Well, the next day at school she was running late, and when she got to class and told Rin why she was late, Inu Yasha told her never to be late again because he thought Kouga had gotten her. After class she found him in the hall and had asked him if he was worried about he. He gave his typical `feh' response, and she said `thought so' and kissed his cheek. Kagome was going to apologize for that at lunch because she thought he would have been mad, but when she was about to apologize for it when he showed up, he kissed her. Wednesday morning at school, the six teens once again met in the parking lot before going inside the building. Rin was back to her normal self, bouncing around incessantly. Although, Sess was the only one to know why she wouldn't be normal. The six of them walked inside, the three girls in front of the three guys, talking about the mall.

"We should meet at the mall at like ten or something, so we can have plenty of time to shop." Rin said.

"Definitely." Sango agreed as she unwrapped a lollypop she stole from Miroku.

Kagome nodded her agreement and said, "What dress are you going to wear, Rin? You said that you already had one, right?"

Rin grinned. "It was my moms." She told them what it looked like, causing both the girls to pout, saying they wished their own mothers had clothes as pretty as that.

At lunchtime, Rin showed up with a bunch of paper hats that she made from stolen construction paper from the teachers lounge. She put on the orange one and announced to her friends that they had to wear theirs, too. She put the dark blue one on Sess, and he sat down and shook his head. Rin handed Kagome a green one and Sango a pink one, which they both happily put on. Miroku laughed at Sess until Rin put a purple one on his head.

"Pretty!" She exclaimed happily.

Miroku blanched. "Pretty? Oh man, that's not cool." He proceeded to take it off, but a glare from Sango stopped him.

Rin turned to Inu Yasha with a red paper hat and said, "And last but not least, Inu Yasha!"

He quickly moved his head. "No way in hell am I wearing a paper hat."

Rin pouted and she turned to Kagome. "Make him listen!"

Kagome giggled and stood up. Inu Yasha crossed his arms in front of his chest and said, "Feh."

She grinned and walked over to him. Putting her arms around his neck, she gently lowered herself onto his lap. Inu Yasha's eyes widened and his hands slowly snaked to her lower back and thigh.

"Wear it for me. Please?" She whispered seductively in his ear. Inu Yasha growled and gently squeezed her leg. Kagome giggled and held her hand out to Rin. Rin happily placed the hat in her hand, and Kagome set it on Inu Yasha's head. She kissed the tip of his nose and murmured, "Pretty."

Inu Yasha growled at her again and gave her a harsh kiss. Kagome giggled into the kiss and moved to stand up, but Inu Yasha held onto her. "You can stay right here." He whispered huskily into her hear, turning her around so she was facing the table. Kagome giggled and leaned back against his chest. "Fine fine, I will."

Rin grinned at the pair of them. She took Kagome's former seat and patted her leg saying, "Come on Sessy."

Sango nearly shot pop through her nose and Miroku cracked up. Sess stared at his petite girlfriend and shook his head. "Rin you've already go me wearing a paper hat. I'm not going to sit on you lap."

She laughed. "Hey that rhymed!"

Sess shook his head and chuckled.

After lunch, Rin and everyone else walked down to language class together. She would step on their heels if they tried removing their hats, so the six of them walked into class wearing ridiculous hats. A few people giggled, but a glare from Inu Yasha silenced them immediately.

The rest of the day was uneventful, except for when Inu Yasha became fed up with his hat and tore it in half with his teeth. Rin pouted, so Sess smacked the back of his head, and Kagome just laughed at the whole ordeal. Miroku and Sango watched from the sidelines, wrapped in each other's arms. They laughed at their insane friends and then went back to giving each other gentle kisses.

They all walked outside to their cars and drove home, both Kagome and Sango getting phone calls from Rin reminding them that they were going shopping on Saturday.

The rest of the week passed by in a blur for the six teens. Saturday was eagerly looked forward to by Kagome, Sango and Rin. So when school ended on Friday, they jumped for joy and agreed to meet at the North entrance of the mall at ten.

