One was the waiter at the restaurant on Miroku and Sango's first date, and the other was the worker at the ice cream place. ~*Ayumi*~: teehee As a favor to a friend of mine (and several reviewers) I said there would be plenty of lemons while they were in the Bahamas. Young kids have stamina! lol When I say I want to touch every place in the world, I meant every country. Like, just touching the ground in every country, or at least as many as possible. And I'm getting up there since I've been traveling since I was 9 months old, but it's still hard because I' poor. Kagome made and unmade fists over and over as she sat on the sand nervously. Inu Yasha pulled his swim shorts up and helped her into her own swimsuit, silently thinking over what just happened. The condom broke. She might be pregnant. He shook his head trying not to dwell on that and helped Kagome to her feet. Wrapping his arms around her he steered her back to their stuff. They gathered up her towel and anything else that belonged to them or their friends and walked back to the hotel.

No words were spoken the entire time, neither knowing what to say. Inu Yasha opened his mouth a few times in the elevator, trying to think of something, anything, to say that might help the situation, but nothing came to mind. When they stepped out of the elevator they found Rin who was walking back from Sess's room.

"Hey Yash, hey Kagome."

They each greeted her pleasantly, trying to suppress the nervousness they felt. Inu Yasha walked down to his room and Kagome and Rin walked down to their room. Miroku left soon after they arrived, and the three girls showered and dressed for lunch. As the three of them did their hair and make-up in the bathroom, Rin glanced over at Kagome to see her normally happy face clouded with worry.

"Everything okay, Kag?"

Kagome looked up and blinked a few times. "Everything's great. Why?"

"You seem distracted or worried or something." Sango said as she put her hair up. Rin nodded. "You and Yash aren't fighting again, are you?"

Kagome forced out a laugh. "No no, we're over that. I've just got a stomachache or something."

Rin raised an eyebrow. "Or something?"

Kagome gave her best friends a smile and said, "I'm fine. Once I get some food in me, I'll be back to normal."

Her friends clearly didn't believe her, but they didn't press the matter, knowing that Kagome would volunteer the information when she felt the time was right.

After lunch, Rin grabbed Sess and dragged him to her room. He was looking forward to a repeat of the earlier event, but was thoroughly disappointed when she sat him down at the table by the window and stated, "Sessy, we need to talk wedding!"

He stared at her. "'We need to talk wedding'?"

She giggled. "You know what I mean!" Sitting down across from him she said, "Sessy, when do you want to get married?"

He leaned back in the chair. "Whenever you want to."

Fidgeting slightly Rin replied, "I was hoping we could get married in June."

He blanched. "June? June! That's just in a few months!"

Rin's lip quivered. "You don't want to get married soon?"

Quickly recovering, Sess replied, "Of course I want to get married, baby. And as soon as possible. But will we have everything ready by June?"

Rin gave a small smile. "I don't see why not."

Sighing, Sess leaned forward and gave her a small kiss. "Okay. Whatever makes you happy."

Rin giggled and wrapped her arms around his neck as she sat in his lap. Sighing happily she said, "Remember the first day we met, Sessy?"

He chuckled as he wrapped his arms around her body. "Like it was yesterday."

"Who'd of thunk it that we'd go from that, to being engaged." Rin said, laughing.

Sess grinned and kissed her cheek.

~|~Flashback~|~

Eleventh grader Rin walked down the halls with a textbook balancing on her head, her arms out, and singing the `Postman Pat' theme song. She grabbed the book and began twirling in a circle, not watching where she was going, or even caring. Suddenly, she bumped into a solid object, causing her to tumble to the floor. She looked up to see a guy, probably her same age, with long, silver hair looking down at her with a peeved expression.

"You threw off my funk!" Rin exclaimed as she picked herself back up. He just continued to stare. Rin stood on her tiptoes to attempt to be his same height and failed miserably. "Did you know that you are freakishly tall."

"I prefer to think of it as you are freakishly small." He finally answered her.

Rin faked a look of shock. "Oh, so the mysterious man can speak! So tell me Sparky, what's your name?"

He rolled his eyes. "Sess."

She grinned and held out her hand. "Rin! Nice to meet you, Sess!"

Sess shook her hand and said, "Well, as time consuming as this obnoxious fiasco was, I need to get to class."

Rin followed Sess down the hall and said, "What class?"

"If I tell you will you go away?"

"Nope."

Sess sighed and answered, "Science."

Rin grinned and said, "Me too!"

"You were going the wrong way for science. What year are you?"

"I'm a junior! I just moved here and this is my first day in this school and I have no idea where to go, so I figured I'd just wander around till my rescuer came and found me. And you did!"

Sess chose to ignore this and continued walking.

"Are you a junior too?"

Sess nodded and didn't answer.

Rin shook her head. "Well aren't you a Chatty-Cathy."

Sess stopped and look at her. "What?"

Rin giggled and said, "Look, science class! Thanks a google, Sess!"

