exclaimed, kissing him on the cheek.