Saturday morning, Kagome quickly hopped out of bed. She ate breakfast, took a shower, and quickly dressed in khakis capris and a red tank top. She hopped in her rarely used car after a quick goodbye to her family and drove down to the mall. Sango and Rin were already there waiting for her. Sango was wearing baggy black hip hugger pants and a white wife-beater, while Rin was wearing blue shorts and a pink shirt with the Happy Bunny on the front saying, "you smell like butt".

They all happily greeted each other and linked arms, walking inside the mall. Rin happily tugged them towards a store with really great dresses and began pointing out one's that she thought were cute. "It's entirely up to you, but since I don't get to buy a dress I'm just going to talk." Rin stated.

"When do you not talk?" Sango mumbled under her breath as she looked at a light pink dress. Rin stuck her tongue out at her and giggled.

Kagome and Sango tried on a numerous amount of dresses. Even Rin tried on some dresses, but mainly the large, poofy, ridiculous looking ones, just for fun. Kagome was currently wearing a teal colored dress. It hugged her torso and flared down at the waist, going all the way to the floor. Two spaghetti straps her the dress up at her shoulders, and a design with imitation diamonds was embedded in the dress. And to top it all off, she couldn't zip up the back of the dress.

As much as she stretched and yanked her arms behind her, the zipper was in such a place that she couldn't get it. She huffed angrily and carefully poked her head out of her changing room. "Rin? Sango? Hello, guys?"

"Hello." A voice from another changing room spoke, and a girl poked her head around to look at Kagome. She was probably a few years older than Kagome, with really short hair. She was wearing a very short dress, which showed off plenty of her cleavage.

Kagome gave a sheepish grin. "Uh, hi."

"Do you need something?" She stepped out of her changing room and placed her hands on her hips, looking curiously at Kagome.

"I was looking for my friends to see if they could zip me up." She answered, looking around.

"I can help you." She walked over to Kagome and looked at her expectantly.

Kagome turned around slowly. The girl grabbed Kagome's thick hair in her hand and gently pushed aside before zipping the dress up.

"Thanks." Kagome mumbled, turning around.

"I'm Yura." The girl replied, holding out her hand.

"Kagome. It's nice to meet you." Kagome shook her hand and smiled.

"You have nice hair." She said abruptly.

"What? Oh, uh, thanks." Kagome blushed slightly. She had nice hair? O…kay?

"What kind of conditioner do you use?"

"Uh, it's-"

"Because it feels like you use Herbal Essences. Am I right?" Kagome nodded dumbly and Yura beamed. "Thought so."

"How did you know?"

Yura smiled. "I know hair." With that, she turned back around and entered her changing room. "Nice dress, by the way."

"You too." Kagome called back. She shook her head, silently giggling, and went off to find her friends. She found then arguing over a dress.

"Rin, I'm not going to wear a peacock dress!" Sango said, exasperated.
"Why not? It would be so much fun!" Rin pouted, shaking the dress. It indeed looked like a peacock, with large, imitation feathers sticking up in the back.

Kagome laughed and they looked over at her. "Ooo Kagome. That's so pretty!" Rin stated immediately, forgetting the peacock dress.

"It looks great Kag, you should definitely get it." Sango agreed.

Kagome twirled in a circle. "I think so too." She giggled and said, "So what did you pick out, Sango?"

Sango shrugged and said, "I saw a red one over there that was pretty."

Kagome laughed. "So what are you doing over here?" She grabbed her hand and tugged her in the direction that she was looking. "Where is it?"

Sango walked over to the red dress. It was a full length and strapless. The back was lace up like a corset, showing off plenty of skin.

Rin gasped. "It's so pretty! Go try it on, Sango!"

Sango picked up the dress and was pushed in the direction of the changing rooms by her two friends. As Sango changed, Kagome and Rin discussed Kagome's dress.

