[ P - Pre-Teen ]
What's up my peeps! It's time for another installment of Sweet Potato Pie. For all my fans who have come over from fanfiction.net, I wanna say thanks . I got much love for yall.
Lawyer: Yeah, right! You went around begging for people to read your stories and you know it.
Angel: Man, you need to quit hatin' just because all these people love me and your momma won't even return your calls.
Lawyer: You know you dead wrong for that. My momma loves me just fine and I'll have you know she's just on vacation.
Angel: Yeah, at least that's what she told you. I just saw your momma yesterday. She told me that she was getting sick of you calling her all the time and that she thinks you need a girlfriend, bad.
Lawyer: Yeah, well… Yeah well you waste your time on these over drawn out disclaimers just to tell people that you still don't own Inuyasha and you never will, so there!
Angel: Yeah, but at least I got a man.
Lawyer: Who? Jesse? That boy hasn't called you in weeks and he ain't gonna , either! Plus, he didn't call you
when you were in New York either.
Angel: *Starts crying*
Lawyer: Stop crying, I could get disbarred.
Angel: *Still crying*
Lawyer: *Sigh* Here *Pulls out an Inuyasha plushie
Angel:*Snatches plushie from Lawyer* Ha! I knew that would get you!
Lawyer: Hey! You were faking it?
Angel: Yeah and you fell for it. Face it, you're a sucker.
Lawyer: Just get on with the stupid story.
Chapter 11
Two days later, Inuyasha and Miroku were stacking their bags into Kagome's coat closet.
“I swear, Inuyasha, if this weren't for my best friend, I'd kill you,” Miroku grumbled as a stack of hats fell on his head.
“You could always sleep in the basement, ya know,” Inuyasha said nonchalantly. He helped Miroku put the hats back then walked over to the couch.
“Are you kidding me? Have you seen the basement? There is stuff left over from the last people who lived here.” Miroku rolled his eyes and sat down next to his friend.
“Well then, you really should stop complaining.” Just then, Kagome and Sango walked in carrying trays of snacks in for the boys.
“Sorry you guys have to stay in the living room, but I guess one of you could stay in Souta's room,” Kagome offered.
“I'll take it!” Miroku exclaimed as he jumped over the couch.
“Hold it!” Sango said, grabbing the back of Miroku's shirt. “I have a better idea. How about we double up, Kagome and I can share a room and Inuyasha and Miroku can have my room.”
“That's a great idea,” Kagome agreed. “But, wait. I don't have enough beds in the house for that.”
“Well, I could always share a bed with Sango,” Miroku suggested. Sango gave him a death glare and smacked him upside the head.
“It was just a suggestion!”
“I can have two more beds here in a couple of hours,”Inuyasha said, taking out his cell phone.
“You don't have to do that, Inuyasha,” Kagome protested.
“Yes, I do. I am not sharing a bed with Miroku.”
“Yeah, and I'm thrilled at the prospect of waking up next to you every morning,” Miroku retorted, nursing his sore head.
“Ok, but I'm paying you back for it, alright?” Kagome told Inuyasha.
“That's fine with me,”Inuyasha said as he dialed the number to `Sleepers Mattress Co.'
“So, We have three hours before Souta gets out of school, how about we start moving our stuff into our rooms?”
“Oh, yeah, Kagome. That sounds like so much fun,” Sango said rolling her eyes.
“Oh, come on , Sango, it's not like we have that much stuff to move.” Kagome turned and led the small group upstairs.
Two hours and several trips up the stairs later, they were finished and ready for the beds to arrive. They sat around the living room waiting for the delivery men to arrive when suddenly Kagome started laughing hysterically.
“What's the matter,Kagome,” Inuyasha asked his girlfriend.
“I was just thinking about how this time last year I almost didn't buy this house because it was too big, and now, I'm thinking I didn't get a big enough house after all.” Sango, Miroku, and Inuyasha stared at Kagome for a minuet before they joined in her mirth. This was how the delivery men found the four friend when they brought the beds over.