Sess watched her walk into the classroom and followed a few seconds later when the bell rang. In the classroom, he saw Rin sitting next to the only empty seat left. Rin giggled and waved to him, causing him to roll his eyes and make his way over to her. Trying to pretend she wasn't there, Sess sat down and pulled out his science notes to begin studying. However, that's not exactly an easy task when the hyperactive, talkative, annoying, and cute girl next to you is braiding your hair. Whoa, what the hell, cute? Something's wring with me. Sess pulled his long silver hair from her tiny fingers and said in a tone that one would use with a child, "My hair. Don't touch."

Rin laughed and said, "It's so pretty!"

He sighed and looked down at his notes. Rin peeked over his shoulder and said, "Whatcha doing?"

Sess took a deep breath and muttered, "You're trying my patience, Flin."

"It's Rin!" She said haughtily.

"Whatever. Leave me alone."

"I can't."

"Why the hell not?"

"Because the blue mongoose won't let me!"

Sess opened his mouth to respond, but stopped. What the hell? "You're strange."

Rin stood up and bowed deeply. "Thank you, Sess!"

He tugged her back into her chair and said, "Have you always been this annoying?"

She tapped her chin thoughtfully and said, "I think so."

Sess shook his head and looked forward at the teacher who just walked in.

Sess walked out of the classroom at the end of the day fuming, with Rin following him, still talking excitedly.

"I'm so glad we're science partners, Sess!"

He sighed loudly and quickly walked down to his locker. "The only reason we're partners, Rin, is because you glued out shirts together and insisted that we were Siamese Twins that couldn't be separated!"

Rin giggled and picked at some of the dry glue on her shirt. "You sound angry."

He sighed again and didn't stop walking till he reached his locker. Rin leaned up against the locker next to his and said, "So, your house or mine?"

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"We've got a project to complete, right? So, your house or mine?" She said as she watched his handsome face.

"I don't care. You decide."

"Well, my house is empty, so it'd be easier to concentrate. Unless your house will be quiet too."

Sess shut his locker and put his backpack on. "I doubt it. My brother will be there, so he'll be yelling about one thing or another. Your house is fine."

Rin giggled and said, "Okay, want a ride to my house?"

"Fine, whatever."

Rin happily led the way to her car, and Sess's eyes widened as he saw the silver Viper. "This is your car?"

Rin opened the door and said, "I hope so, otherwise I'll be in a helluva lot of trouble for stealing."

Sess shook his head and got in the passenger side. He looked at the car radio and was prepared for Britney Spears or some other crap like that. So you can imagine his shock when she turned on the car and `NOFX' began blaring loudly. Rin turned down the radio and said, "Sorry, you can change the CD if you want."

Sess just ignored her and turned `Clams Have Feelings Too (Actually They Don't)'. Rin grinned and drove down to her house, happily singing along with the song.

As they pulled up to her house, Sess's eyes widened in surprise at the size of it. Rin didn't notice his surprise and pulled into one of the garages. She parked her car and got out saying, "Want something to eat before we start? I've got a hankering for cake."

Sess followed her as she babbled about the cake they had. He hid the look of shock from his face while he looked around the magnificent house. It was massive and immaculate, but something struck him as odd. "Rin? Didn't you say that you just moved here?" He called after her.

Rin poked her head around the corner. "Yup!"

He followed her into the kitchen and said, "So where are all the boxes? This places is spotless."

Rin's face fell slightly. "Oh, well, I just moved here. My father on the other hand, has been here for a few months."

"What about your mother?"

"Dead." Rin answered.

Sess felt terrible. "I'm sorry."

Rin shrugged, trying to put her happy face back on. "Don't be." As she cut two pieces of the cake, Sess asked, "So, why was your dad here but not you? And where were you?"

"Switzerland. And he was here before me because he said that he wanted to get the house ready before I arrived." The skepticism was very evident in her voice.

"You don't believe him?" Sess asked as they sat down at the table.

"No. He forgot me." Rin said, getting some forks.

Sess watched the girl in front of him in awe. She just said that her mother was dead and her father had forgotten about her in a different country, yet she was smiling happily and eating cake like nothing in the world was wrong.

Sess shook his head and looked at his cake, feeling sorry for her. What the hell is wrong with me? I don't feel sorry for anyone! I'm Sess, the Ice King, remember?

Rin's talking brought him out of his trance. "So you've heard about my family. Tell me about yours."

Sess sat back in his chair to answer, part of his mind screaming at him not to answer her. You're letting this girl in, you dolt! Sess ignored it and answered her, transfixed on her beautiful face. "It's just me, my parents, and my twin brother."

Rin looked up excitedly. "You've got a twin? How cool! I used to pretend I had a twin, but it's hard to do that when you're `twin' is a balloon."

Sess watched the girl in complete confusion before doing something that he hadn't done in a long time. He laughed. It started as a light chuckle, but he finally laughed out loud, shaking his head. "Everything that you say is just so strange, Rin." He muttered.

Rin giggled and stood up. "I'm going to take that as a compliment!"

They put their dishes in the sink and Rin held Sess's hand as she led the way through the large house to her room. Here he saw several unopened boxes against the wall, and random clothes and accessories strewn here and there. She pulled two large, pink, blow up chairs out from the corner and said, "Pop a squat!" Sess stared from her to the chair, and back again. "It means sit down!" She said, giggling.