"It's such a pretty dress, Kagome! Are you going to get it?"

Kagome looked down at the dress and smiled. "I think so."

Sango peeked out of the changing room and said, "Someone needs to lace me up."

Rin walked inside the changing room with Kagome behind her and began lacing up the tie in the back. When she finished, she instructed Sango to turn around. "The dress looks great, Sango." Rin said happily.

Kagome nodded. "Miroku is going to love it."

Sango laughed. "I definitely like this one. It's lots better than the peacock dress." Kagome and Sango laughed and Rin crossed her arms.

"Peacock dresses are funny!"

Sango and Kagome laughed again before changing back into their original clothes. The purchased the dresses and asked the employee if they could leave them there to pick them up later. She agreed, and they happily stored their dresses in the back before wandering into other stores for shoes, jewelry, bags, and hair accessories.

The first stop was the shoes store. Rin just happened to find a pair of silver shoes that she fell in love with. They had an open toe and 5-inch heels. It strapped together right beneath her ankle, and again right above the ankle. She quickly put them on stood up excitedly. "They match my dress!" Sango and Kagome both complimented her on the shoes, and Rin hurriedly pulled them off. "Yay!"

Kagome picked out a pair of black shoes with four-inch heels. Two straps hooked right above her toes and right above her ankle. It had an open toe like Rin's, but had a different design. Sango, after much consideration, finally decided on a pair of red shoes that also matched her dress. They had 5-inch heels, with a closed toe and open heel. The strap hooked above her ankle.

They purchased their shoes and hurried off to the next store they could find. Rin insisted that they get bags, so she dragged them to a purse store. The woman inside was very eager to help them, and pulled several different purses off the wall for each other them. Rin picked out a tiny silver hand purse. Sango decided on a tiny red purse with a small chain that she could hold on to. Kagome was trying to decide between a tiny black purse with a shoulder strap, or an even tinier black purse with a small strap to hold on to. Finally after taking Rin's advice and doing `eeny meeny miny mo' she chose the tiny purse with the shorter strap.

In the next store, they were choosing accessories. Rin immediately grabbed a plastic tiara and insisted that they all wear them.

"Uh, Rin, why don't we wear them at some other time?" Sango asked, holding back her laughter.

Kagome giggled as Rin pouted. "But tiara's are pretty!"

"Right! Right, they are. So, we'll wear them at… prom." Kagome said quickly.

Rin grinned. "Okay!"

They walked over to a section full of hair accessories and jewelry. Rin picked out some silver bangles for each wrist and large silver hoops for her ears. She found some tiny, sparkly, butterfly clips for her hair and bought a pack of them. Kagome bought a silver choker with a teardrop on the end of it, and a pair of beautifully decorated chopsticks for her hair. Sango was looking at a bunch of anklets when Rin suddenly picked up one that had cherries on it. Giggling, she help it up and said, "I think you should get this one, Sango."

Sango blushed and quickly grabbed it. "Oh shut up." She looked it over and shrugged slightly. "Well, it is pretty…" She ignored her laughing friends and decided to buy that and a unique looking hair holder. It was one where you wrap your hair in a bun and set in inside the beautifully decorated holder and place a stick through it to hold it in place. It had tiny ornaments hanging from the sides of it.

From there they ventured into a swimsuit store. They immediately picked out several different suits for each other and ran into separate changing stalls. Kagome came out wearing a dark blue, two-piece swimsuit. It had regular straps and had tiny shorts for the bottom. Sango was wearing a multi colored suit, same style as Kagome's, only with a bikini bottom. Rin had on a black suit with tiny shorts for a bottom and a tube top for the top.

Kagome and Sango immediately began laughing. "Rin, that thing is going to fall off!"

Rin giggled. "Wouldn't Sessy freak if I actually got this?"

They all laughed and decided that they didn't like any of the suits they were wearing. After many different suits of all different colors, styles, and sizes, they all finally found the perfect suits for themselves.

