Spent my free time dying instead of typing..

Ah,well.Here goes.

*********************Chapter 2**********************

The sickly sweet smell was all around him,he tossed and turned in his sleep,

unconsciously trying to get away from the horrible smells source.

"There,there.."Kagome laid her hand on Inuyashas burning brow,only making his discomfort worse."It'll be ok.."She whispered,pushing the silver bangs out of his face.

Kagome watched helplessly as the youth trembled and groaned in his sleep,

as is trying to get away from something horrible....

She looked at her alarm clock. 6am.Great.

She spent all night watching him,thank God it was saturday.

Her stomach made a sound like Buyo did when pulled on the tail,and tugged painfully.

As she stood up,to go get something to eat,the boys eyes fluttered open.

"What happened?"He asked,his voice hoarse and low,and lifted himself on his elbows a little.

Kagme rolled her eyes and smiled.

"Yesterday,you got shot,I carried you in,treated your wounds,you woke up,started shouting and talking nonsence and then blacked out."

She listed smiling cheerfully.

Before he had a chance to start shouting at her to clear things out,she skipped towards the bed,sat on the bed and looking seriously into his eyes asked:

"Tell me,but dont lie,just the truth,I like it when people are honest and feel comfortable with me.So tell me.What do you want for breakfast?"

Inuyasha almost fell off the bed,he expected anything,*anything* but this.

"Err.."He began,not knowing what to say,he hasnt been asked this question for what..Like 6 years?...

"Dont be shy."

Interrupted his thoughts Kagome."Well,if you dont know,"

She continued without giving him a chance to reply."I'll just make some sndwiches and stuff and bring it up here!"She stated happily,getting up and walking towards the door."Ano.."Mumbled Inuyasha."I'll be right back!Stay here and *dont* get up!"

Came the reply.Seeing that it was hopeless to argue,Inuyasha leaned back on the bed."Keh."

Taking it as a yes,Kagome tip-toed down the stairs,taking care to make as litle noise as possible,on the way stepping on Soutas robot-stuff-thingy and tripping over Buyo.

Upstairs,Inuyasha sweat-dropped.The girl was making enough noise to wake up a whole grave-yard...

Kagome quickly looked over the empty kitchen,grabbing a packet of biscuits,a can of peantutbutter,(dunno if they eat eat peanutbutter in Japan..Now they do..^_^')

bread cups,a kettle and all the other breakfast neccesaries and balancing it all on a tray hurried upstairs,closing and barricading the door behind her.

She sighed and wiped her brow,setting the tray down on a chair and moving it closer towards the bed.

"So..What would you like?"She asked,pouring hot water into the cups and looking up,

Inuyasha stared at the food piled on the tray,trying to hide his excitement and failing miserably.

Kagome hid a smile.

"Here you go,"She said,passing him a sndwich,accompanied with a smile,

Inuyasha felt that he longed for both equally,he took the sandwich gingerly.

"T-thankyou." 'Damn that girl!This Inuyasha does not stummer!'

Kagome took a sip from a cup she was holding,nibbled on a biscuit and looked up,almost dropping both.

Inuyasha wasnt looking at her.

He was *way* too preoccupied with the food.He chomped and slurped,not bothering to stop and wipe his mouth,stuffing in bread,peanutbutter,toasts,biscuits and all at the same time.

Kagome stared at him in shock,Inuyasha felt her looking at him at looked up before Kagome could turn away,noticing the look of shock and disgust on her pretty face.

'You fool,beliving her to be different,she's just like the others,you're just an animal to her.'

Kagome blushed at her ignorance.

Inuyasha wiped his mouth on the back of his hand slowly,looking guilty.

******Kagomes perspective.**********

He ate like a hoover,stuffing in food with his hands,crumbs showering the radius of 360 degrees around him,I wonder if he even tasted the food...

It looks like he hasnt eaten for weeks,well,thats very likely..

He probably felt me looking at him,because he stopped and looked at me,not giving me a chance to look away.

The look in his eyes.It went through me like a spear.

I must've looked horrible,he looked like a little,lost kitten,whom I've been stroking and playing and then bashed it on the wall and kicked it.

I guess its a perfect description..The hurt and pain in his eyes..Enough for me to start thinking about suiciding.

Without giving me a chance to apologize,he sprang up from the bed,on the verge of tears.

********Inuyashas perspective********************

I must've looked like such a monster to her,the disgust in her eyes,how could've i let my guard slip like this?!

I almost belived she liked me..That look,it was enough to kill me.

What was I thinking anyway? I gotta leave before things get worse.

Inuyasha jumped towards the window,Kagome realising what he was about to do,sprang up and ran towards him,"Wait!I-Im so sorry,I didnt mean to!"

She grabbed his arm,holding him tightly,startling him greatly.

