Chapter Five- Kikyou and Inuyasha

A/N-I am so happy now! People actually reviewed! MANY THANKS TO ALIMM AND INUYASHA99 I APPRECIATE THIS! Sorry if I am getting worked up about this, but it took forever for someone to review! Well onto the story!

Kikyou sat on a grassy hill contemplating about how she would convince Inuyasha to turn human. 'We will not agree to this. He won't give up being strong to be a human. But if he wants my love he will have to. It is not right for a priestess to be with a hanyou.' She thought.

Quick Note- I am going to have a rather harsh plan involving Inuyasha and Kikyou and the Jewel soon. Just a FYI.

Inuyasha and Kagome sat on the shrine steps and drank their soda. Kagome decided to make conversation.

"So Inuyasha, I know you might think me dumb for saying this, but why have to tried to kidnap me so many times?" Kagome asked.

'She asks that like she wasn't scared at all!' Inuyasha thought.

"How many times must I tell you this woman!" Inuyasha said in a harsh tone. "I have come on behalf of my- ummmmmmm........ 'friend' back in my time." Inuyasha said.

"She has lost half of her miko powers because of you!" Inuyasha yelled, changing the mood.

"I know that." Kagome said, trying to count to ten in her head to stop from yelling back, "I just thought that you weren't serious." She said.

"Why would I not be serious?!" Inuyasha yelled, "Do you think that I would come from far away to try to kidnap you for no real reason?!" He yelled.

"Is your friend a lady?" Kagome asked flat out.

"Why do you keep changing the subject?! It's annoying!" He yelled.

"Well is it?" She was trying to change the subject because she could feel Inuyasha's anger rising.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS IF SHE IS OR NOT!" Inuyasha was mad now.

Kagome made a mental note of Inuyasha's slip up. 'So she is a girl. I knew it! But if I continue on this subject, I think he might blow up.' She thought.

"I am sorry for changing the subject. I just thought that you didn't want to talk about me anymore." Kagome said.

Inuyasha looked at her surprised. 'How can she change her moods so easily? All of her expressions are shown on her face. She might look like Kikyou, but she doesn't act it.' Inuyasha thought.

"I am sorry for upsetting you Inuyasha." Kagome said, "I will go now and I really hope I will see you again sometime." Kagome said as she got up to go inside. She was blushing from what she said.

Inuyasha just sat there. 'I will go now too.' He thought as he looked back at Kagome going inside. Inuyasha took the glass with him as he walked back to the well.

He jumped inside and jumped out the other end. He walked over to his 'thinking' hill and saw Kikyou sitting laying there. She was sleeping.

Kagome shut the door and leaned against it. 'I sure hope that was not the last I will see of him. Sure he tried to kidnap me, but I think it might be more than that. I will have to see into this whole miko power thing of mine though.' She thought.

'Mom should be coming home soon. I should get things cleaned up a bit.' Kagome thought.

Inuyasha looked at Kikyou and decided that he should think alone right now. He started to walk away towards a deeper part of the forest.

"Inuyasha I know you are there." Kikyou said, "I need to talk to you. Please come here."

'So she is awake.' Inuyasha thought. He walked toward Kikyou and sat down a yard or two away from her.

Kikyou sat up and looked at Inuyasha. She saw the glass in his hands and looked up at him, "So you're getting friendly with the girl?" She said, clearly upset. (Or jealous!)

Inuyasha looked at her and then looked at the glass in his hand, "Kikyou, I don't know where you are going with this, but I don't want to talk about it if all you are going to do is get angry." Inuyasha said.

"I am not angry." Kikyou said, "But it seems like you want more from this girl than her miko energy." Kikyou said egging him on.

"Why the hell are you acting like this?!" Inuyasha yelled, "You said you wanted to talk to me, not contradict me!" He said getting up and walking away.

"Inuyasha, I do want to talk." Kikyou said.

"Well then dammit talk!" Inuyasha yelled.

"Inuyasha, do you love me?" Kikyou asked.

Kagome sat down on the couch and turned on the TV.

'I can't stop thinking about Inuyasha.' Kagome thinks.