Kagome's suit was black with yellow flames on it, the flames outlined in a reddish orange. It was a bikini style bottom, and the top had straps around the neck and back. Sango's suit was dark purple with beads at the end of the straps tying it together. It was the same style as Kagome's. Rin's suit was bright orange. Same style as the other two, and had a shiny pink outline. They congratulated themselves, and each other, on their great buys, and exited the final store.

All in all, the girls spent nearly seven hours at the mall. Worn out but excited, they picked up their dresses from the first store they were at and drove down to a nearby pizza place. Once inside, they ordered the meat lovers pizza and sat around, talking happily.

"Think about it guys, we are going to the Bahamas in only a short time!" Sango exclaimed.

Kagome squealed and clapped her hands while Rin bounced in her seat. "I can't wait! This is going to be so much fun!"

When the pizza arrived they devoured it hungrily, still discussing the senior trip. "The essay thingy that we have to do while we're there is going to be so easy! All the culture and everything? Piece of cake." Kagome said.

Rin nodded. "Bu not for the guys, I bet. They could have it written down it one sentence. `It was cool'. Lazy!"

Sango laughed. "Who wants to be that they'll try and either copy ours or get us to do it for them?"

Kagome grinned. "Those dorks."

When they finished, they walked over to their cars. "Why don't you guys come over a few hours before the dance so we can get ready? My mom is going to want to take tons of photos. It'll be corny but fun." Kagome said as she took out her keys.

"Sounds great. The guys can pick us up at your house, too." Rin said.

Sango nodded. "Fun fun. See you guys later."

They all drove home and happily played with tier new stuff.

The last few weeks before the dance and senior trip went by incredibly slow for the six teens. The girls were also packing and repacking their suitcases, while the guys figured they'd pack before the dance. The place was going to leave Friday morning at 9:00 AM. The teens going on the trip were instructed to meet at the school two hours earlier to take the bus to the airport. But before all that was the dance. The dance that the girls had spent hours shopping for. The dance that Sess was planning something special.

Thursday after school, Rin and Sango went home with Kagome to get ready. They put on their dresses, helped each other with hair and make-up, and put on their jewelry and shoes. Sango and Kagome fell in love with Rin's dress, unable to believe that her mother actually wore something to pretty. Hours later, when they finally finished doing all of that, they carefully made their way downstairs. Kagome's mother had gotten all teary-eyed and insisted on single photos of all three, group photos, photos with the guys when they got there, and photos of all six of them.

After her second roll of just the girls, since the guys hadn't arrived yet, Kagome finally stopped her mother. "Mom, calm down! We're just going to a school dance!"

Her mother sniveled. "But tomorrow, you're leave for an entirely different country!"

Kagome giggled and hugged her mother. "Relax! We'll be fine."

She wiped the tears from her eyes and said, "You three look so grown up and beautiful! Come on, just a few more pictures till your dates are here."

They agreed, but sighed happily when the doorbell rang. Kagome's mother quickly ushered them out of the room and answered the door. Inu Yasha, Sess, and Miroku were all standing there, each holding flowers and wearing tuxes. They all were wearing the simple black tux, with bow ties and gray vests.

Kagome's mother got slightly teary-eyed as she let them into the house. "You boys look so nice."

Inu Yasha gave a lopsided grin. "Thanks Ms. H. This is Sess, my brother, and my friend Miroku."

"It's nice to meet the both of you. Kagome and the others are in the next room, but why don't I take your pictures first before we bring them out?" She immediately held up her camera and began clicking away at the startled boys.

A roll and a half later, Kagome's grandfather walked in. "Dear, Kagome and her friends sent me in here to tell you to knock it off. They said they are going to be late if you don't stop taking pictures."

Mr. Higurashi sighed and lowered her camera. "Okay okay. Get the girls so I can take a few group photos."