She looked into his eyes,with her deep brown,warm eyes it felt like she could see into the deepest,darkest corners of his soul..

He lost himself looking into her eyes,the window-escape plan long forgotten.

Kagome broke the silence,"Please,dont go,"she said tightening her grip on his arm.

"Im really sorry about that.Honestly,i didnt mean it,its just that..I've never seen anyone eat like that.You're really hungry,and you dont have anywhere to go.Do you?"

"Why should you care?"Inuyasha wasnt going to just give in likethat,without a fight.

Kagome started."But-but anyone would do that!"

"Oh,yeah?You probably just wanted to have a freak to amuse yourself with!"

"W-wha-"

"I know how you people are!You see someone different from you and freak out.

Do you think you are the first?!"

"I dont un-"

"You just-"

"Quiet!"Kagome cried,clamping a hand over his mouth.

"I just wanted to help you.I *dont* think you are weird,ok?"

Inuyasha pushed down his blush and wrigglred away from her grasp.

Then he smelt salt.

He looked at the girl,her head was down,hair covering her face.

She was crying.Oh Gods!What kind of monster *was* he?!

"-hey!I hate it when girls cry.Stop it."

He said nervously.Seeing it was no use,he came up to her,cupping her chin in his hands and wiping her tears with his thumbs.

Kagome smiled triumphantly.

"So you'll stay then?"
*Sweatdrop*

"I never said that..-_-'"

Lower lip starts trembling.

Oh great.Blackmail.

Eyes start watering.

Kami save me.

Brows come up and together.

Oh hell...

"Yeah,i suppose,so stop that!"

"Youppi!"

Kagome pulled him into a hug,barely coming up to his chin,causing him to shiver slightly at such a close contact.
"By the way."She looked him in the eyes in that 'I see all' eery manner.

"I still dont know your name.Im Kagome."She gave him a toothy smile.

"Er..Inuyasha.."He was always ashamed of his weird name.

And to tell it to that kawai girl with a beautiful name..

"Wow,"Breathed Kagome."What a cool name!Are you sure its your REAL name,not making up or anything..'Cause..You know..'Dog Demon'.."

Inuyasha knew this moment would come sooner or later,even though he preferred the latter,obviously Fate fancied the first more.

"Well,I *am*."

"...You're what?.."

'Shimatta!Why does she have to be so dense?'

"Kagome,Im half Youkai."

"...."

"...."

"........"

"Well,arent you gonna run away,scream,call the police?Youkai are dangrous,arent they?"

"So?"She bowed her head to one side."I know you're not."

"Anyway."She said to the bewilered Inuyasha."We gotta get you some proper clothes.."She said nodding at Inuyashas worn-away boxers,he blushed a deep shade of crimson and dived under the covers.

Kagome went over to her wardrobe,after a long period of digging,cursing and blushing at various parts of her clothing extracted from unexpected places,she found her old extra large T-shirt and threw it at Inuyasha,who put it on and walked over to her while she dug through her clothes for something to cover the hanyous lower body.

He stood by her side,watching her intently,

"Do you think you'll find anything?.."He asked doubtfully.

"No idea.Honest.Although there was that large pair of jeans mum got me.."

She mumbled more to herself than to Inuyasha.

'Mum keeps getting me 'L' when im 'S'..-_-*'

"Ah,here!Try these on.I think they'll be ok."She tossed him the most loathed piece of clothing she ever possesed and turned around to study the wall.

She heard him grunt and pant,hardly supressing her giggles.

"Are you soon,there?"She asked.

"%!@#!*&^%$#@+)(_&^3%%#$$@^&%&**^!!!!!!"

"Ok,whatever."She turned around just in time to see him zip her pants.

Man that *was* tight.

Not *too* tight though.She'd seen tighter.

She stared at him,unable to look away for a few seconds,'oh my..'..

He was just too damn sexy to let other girls see him.

"What?!Do I look *that* horrible?!"He growled,blushing just slightly.

'He's so innocent..'

"No,you look ok,but will you be able to..Err..Actually *walk* in these?.."

Inuyasha winced."Keh,who cares."

*KNOCK-KNOCK!!*

'Eeek!'

"Kagome,dear,"Came Ms.Higurashis worried voice."Are you ok in there?"

"Yes,mum,im fine-"

"Are you sure?How is your period?What happened?"

OOOHHH MYYY GGGGOOODDD!!!!!Not in front of *HIM*!!

"Im fine mum,Im just perfect."

"Are you sure?You dont need-"

"IM FINE MUM!!"
"O-ok dear...I just passed by to say that Souta and Grandpa wanted to see the new movie,Menator 6..I think."

"Mum..Its Terminator 5.Ok,you guys just go,Im not exactly in the mood."

"Ok,dear "Said her mum.heading down the stairs and stopping half way dowm.

