Rin skipped happily down the street towards the ice cream shop, books held carefully in her arms. She ignored the odd stars she was getting and continued her way to where she was supposed to be meeting her friends and fiance. As the ice cream shop came closer into view she smiled inwardly. Rin was happy just about every day, and today was no exception. But with the wedding plans and the like, she couldn't help but be ten times happier than usual.

As Rin passed a group of guys, she began thinking of Sess. She giggled slightly, but suddenly frowned as she heard a catcall come from the guys behind her. She stopped and looked behind her to see the smirking at her.

"What's up baby." One of the guys said, looking her up and down.

Rin shook her head and continued on her way, ignoring them. However, they would have none of that, and they soon caught up to her. The guy who spoke to her tried grabbing her arm, but Rin shook his hand off easily and sped up her pace slightly, her heart beginning to beat faster.

Suddenly, her wrist was grabbed and she was swung around, causing her books to fall to the floor. The face of the guy in front of her was slightly familiar, but she couldn't quite place who it was. "I was talking to you!" He said gruffly, the putrid scent of alcohol strongly on his breath.

Suddenly, Rin recognized who he was. "Bankotsu?" She asked quietly. Bankotsu was a graduated senior from the year before that she had seen around the halls. They had said hi to each other every once in a while, but never really talked.

He smirked down at her. "Finally, you answer. I was beginning to think that your mother hadn't taught you any manners before she died."

Tears sprang into Rin's eyes and she pulled her hand back and slapped him across the face. The force of the slap turned his face to the side, and he was still and silent for a moment, looking to the side. Finally he turned to look at her, his grip on her wrist tightening.

She winced slightly and began trying to twist her wrist from his hand. "Let me go!" She hissed through clenched teeth.

He smirked down at her and began pushed her towards the wall of a nearby building. "I've been hoping I'd run into some old chums from school. How you been, Rin?"

Rin gasped as her back hit the wall. She continued to try to pull her tiny wrist from his firm grasp, while a thousand and one thoughts ran through her head. What's going on?? Why is this happening?? What happened to him? What did I do?? Where is Sess???

Bankotsu's friends formed an unsuspicious wall around him and Rin and Bankotsu continued to smirk at her. "What's the matter daddy's girl? Not in the mood for talking?"

Rin's bottom lip trembled as he gripped harder and she felt her hand growing numb. "Please stop it." She pleaded in a near whisper.

Bankotsu laughed menacingly in her face. He suddenly mashed his lips against hers, but only for a second, as he was suddenly pulled roughly away from Rin and thrown to the ground. Rin gave a dry sob, and was suddenly in the arms of Sango and Kagome, while Sesshomaru stood over the harassers, Miroku and Inu Yasha behind him.

Without another word, Rin was pulled away by her best friends. Kagome quickly scooped the books into her arms and Sango continued to usher Rin away from the scene. Every once in a while, Rin attempted to speak, but she was shushed as soon as the tears in her eyes grew. Sango and Kagome finally stopped when they were back at the school and Sango said in a worried voice, "I knew we shouldn't have let you go alone!"

Rin sniffled and nodded. When the final bell rang at the end of the day, she told her friend's and fiance to go ahead to the ice cream shop. She had something to discuss with a teacher, and didn't want to make the rest of them wait. Despite their many protests, Rin left the group, promising to meet up with them shortly.

Kagome hushed Sango and pulled Rin into a tight hug. "Just keep a lookout for the boys, will you? I'm pretty sure that Sess is going to be agitated when he gets to Rin." Sango nodded and put an arm around Rin before looking around for the three boys.

Moments later, Inu Yasha, Miroku, and Sess walked onto school property. No words were spoken between Sess and Rin as he picked her up bridal style and carried her to his car. He gently placed her in the passenger seat before getting in the driver seat and leaving the four others.

Miroku rubbed the back of his neck and sighed. Sango walked over to him and leaned against his side, so he wrapped an arm around her in comfort. "She's fine." He mumbled to her.