Sess shook his head, a small smile playing on his lips. "I know what it means. But I'm not sitting in a pink chair."

Rin rolled her eyes. "Quit being such a Chihuahua and sit down!"

Sess sighed and said, "No thanks."

Rin rolled her eyes and stood up. She suddenly pushed him backwards so he landed in the chair and said, "Now stay there!"

Sess shifted uncomfortably in the chair and muttered, "This is fricken weird."

Rin giggled and pulled her chair across from him. "Hush."

The two of them worked together for nearly two hours, with no interruptions. Finally, Rin closed her textbook and stretched. "I think that's a pretty good head start."

Sess closed his book as well. "Yeah."

Rin put her books away and leaned forward, watching Sess. "You have pretty eyes." She stated.

Sess leaned forward, looking slightly peeved. "Guys aren't meant to have anything pretty."

Rin giggled and said, "Well you do, so there."

Sess looked into her eyes as a grin threatened to break through and said, "Whatever. You've got pretty eyes, too." Rin giggled as a slight blush touched her cheeks. Sess grinned and leaned forward even more, lifting a hand to touch her cheek. "And you're cute when you blush."

Rin bit her lip to keep from smiling and tried looking down, but Sess grabbed hold of her chin and murmured, "You're cute all around."

Rin giggled again and said quietly, "You know what this means, don't you?"

"What?" Sess asked as he gently stroked the side of her cheek.

Rin swallowed but said, "You should kiss me."

Sess took a second to take in what she said before moving his head forward to kiss her partially opened lips. It last for only a second, then the two of them pulled back slightly to look into each other's eyes before they each leaned forward to resume kissing. Their lips moved over each other's slowly, both relishing in the other's taste. They both stood up at the same time, Rin wrapping her arms around Sess' neck as he placed his hands on her hips. They pulled apart again and Rin giggled. "Pretty impressive first kiss." She mumbled.

He grinned. "You're a very confusing girl."

Rin giggled. "How so? I wear my emotions on my sleeve!"

He chuckled. "You got me to fall for you. In one day."

Rin threw her head back and laughed. "Yay for me!"

He chuckled and looked at his watch. "I should get home, though."

Rin nodded and pulled away from him. "I'll give you a ride back to the school, Sessy."

Sess nodded and began packing away his books when he suddenly stopped and turned around slowly. "Sessy?"

She grinned. "Cute, huh?"

He shook his head. "Not in the slightest."

Rin giggled as they walked out of her room. "Well to bad, I like it!"

Sess grabbed hold of her hand and twisted her around to face him. He wrapped his arms around her and sighed, grinning. "Something tells me that I'll be putting up with a lot of this."

Rin giggled and nodded. "You knew from the moment you saw me that you liked me, too!"

He rolled his eyes. "Yeah, after I got over the initial annoying part, I guess you're right."

Rin laughed and stuck her tongue out at him as they walked out to her car.

Rin giggled and hugged Sess close to her. "How is it that we got here?" She asked in happy wonder.

Sess chuckled and kissed her neck. "Love at first sight."

Kagome, Sango, Miroku, and Inu Yasha sat around the floor playing poker with Rin's remaining candy. Kagome was losing continuously, as her mind was elsewhere, but she let on to no one how scared and nervous she was. What will we do if I'm pregnant? Oh God, I'm so scared. She gripped the cards tightly in her hand and took a deep breath. Inu Yasha glanced up at Kagome, almost as much fear in him. I need to talk to Kagome.

Miroku broke the tense silence by saying loudly, "You know Sango, this game would be a lot more fun if the two of us played strip poker."

Sango responded by throwing a large candy bar at his head.

Hours later, Kagome and Inu Yasha were finally able to excuse themselves from their friends to be alone. They walked down to the lobby and stepped out of the hotel, not going to far. He immediately wrapped his arms around her but said nothing.

Kagome leaned against him and whispered, "What if… we are…?"

Inu Yasha licked his lips and said, "Then we'll get married." Kagome bit her lip. He noticed, and asked slightly hurt, "You don't want to?"

"No! It's not that, it's… When I pictured us getting married, it was because we wanted to because we are in love. Not because we messed up and might possibly be pregnant."

Inu Yasha turned her around to face him and rested his chin on top of her head. "I know, me too. But we're still in love, right?"

Kagome smiled and nodded, wrapped her arms around his torso. "Right."

He stroked her back and said, "We'll know for sure if you're late, right?"

Kagome nodded again. "I'm due in a few days, so we'll know then, but we can get a pregnancy test back home to be positive."

Inu Yasha nodded and kissed her temple. "Whatever happens, I'll take care of you."

Kagome smiled. I love you, Inu Yasha. But I really hope we aren't pregnant. I'm too young for a kid! When we married and older, then we can have kids. But not now. Oh please God, please not now.

Inu Yasha could tell how nervous she was by the way her body tensed and he hugged her tighter. "I love you, Kagome."

"I love you too, Inu Yasha."