Kagome's grandfather left to tell the girls what she said, and Rin was the first one to enter the room. Sess gave a genuine smile and pulled her into a gentle hug. "You look beautiful." He murmured to her, handing her a single white rose.

Rin giggled and kissed his cheek. "So do you."

Ms. Higurashi took pictures of them together and then waited for the next girl to enter. Sango slowly walked over to them, a timid smile on her face. Miroku's jaw dropped and he held onto the red rose in his hand tightly. Sango walked over to him and giggled softly. "Earth to Miroku."

He straightened up suddenly and shook his head. "Uh, here." He handed her the red rose and she giggled again. "Thanks."

Ms. Higurashi took several pictures of them as well. When she finished, Inu Yasha handed her one of the flowers he was holding. A yellow rose. "This is for you, Ms. H." She smiled at him. "That's so sweet of you, Inu Yasha dear." He rubbed the back of his neck and grinned sheepishly. "No problem."

Suddenly, Kagome walked around the corner. She bit her lip nervously and held out her arms when she stepped in front of Inu Yasha. "How do I look?"

He cleared his throat several times before saying hoarsely, "Wow." Kagome giggled. Inu Yasha grinned and handed her a pink rose. She took it and gave a small smile, smelling it gently. Ms. Higurashi took pictures of the two of them, and then several pictures of all six of them together. Her father finally came back in to take the camera from her, enabling the teens to leave. "Have a good time." He called after them, holding the camera behind his back.

The teens all laughed and went down to the guy's cars. "We considered getting a limo, but we figured that's something we're supposed to do at prom." Miroku admitted as he held the door open for Sango.

Rin giggled and nodded. "This is good though, limo's sometimes smell like fish."

They all gave her a weird look, but she just jumped into Sess's car as he held the door open for her.

Kagome giggled and Inu Yasha opened the door for her as well. She turned around and said, "Seriously Inu Yasha, how do I look?"

Inu Yasha looked her up and down critically before saying, "You're fucking hot, but I once again, your mom would get pissed if she heard me say that."

Kagome laughed and got in the car.

The teens drove down to the school, which was already packed with students. They made their way to the gymnasium and walked inside, looking at the surroundings. Everything was decorated like a typical school dance. Incredibly corny, but at the moment they wouldn't have changed anything. A fake balcony was set up at one of the door, bathed in the moonlight. Tables were set up around the edge of the room, and a snack table was in the front of the room. The teens immediately sat down at one of the tables, watching people walk by. Some were dancing, some were making out, and some were fighting.

Sess drummed his fingers on the table nervously. Rin placed her hand on top of his gently and said, "Everything okay, Sessy?"

He jumped slightly and nodded. "Absolutely. Everything's peachy. I love you, Rin."

Rin grinned. "I love you too Sessy."

Inu Yasha stood up. "Fuck this, I'm dancing." He grabbed Kagome's hand and helped her to her feet. "Come on, sitting is boring." Kagome laughed and followed him onto the floor.

Miroku sighed. "I suppose me vulgar friend has a point." Sango grinned as he stood up and held his hand out to her. "Come on, my lady in red."

Sango gasped and flicked his head. Try as she might she couldn't suppress the giggle that broke through, anyways. "You're such an ass." She said as she grabbed his hand. Miroku grinned and led the way onto the floor.

Rin giggled and watched them go before saying, "Lets dance, Sessy!"

Sess nodded and stood up. He nervously took Rin's petite hand and they walked onto the dance floor. He carefully wrapped his arms around her, pulling her tightly against him when she wrapped her arms around his neck. Kagome and Inu Yasha, and Sango and Miroku were doing the same thing, only they were nowhere near as nervous as Sess was.

Rin and Sess swayed gently on the dance floor, resting in each other's arms. He kissed the side of her head and Rin tightened his grip. "I love you, Sessy." She murmured quietly into his body.

Sess gave a small smile. "I love you too."

