InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Still in Love ❯ Why??! ( Chapter 2 )

Hello, it is me, Gothic Youkai666. Anyway, let's get to the important stuff; this is not a Hojo/Kagome fic! Personally, I hate, and I mean hate Hojo/Kagome fics! Hojo is too much of a goody-goody two shoes! He makes me sick! Whenever I see him, I feel like hurting him, and injuring him, and lighting him on fire, and other evil things! (Sorry, I'm just a punk-rocker and I hate people like Hojo!)

Anyway, it's probally gonna be an Inu-Yasha/Kagome fic! ^__^ But, (very sorry Kagome/Inu-yasha fans!) sadly,may not be an Inu-Yasha/Kagome fic. It just might not work out, but probally will be Inu-Yasha ending up with Kagome, but, don't worry, won't be *shivers* Hojo.And, yes, Rubi, Fluffy, and Rin are good guys in my fanfic. I know Fluffy was hott an evil dude, but, hey, my friend, Ashura *real name Rubi* wanted to be in this fic as a good guy and Fluffy's girlfriend. I promised and now this is the way it has to be. If you have a problem, oh well, if not, great. Anyway, enough of me rambling on about how monkeys will soon dominate the earth, on with the story...

"Are you serious??" Rubi asked.

Kagome nodded. "And the sad part is... I think he's right." Tears started streaming down Kagome's face.

Rubi put a comforting hand on Kagome's shoulder. "There, there, Kag-chan. Everything will be alright."

Kagome dabbed her eyes again. "Sorry, Rubi, for crying like this. It's just, I miss him so much, but I can't just let him back into my life, not after what he did to me."

Rubi looked at Kagome with a comforting gaze. "I understand. Now here's what I want you to do. Go home. Take a nice, hot bath. And then call Inu-Yasha and talk to him about this."

Kagome nodded her head. "Thanks, mom." Rubi & Kagome both laughed and said their good-byes.

Kagome got home and wasn't surprised that Debido and Hojo had gone out food-shopping. She set her keys on end table next to the front door and went upstairs. Kagome walked down the hall and walked in to the last door on her left, which happens to be the bathroom. She turned the nob in the bath tub, and watched for a few seconds, the water pouring in.

Kagome sighed and sat on the edge of the tub. She started to think about Suzuna and Ruzuna. 'Should I tell them about Inu-Yasha?' one voice in her head asked.

'No! That would only confuse the children!' Another voice said. *A/N- NO, Kagome is NOT insane!*

Kagome shook her head from all of these confusing thoughts, and looked down at the water in the tub. She did not like who was looking back at her. She saw a much too skinny woman. Whose eyes that used to be so full of life, were now filled with sorrow and depression. She saw a woman who had such rosey cheeks just five years ago, but were now as pale as snow.

Kagome looked away from her reflection, and tears started to stream down her cheeks. She grabbed a tissue from the tissue box and blew her nose. "Why, WHY Inu-Yasha?! Why did you do this to me?!" she screamed as more tears rolled down her face.

Sorry for the VERY short chapter!! T__T VERY busy with homework! I hate you, teachers! I mean, c'mon! Whose idea was it to give CLASSWORK to do at home? That's messed up, big time! And another thing, why should we have work on the weekends?? I mean, weren't weekends created to give the student a break? Apparently they were really made to give the student four times as much work, but to make it look like a little bit 'cause you have two days to do it. Okay, I'm getting off topic.... Well, I'll try to make the next chapter extra long, but no promises! I don't like making promises... too much responsibility... And, I might make the next chapter as Inu-Yasha's point of view! But, no promises. that's it 'til the next chapter!
