Suspicion Chapter One

 

Running in the forest, shivering with fear, she frantically searches for a place to hide. Swiftly she ducks down into a hole in an old oak. She sighs with relief for being out of sight. She hears the crunching of someone's footsteps coming closer and closer. They stop right in front of her, then turn and walk off. Slowly she drifts off to sleep.

~ The Dream ~

Wildly she runs into a pitch -dark tunnel. From what she is running, she doesn't know. She hears piercing cries of help behind her, but she cannot stop. She keeps running till she sees the end of the tunnel. Suddenly, someone appears in front of the tunnel. She has no time to stop or turn around. The person jumps in front of her, drags her off to an unknown destination. It is then she realized, that the screams she heard were her own.

~ End of Dream ~

 

 

She suddenly awoke with beads of sweat running down her face. Seeing that it is morning, she climbed out of her hiding spot. She clumsily searched for breakfast. After hours of walking, finding nothing to eat, she stumbled across a small village in a clearing. She walked through the village and spotted a market. Sneakily she stole a couple of fruits from a stand. After she ate her makeshift breakfast. She decided to explore the town. While she walked down the street, she heard footsteps behind her. She walked faster and so did the footsteps. All of the sudden, a pair of unknown hands were on her shoulders. She inhaled deeply trying to calm herself down when…
