Uh…..the spell is broken and the gang have decided that they should leave soon, but poor Sesshy doesn't want Kagome to leave!

Chappie 11

Everyone was watching Kagome waiting for her answer. "Well, maybe we should stay for dinner. I mean, it's not like there's a big chance we'll find any shards today and we can leave first thing tomorrow" she answered hopefully. "Whatever Inuyasha decides" Sango said.

Kagome looked back at Inuyasha who was slumped on the large oak tree. "No way! If we look hard we'll find one or two shards! It barely after noon! Stop being so damn lazy!" he yelled jumping down off the oak and walking towards Kagome. "Well…." Kagome said. Maybe if they looked hard they would find a few shards. "I guess if you really want to" she replied.

"Get your stuff, we're leaving" Inuyasha said sitting on a nearby rock to wait for them. "Wait, we have to return your kimono's" Kagome said looking at Sesshomaru. "I have no use for them, take them with you" he said plainly. "Thanks!" Kagome replied happily and captured him in a hug, but quickly let go when she realized what she was doing. Blushing she cried, "Where did those kids go with that lech?"

After the group gathered with all their belongings and after prying Rin from Shippo the group gathered in the garden. "Pretty lady and Shippo will come back to play with Rin later?" Rin asked with her large chocolate eyes. Kagome glanced at Sesshomaru and he said nothing so she replied "Of course, later we will come back with some playthings for you and Shippo to play with together." Rin squealed happily and returned to Sesshomaru's side. "C'mon!" Inuyasha yelled, for he was already at the front of the forest.

"Coming!" Kagome yelled back. She turned to Sesshomaru and said, "I'll miss you! Bye!" She turned on her heel and ran with Shippo in her arms to catch up with the rest of the group. "Farewell…Kagome" Sesshomaru breathed. He stood and watched as Kagome disappeared into the thick forest with her group. Rin looked up at him and asked "Will Sesshomaru miss Kagome?" Sesshomaru looked down at her, patted her head and headed to his study, which he was sure, would be a wreck.

Kagome had just entered the forest after saying goodbye to Sesshomaru. Even though they had only just left she felt sad. She wouldn't see Sesshomaru in a long time. It would be very unlikely to see him soon. She knew he usually liked to patrol his lands and there was a slim chance that they would run into each other.

She would have thought herself crazy for admitting this a few months ago but now it felt right to say that she enjoyed being with Sesshomaru. She had seen a completely different side of him while being with him for only a few days. Maybe he cared about her…….what was she thinking. The prince of ice caring about a clumsy, weak, ningen like her? Not to mention she was a miko, which was a natural enemy to most demons.

Her heart sank a little. She thought about Inuyasha. Inuyasha…..Sesshomaru…..she loved Inuyasha a lot…….but now it seemed more like the kind of love she held for her brother Sota not the kind of love for someone you want to spend the rest of your life with. But for Sesshomaru, it was strange, besides she had never kissed Inuyasha. Not that she never thought about doing it at one point. She had to stop having feelings for Sesshomaru though, he would never return them, and she didn't want to be hurt again anymore anyways.

Kagome finally decided while walking by Sango that she would, from that moment on, stop having feelings for Sesshomaru, Tai-youkai of the West. How wrong she was.

The mind cannot control the heart.