She nodded. "I know."

He rubbed her arm and said, "We should go." She looked up at him and nodded. The two of them said goodbye and got in his car to drive away.

Kagome and Inu Yasha were left alone standing side by side. She crossed her arms in front of her and took a deep breath. Inu Yasha was looking straight ahead of him, clenching and unclenching his fists. He was seconds away from blowing up, and he didn't think that Kagome would appreciate that very much, but he couldn't help it. What just happened to Rin brought back all the memories of everything that happened to Kagome.

One moment Kagome found herself staring off into space, and the next moment, she found herself pushed up against Inu Yasha's car, while he placed open-mouthed kisses all over her neck. Confused, she was about to ask him about his sudden change in attitude when she was cut off by his lips. He persistently kissed her, urging, no demanding, that she give in to the kiss. She finally did, and kissed him back with just as much fervor. He ran his hands over her body as he pressed himself against her. Embarrassed about being seen like this in public, she pulled away from the kiss and, ignoring his growls, said, "We should go somewhere else, Inu Yasha." He sighed heavily, and Kagome gently pushed away. "Please?"

He nodded and reached behind her to open the passenger door. She got in and he quickly shut the door before hurrying around to the driver's side. Once in the car, he started it quickly and sped out of the parking lot towards his house. Kagome gripped her seat tightly as he whipped around corners without slowing down.

When they finally arrived at his house, Inu Yasha wasted no time in jumping out of the car. He rushed to Kagome's side and all but carried her out of the car and up to his room. Kagome's eyes became wide as she was suddenly tossed onto the bed. Her boyfriend leaned over her and resumed his prior actions of kissing and touching.

Kagome squeaked in surprise as her pants were suddenly yanked down to her knees. She looked her boyfriend in the eyes, but suddenly threw her head back as she felt his stiff manhood beneath his pants pressing against her center. Inu Yasha moved his lips over her own and fiercely kissed her as his hands worked on removing his own pants. As Kagome kissed him back, she moved her hands up his body and around his neck.

Inu Yasha hurriedly kicked off his pants and broke away from Kagome's lips to finish removing her pants that were currently trapping her legs. Finished with that task, they attached at the lips once more and Inu Yasha's hands roved over her body as he worked on removing her panties. Kagome shifted her body slightly to help him, and couldn't resist lifting her hips to press against his member again. Inu Yasha groaned and bucked against her heat. Kagome's mouth fell open at the sensation. She panted heavily, but forced herself to come down from her sexual haze. Did Inu Yasha have a condom?

She looked up at her boyfriend as he began removing her boxers and whispered, "Do you have a-"

Inu Yasha cut her off by pressing a hot kiss to her mouth. Kagome barely had any time to respond before Inu Yasha had gripped her hips and buried himself deep inside of her. Kagome cried out in surprise, and in pleasure. She gripped Inu Yasha's shoulders in her hands tightly, and began panting and moaning as he moved in and out of her.

He knew he should have let her finish talking, but he couldn't help interrupting her like this. Forget the condoms! She's on birth control for crying out loud! And it's about time she got used to this. He moved faster and harder as Kagome's moans got louder. Her toes curled as she squeezed her eyes shut, feeling herself building. By Inu Yasha's broken pants, he was near completion too. The two of them held each other tightly, excitedly awaiting the expected orgasm. Finally it hit, sending the two of them spiraling away in pleasure. The force of the climax left both of them panting deeply.

When they caught their breath, they forgot their clothes and began cuddling. Kagome continued to place kisses all over Inu Yasha's neck and face and he gave a tired chuckle.

"Tell me the truth. It's better this way, right?"

Kagome's answer was to place an open mouth kiss on his lips as she inwardly smiled in agreement.

Miroku drove his way through the town, Sango and himself sitting quietly. She had spent the first ten minutes of the drive switching from radio station to radio station, but she wasn't interested in any of the songs, so the two of them finally settled for a comfortable silence. She didn't even bother to ask where they were going, as she already knew that his response would be, well, nothing.