Sango and Miroku were wrapped in each other's arms, occasionally giving each other tiny kisses. "Think I could put my hands on your ass without getting in trouble?" He asked softly against her lips.

Sango laughed. "You're such a pervert. Don't even try it." Miroku stuck out his bottom lip and Sango laughed at him. "Just be romantic! Remember our first date? That was romantic."

Miroku grinned and pulled her tighter against him. "Alright alright. But tomorrow, I get all the gropes I want."

Sango rolled her eyes and laughed. "Just shut up and dance."

Kagome looked up and gave Inu Yasha a quick kiss on the cheek. He looked down at her and smiled. "Excited about tomorrow?"

She grinned and nodded her head. "I've never been out of the country. This will be so much fun!"

Inu Yasha chuckled at her enthusiasm and kissed her gently. "It's just going to be a bitch having to get up so early to get here on time."

Kagome nodded. "Sleep on the bus."

He smiled. "Will you sleep with me?"

Kagome laughed and kissed him again. "You're so weird."

The six teens danced to several songs. They weren't fast paced, so they didn't tire as quickly as they did at the club. Sess wanted to stop dancing after half a song, but he knew that Rin wanted to dance, so he bit his tongue.

When they all finally sat back down, they guys went to get some punch. Rin leaned forward and said, "Sessy is acting weird."

"What do you mean?" Kagome asked, leaning forward too.

Rin shrugged slightly. "He's just kind of, spacey."

"Have you asked him about it?" Sango asked her.

Rin shook her head. "Not yet. I was thinking, if he was still weird when we were going home, I'd ask him then."

Her friends agreed with her, and the conversation ended as their boyfriends came back. Sess was usually very quiet, but even Sango and Kagome noticed that he was a bit more silent than usual.

However, they didn't have much time to dwell on it as the principal came out to make a speech. "Good evening, ladies and gents. I know that those of you that are going on this class trip are very excited about tomorrow, but I want to remind all of you to behave yourselves. Jus because you won't be under the watchful eyes of your guardians, or me, doesn't mean that you can act terribly. We want to be welcome in the Bahamas. So treat everything there with respect. Enjoy the rest of the night!" He waved slightly and the students clapped politely.

The six of them sat around the table for a while, talking and joking like they normally did. Sometime a couple would stand up to dance briefly, but for the most part they sat around talking. The most exciting event of the night so far was when a couple of senior guys that weren't going on the trip ran through the gymnasium stark naked. They ran around the tables, calling and yelling loudly, evading the teachers trying to catch them. Only when they ran outside and slipped on the dewy grass were the teachers able to get a hold of them. Not that they wanted to touch naked guys, however.

The three girls laughed hard as the guys chuckled. Rin spoke up suddenly, "I don't see how they had the guts to do that, considering they were so small."

Sango choked on her punch, laughing. "Very true."

"Give them a break, it's slightly chilly." Kagome said, giggling.

The guys roared with laughter. Even Sess got a kick out of the conversation.

As midnight rolled closer and closer, Sess finally stood up and took Rin's hand. "Let's go for a walk."

Rin smiled and stood up, following him to the fake balcony. He put his arms around her as they looked around them. Sess leaned down and murmured in her ear, "I love you so much, Rin."

She smiled. "I love you, too."

Sess took a deep breath and was about to reach into his pocket when suddenly, fireworks went off, illuminating the sky. Rin gasped and said, "How pretty!"

Sess inwardly groaned. His moment appeared to be ruined. Students were running out to look at the fireworks, and Rin was transfixed on the sky. Sango and Kagome had tugged Miroku and Inu Yasha outside to look at the sky, too.

Rin leaned back against Sess and said, "Isn't this pretty, Sessy?"

He chuckled as he reached into his pocket. Now or never. "Yeah Rin, real pretty." He grabbed hold of her waist and turned her around, completely ignoring the students that had jumped over the balcony to run around on the grass. He took hold of Rin's hand and got down on one knee, his heart beating fast. "Rin, I love you. You are my life, my world, my everything. My day begins only because of you. At night, you're all that's on my mind. You have taken over my heart, mind, and soul, and I would be honored if you would be my wife. Will you marry me?" He opened the tiny velvet box and waited, nearly shaking from anticipation.

