Authors Notes: Well-my very first fanfiction. I hope it will turn out decent and will contain no grammaticalerrors. I plan for this story to only have around 6 or 7 chapters. The overall plot to this storyis that the Inu group is taking a long break from adventuring. Shippo gets very bored, and decides to fill his time eating a ton of food that Kagome brings from her time. It gets to the point where Shippo is stealing food, and through a series of chain events-Shippo enters the world of sex without even knowing he is doing anything perverted. Well, enjoy! (And PLEASE review my chapters-I can only improve myself if I am told what I am doing wrong)

Chapter 1: Boredom

 

Shippo grunted deeply and folded his small arms as he sat down by the vivacious campfire. It was only three days in-yet to the young kitsune it had felt like an eternity of pure torture. Against his will-Inuyasha and the others, only days before, had unanimously decided to take an extended hiatus on their hunt for Naraku. Everybody, that is to say every adult in the group, had an extensive list of errands and chores that urgently needed to be completed. Sango's weapons had grown dull over the course of the past few weeks, so she, along with Kirara, headed off to the remains of her village to repair her deadly arsenal. Miroku, distracting his mind off of women for a second, remembered that this was the time of year when his wind tunnel required another precise stitching. So he, following the same manner as Sango & Kirara, sped off towards Mushin's temple. To add salt to the wound-even Kagome was going to be preoccupied with her schoolwork-only being able to drop in once every few days or so. She (Actually being concerned about how Shippo felt) tried to reassure him that this hiatus would be a week at most-but even Shippo could tell that her kind words bore no truth to them. To Shippo, this was his absolute worst nightmare-being stuck with only Inuyasha for a week or even longer than that. Even worse, the young kitsune had not developed any type of hobbies or games to keep his mind off of the situation. In others words, Shippo was bored as he had ever been.

As the light of the campfire danced amongst the trees, Shippo contemplated exactly how he was going to replace a week's worth of excitement. Unlike other normal children his age, Shippo had never experienced “personal” or “free” time. Between the death of his father and the ever-ongoing manhunt for Naraku, every day Shippo was busy as a bee-and never had the time to develop methods of keeping himself entertained. `Ugh…I can't take this much longer…I need to find something fun to do' Shippo thought to himself as he scratched his head. For minutes upon end Shippo attempted to think of something-anything he could do to distract him from this madness. Then, a light bulb came on in his head “Hey…didn't Kagome leave some treats from her time? I wonder what they taste like…” even as Shippo muttered this-in his mind he had already come to a conclusion. Getting up from the ground surrounding the campfire, Shippo crept his way over the light blue pack back Kagome had left behind. Shaking with intangible eagerness-Shippo carefully unzipped the vessel-and peered inside. His eyes grew to the size of diamonds as he gazed upon a snack-feast fit for a king. Oddly shaped foods made up the volume of the large book bag-every color, texture, and flavor Shippo had never seen or heard of before. Trying to come out of his shock-Shippo licked his lips and rubbed his hands together “Ohh…Kagome-you are my hero!” Shippo giggled as he dumped out the packages all over the musty ground. As he tore open the first bag, he couldn't help but think that maybe, just maybe, this break wasn't such a bad thing after all.

Next chapter: Shippo's food intake is controlled by Inuyasha-so Shippo decides to do something desperate to get what he wants…
