“Storage”

Impatiently Inuyasha paced around the well, debating whether the sitting he would get for going after Kagome before her three days were up--so it was only a few hours short, does that really matter in the whole scheme of things?—was worth it. Mind made up, he leapt down the old hole and felt the light transport him to Kagome's world.

As he made his appearance, the blue light announced his arrival; he jumped out of the well just in time to be slapped on the forehead and hear “Begone, demon!” As he stumbled back, he then heard “Oh, it's you.”

“Hell, yeah, who'd you think it was, jiji?” he replied exasperatedly. “And get this OFF of me!”

As grandpa removed the sutra, he muttered, “One can never be too careful these days.” Then he looked closely at Inuyasha and said, “While you're here waiting for my granddaughter to return, how about if you help me?”

Uh-oh, thought Inuyasha. “With what?” he asked warily.

“Oh, I'm just clearing out some old stuff and re-organizing things around here. I could use your help moving some of these boxes. They're pretty heavy for an old man like me. Besides, it will help the time go faster for you.”

As Kagome climbed the steps, she saw a huge pile of junk outside the well-house. Then she spotted Inuyasha's bare torso glistening with sweat. Before she had a chance to admire it, he spun around to her and said, “This stuff is AWESOME!”