Rin's eyes widened when he got down on one knee, and she gasped when he showed her the box. With trembling hands, she gently took hold of the box and tears welled up in her eyes. "Oh Sessy, I… Yes, of course I will!"

Sess's grin was so wide his face nearly split in two. He took the ring out of the box and put it gently onto Rin's hand. She choked back a sob as he pulled her into a tight hug, happiness flowing out of the both of them.

Kagome and Sango watched the whole thing happen, tears of happiness coming to their eyes. Miroku and Inu Yasha watched in shock.

"Did you know about this?" Miroku asked quietly.

Inu Yasha shook his head. "No, you?"

Miroku shook his head too and said, "Well, they're in love, you know?" He glanced at Sango, smiling.

Inu Yasha nodded and looked over at Kagome. "Yeah, I know."

Sess and Rin held onto each other for a good ten minutes. Tears continued to pour out of her eyes, and neither one of them could stop smiling. "Is this why you've been weird all night?" Rin asked suddenly.

Sess chuckled. "Yeah. I didn't know when or how or where to ask you."

Rin grinned. "This was absolutely perfect. I can't believe it. I'm so happy, Sessy!"

Sess closed his eyes and kissed the top of her head. "Me too, Rin."

Kagome and Sango walked arm in arm back into the gymnasium, their boyfriends behind them. "That was so beautiful." Kagome said in a shaky voice.

Sango nodded her head. "That was amazing! I never would have guess that he would have proposed to her. Though, we should have known. They're so in love!"

Kagome giggled. "I know! Rin must be so happy."

A few minutes later, Rin came back into the gymnasium, holding hands with Sess. However, Miroku and Inu Yasha pulled Sess from Rin, so she hurried over to her friends. "Sessy proposed!" She burst out.

"Oh my gosh Rin, that's great!" Kagome exclaimed, pretending she didn't know.

"I'm so happy for you!" Sango added. They all hugged and Sango asked, "What does the ring look like?"

Rin looked startled. "I didn't even look!" Holding up her hand, all three of them gasped.

"Holy hell." Kagome said slowly.

"That's one big ass ring." Sango blurted out.

Rin laughed. Kagome said loudly, "God Rin, is your hand weighed down from that baby?"

Sango and Kagome both looked closer at the ring. "It's absolutely beautiful, Rin. And it fits you so damn well!" Sango said happily.

Rin looked closely at the ring and said, "I'd be happy with a paper ring, but this really is amazing."

All three girls hugged again and sat down so Rin could tell them what Sess had said.

"So you're engaged now." Inu Yasha stated.

Sess nodded and Miroku said, "Congrats, man."

Sess gave a weak smile. "Thanks."

Inu Yasha thumped him on the back. "Seriously bro, this is great. Have you told mom and dad?"

Sess shook his head. "I didn't want to say anything, just in case she said no."

Miroku scoffed. "What the hell made you think Rin would say no?"

Sess shrugged. "Ah, I don't know, I just didn't want to look like a chump."

Inu Yasha laughed. "Well man, this is great. What's the rock look like?"

Sess motioned inside. "I'll show ya."

The three of them walked over to their girlfriends. Rin immediately pulled Sess into a tight hug. He wrapped his arms around her and said, "Let's see the ring, baby."

Rin held out a shaking hand to Inu Yasha and Miroku, who both whistled and stepped back. "Damn! That's a big fucking rock!" Inu Yasha said loudly.

Miroku laughed and said, "Look, it's the iceberg that the Titanic hit!"

Rin giggled and pulled her hand back. "Would you two hush up?"

Inu Yasha grinned and stepped forward, holding out his arms. "Congrats, Rin."

