Angel's Food Cake
Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, and Kagome were seating in a booth sipping their delicious smoothies, in their favorite smoothie joint. "Mmmm this is the best strawberry banana smoothie I've had in a long time, Sango exclaimed breaking the silence. Everyone glanced at her with a look of boredom. Just then Kikyou walked in, with a blue flyer that read:
Open Tryouts For Swim Team.
Must be able to swim the length of the pool without stopping.
Must be 14-16 of age!
So come tryout for the Sting Rays.
Try Outs are today at 3:50-5:30
The mood suddenly changed and everyone was crowding around the flyer, Kagome grabbed the flyer from Kikyou and examined it. "Wow, everyone is going to want to join this team, especially Miroku", Kagome chuckled to herself. The big crowd left the Angels, and practically ran to the community pool, the sidewalks were filled with teenagers. Sango and Kagome had their swimsuits handy as they entered the office. A kind, middle age looking lady was seating at the front desk, "how may I help you", she asked.
Coach Forest walked out of her office holding her clipboard with the final names of the members for the Sting Rays. "I had a speech, but I seemed to have lost it", coach mumbled while searching through her clipboard. "While I guess I'll just tell you the members of the team, but remember everyone did a very good job, but some weren't what we were looking for, so please don't feel rejected, the members are…(everyone urged her on with nerves faces) Serena, Neko, Sango, Kikyou, Kagome, Miroku, Kouga, Rin, Yuri, and Inuyasha." Coach sang. "Well thanks for trying out; all who didn't make it keep practicing, but all who made, please come to the office tomorrow to receive your swimsuit uniforms." Coach said and walked out of the room. "Free smoothies all around for every member of the team", Inuyahsa yelled over the loud rejoicing. So everyone entered Angels and ordered their favorites.
