A/N:: Ok this is my first fanfic. I decided that writing would be just as fun as reading. I really hope everyone likes it. Please review. It would be both reassuring and a great way to know what you think! R&R!!!

Chapter 1::

Inuyasha huffed as he watched Kagome lie in a field of flowers near the camp with a little fox demon curled up beside her watching the stars. She was so ignorant. Why couldn't she just see that every demon was out to get the nearly finished jewel that hung around her neck? He thought this as Kagome pointed out the big dipper for Shippo.

"Inuyasha?" Miroku pondered why Inuyasha was staring at his friend as though she were about to die.

"WHAT?!" The hanyou shouted scaring Kirara out of a near by tree and causing everyone to stare.

Kagome had gotten up and walked over to the pitiful reature. She stared leaning toward him her eyes on fire. "Why can't you be considerate of the people who put up to be your friend?" she asked furiously. She was huffing mad and right up in the cowering hanyou's face.

"Uh," Inuyasha started but didn't have time to finish.

"WE help you battle demons, eat, and be as nice as possible and you can't just simply be POLITE???" she creamed backing off a little. Then suddenly she huffed and turned on heel and headed toward the woods.

Inuyasha simply stared after her, dumbstruck trying to erase the thought of how cute she was when she was mad.
A few days after the blow up by Kagome they reached the village of Kaeda. She welcomed them into thier home asking of thier latest feats and adventures. Everyone joined her for tea and laughed as they filled her in. That is everyone but Inuyasha. He thought it useless to dwell on such stupid things.

Kagome then started telling about how they had defeated Tsubaki. The old miko was an excellent listener and ohhhed and awwwed in the perfect spots.

Finally it was time for some dinner. Inuyasha sat and watched them eat when Shippo noticed.

"Inuyasha thinks he's to good for such lowly food," the kitsune stated. "He'd rather have a feast fit for a lord of land!" He laughed as did miroku but the girls knew exactly what was next.

Kagome sighed and just as Inuyasha reached for the kitsune's tail she screamed at the top of her lunds "the word"

"SIT BOY!!!"

*WHAM*
Inuyahsa had dizzy eyes as he jumped up. "How come you never punish him for being a jerk???" he shouted.

"Because he was joking," Kagome replied angerily.

"SO?" Inuyasha replied.

"So he is a child, Inuyasha! You only act like one!" she screamed back at him. "Why can't you grow up?"

"I do NOT act like a child!" he stated. You could see the flames between them as they bickered and fought until Kaede put an end to it.

"Hush! Ye are going to wake the nieghbors. I thought ye were both more mature," she said as though she were their mother. She glared at them and the softened and added jokingly, "Do ye need a time out?"

Niether Inuyasha nor Kagome took this well. Both walked out of the room as though their life depended on it.

Kaede shook her head and suddenly she had a wonderful idea.
Kaede stood over the sleeping figures of Kagome and Inuyasha with a herb simmering over their forms as she muttered an incantation. She hoped that after this they would stop bickering and come to their sences. 'Maybe even,' she thought with a slight grin, 'admit their true feeling toward each other.'