Rin giggled and hugged him tightly. Miroku held her arms out too, and she hugged him before going back to Sess.

The rest of the evening, the six of them sat around talking. Although, Rin and Sess were off in their own world. Naturally. When midnight struck, the gymnasium began clearing out. They all walked out to their cars, although Inu Yasha was giving Kagome a piggyback ride because she refused to put her shoes back on.

Sess dropped Rin off at her house, giving her a heated kiss before she got out of the car. "I'll tell Daddy when we're back from the Bahamas." She whispered to him.

"Why don't you tell him now, or before you go tomorrow?" He asked her.

"He left this morning. We get back at the same time." She told him.

Sess gave her one last kiss and she said, "I'd ask you to stay the night, but I doubt we'd sleep, and we need to get up early tomorrow."

Sess chuckled. "Okay, I'll pick you up tomorrow morning." She nodded and stepped out of the car, walking into her house.

Inu Yasha carried Kagome up to her doorstep, chuckling as she feebly pushed against him. He set her down carefully and turned around to kiss her. She kissed him back, but pulled away before the kiss deepened too much. He growled at her and she giggled. "There will be plenty of time for that tomorrow. But for now, I'm tired."

He chuckled and said, "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow."

He gave her one last quick kiss before she let herself into her house.

Sango and Miroku silently walked upstairs Mushin's house, careful not to wake Mushin or Kohaku. Outside of Sango's door, Miroku nibbled on her neck gently. She giggled and pushed him back. "Go to bed." He grinned and reached for her door handle, but she removed his hand. "I mean your own bed."

He smirked. "Your bed is partly my bed, since we shared it."

She blushed and shook her head. "Good night, pervert."

"Good night, my lady in red."

Sango just laughed and shook her head, closing her bedroom door behind her.

The next morning was hectic for everyone. Kagome was running around her house trying to find a certain pair of shoes, while her suitcase lay opened and partially unpacked in the middle of her bedroom.

Rin dragged her suitcase out of her room and pushed it down the stairs. He bounced and nearly broke, and a servant came running towards her. "Rin, I told you I'd carry it for you!"

She laughed. "Nah, I've got it! But do me a favor and take care of Jaken for me?"

He chuckled. "Alright will." She giggled and slid down the banister.

Sess was trying to stay calm as he told his mother that he was engaged, all the while listening to Inu Yasha and their father scream at each other about which suitcase he was supposed to use.

Sango ran around Mushin's house, trying to make sure everything was packed. She opened up Miroku's door to make sure he was ready to find him still asleep.

"Get up you lazy ass!" She screamed, pulling the cover back.

Miroku groaned and rolled over. Sango kicked his butt, jerking him awake. "UP!" She yelled before running out of his room.

Inu Yasha and his father went to go pick up Kagome from her house. It was a struggle to release her from her mother's strong grip, but it was done. They drove down to the school, parking in front of the busses. Inu Yasha's father came so he could drive the car back to his house. The two of them got out and began unloading their stuff.

Sess and his mother went over to Rin's house to do the same thing. But when Sess began getting out of the car, Sakura stopped him and hurried up to the front door. She knocked, and when Rin answered, pulled her into a tight hug.

"I cannot tell you how pleased I am." She said to her quietly.

Rin giggled and hugged her back. "Me too!"

She sniveling girls talking giddily as Sess loaded Rin's stuff into the trunk. They drove down to the school and met Inu Yasha and Kagome.

Mushin drove a tired Miroku and a fuming Sango down to the school. Miroku still hadn't woken up when Sango was ready to go, and when she tried waking him, he groped her in front of Kohaku. Kohaku thought it was hilarious, but she was pissed the he was a sleep groper. Mushin chuckled quietly at the whole ordeal. At the school, he helped unload their stuff near their friends before saying goodbye and driving away.

Sakura and her husband had already left, leaving the teens standing around the busses, tired and waiting, unsure what to do as other students arrived.