"Oh,by the way,Hojou-kun called,*sigh*,sorry,i didnt make it in time.Grandpa picked up.."

Kagome forgot that living organisms need oxygen to survive.

"What.Did.He.Tell.Him?.."

*SIGH*"Im so sorry dear.He said that you have the Bloody-"

"JIIII--SSSAAAANNN!!! Im gonna kill you!!"

Inuyasha flattened his ears in order to prevent the eardrums from bursting.

"Well,dear,im sure you will,take care now,we'll be back sometime in the afternoon.

*********

"Now,Inuyasha,we're going to the mall,and i sugget you cover..these"

She waved at his ears."Somehow,oh,i know."She put a black hat on his head,then pulled it off.

"We have to something about your hair,Inu-chan."

'INU-CHAN?'

"why?Is there something wrong with my hair,too?"He asked a bit hurt.

Kagome sighed,rolling her eyes."No,Inu-chan,well,we can suppose that your hair is dyed,but no one wears their hair that long."She eyed him critically.

'Damn,why cant *I* have such good hair..'

"It will attract uneccecary attention."Inuyasha had to agree.Kagome picked up a brush and..

About an hour later they were walking down the mall.

Inuyasha just wanted to bolt and hide somewhere deep and dark,he always avoided crowded places,especially the mall.He remembered coming here once.He gathered a huge crowd,and almost ended up being caught by the police.

He must've looked nervous,because Kagome looked at him worriedly,and took his hand in hers,causing a pleasant warmth and comfort flood his body.

After about two hours of only in the DVD shop,Inuyasha knew that the worst thing ever was to go shopping with a girl.

Well,he *was* now wearing a new pair of trainers and shades,but he didnt think that it was actually worth it.

As they left the bookstore,with countless sketch-pads,pens,pencils,paper and other things he didnt want to think about,because he was the one carrying it all,

a tall,bown haired boy called Kagomes name.

**********Hojous perspective****************

Higurashi,who was supposed to be dying of some kind of terrible disease,called

'Bloody Head-to-Toes' as her grandfather said,had just exited a bookshop,I called her and ran to her.

Only then did i nitice she had 'company'.

Behind her walked a guy,about the same height as me.Maybe taller.

He's wearing *very* tight jeans..And has a silvery braid till his behind,a tight sweat-shirt shows his very fit body.

Good Gods.

I dont stand a chance.

*********************Inuyashas perspective*******

Kagome waved at Hojou,making me grwl slightly,luckily i caught myself before I got too loud.

'What is *it* with me?'

"Higurashi,"Smiled the sickly intruder."How are you feeling?Your Grandpa-"

"Oh,never mind him,I wasnt in time to pick the phone up so he just made this up.I have no idea.What are you doing here anyway?"

"Well,since you ditched me once again,i thought i might take a walk."

Kagome blushed.

'What the Hell did he mean when-Hey,why do i care?'

"And who is this?"Asked the Homo,whatever guy.

"Is he your...Your date?"

Kagome blushed,"Oh,he's no one special.Just a friend."

'Nobody special.Nobody special.It hurt as if i had just recieved a hard blow in my chest.Or something worse.What did I expect anyway?..Nobody special..'

"Well,gotta go,Hojou-kun!Yeah,see ya!"

They were walking in silence for some time,then Kagome turned to Inuyasha,placing a small hand on his chest.

"Now.Whats wrong?"She asked,only to be iterrupted by a bunch of chattering school-girls.

"Kagome!Hey,how are you?Where have you been?Are going on a date with Hojou-kun finally?"As Kagome struggled to answer all the questions at once,"Hey!Kagme-chan!

Whos that with you here?Is he your *boyfriend*?Is *this* what you've been hiding from us?Well,who is it?!"

"Umm..Err.."

"Im no one special."Said Inuyasha,trying to sound as calm as possible.

Everyone looked at him with huge eyes.Including Kagome.

"Ano..Girls-we gotta be going now.."Kagome grabbed his hand and started running,

dragging Inuyasha behind her,startling the passers-by.

As soon as they were out of Kagomes friends eyeshot,Kagome turned around sharply,looking at Inuyasha crossly.

"What is the meaning of that?!"She demanded.

Inuyasha was comlpletely confused.

"W-Well,*you* said I was no one special..When you were talking to that Homo guy.."

Kagome just looked at him wide eyed,then burst out laughing.

Now Inyasha was completely and utterly confused.

"Oh my,oh my..Inu-chan.When i said that you were no one special,I meant that..

That we're not *lovers*,thats all..And his name is *Hojou*,not *Homo*..Oh my..

If anyone at school heard that.."

Inuyasha was about to say something back,when hw caught a scent.

"Shit..Kagome-"

"Yo,shitty dog."