When they finally stopped at their destination, Sango's eyes widened. "A theme park?" She asked in disbelief.

Miroku gave her a sheepish grin before he got out of the car. "I know it's not the most romantic, but just wait. I mad special arrangements so we could go on any ride we want, without having to wait in line."

Sango got out of the car, walked over to Miroku, and threw her arms around his neck. She placed a chaste kiss on his lips and muttered, "This is adorable."

He grinned, rubbed her backside, and took hold of her hand. The two of them walked up to the front gates. Miroku talked to the worker at the entrance for a few minutes, and they were each given a bright orange pass on a necklace. The worker smiled, stamped their hands, and let them inside.

Once past the gates, Sango and Miroku immediately headed for the roller coasters. At first, Sango was hesitant to cut in front of all the other people that had been waiting, but each time they arrived at the rides, Miroku would explain very loudly why they were going first, and the majority of the people at each ride (mainly giggling little girls, or romantic girls) would clap and coo, and had no problem with them going ahead.

Eventually, Sango was feeling a little sick from all the rides, so they decided to play some of the games. Now, Sango had always considered these games to be rigged and un-winnable, but each time Miroku played a game, he miraculously won the largest prize each and every time. In just a short while, Sango had more giant stuffed animals than she could have ever imagined. Tired of lugging them all around, she began giving them away, much to Miroku's consternation.

"What do I need all these stuffed toys for?" She asked him as she handed a large stuffed dog to a three-year-old girl.

He huffed and said, "I don't know, most people sleep with stuffed animals!"

She giggled and, making sure they were out of earshot from children, whispered to him, "Why sleep with them when I can sleep with you?"

He grinned pervertedly and said, "Very true." Looking at the few stuffed toys she had left he asked, "Will you at least keep one?"

She smiled. "Of course." Finally settling on a large stuffed cat, she handed out the rest and they began walking hand in hand around the park.

Hours had passed since they first arrived, so the sun was setting and the crowds were thinning. Suddenly, they came across the cheesiest ride of all: The Tunnel of Love. They both looked at the ride with amused skepticism, but Miroku muttered, "When in Rome…" Sango laughed and nodded. They headed towards the line and, instead of cutting in front, waited with the other couples.

Miroku wrapped his arms around Sango and placed a gentle kiss on her temple while Sango people-watched. There were many other couples in front of them, of all ages, shapes, and sizes. She saw two thirteen year olds, shyly hold hands and avoiding each other's gazes. Near them was a squabbling married couple, who were probably in their forties. And just in front of Sango and Miroku was a very old couple. They were holding hands and quietly whispering sweet things to each other as they waited in line. Sango smiled to herself as she watched the sweet old couple, and silently prayed that she and Miroku would be that sweet, and that in love at that age.

When it was Sango and Miroku's turn for the ride, the enormous swan-shaped boat pulled up along side the edge of the platform. Miroku helped Sango n first before settling next to her. The ride operator repeated the rules to them in a very bored voice before letting them float down the river. Pulling a cheesy move, Miroku pretend to yawn and wrapped an arm around Sango's shoulders. She laughed and leaned into him.

"Have I told you how much I love you yet?" She asked as she snuggled against his side.

Miroku grinned and placed a finger under her chin. He tilted her head upward and leaned down, placing a soft kiss on her partially open lips. Their tongues softly intertwined as the kiss went on. Sango placed one of her hands on the side of his face and gently stroked his smooth cheek. Completely ignoring the glowing hearts and odd looking cupids in the tunnel, the lovers only focused on each other as the lazily floated down the river. When the ride finally ended, neither teenager noticed as the swan-boat slowed to a stop. The rider operator cleared his throat several times before Sango finally pulled away from Miroku. Blushing, she began standing up to get out of the ride, muttering an apology. Miroku suddenly grabbed hold of Sango's wrist and tugged her back into the ride. "Why don't you let this thing go around once more?" He asked as he flashed his orange pass to the worker.

The worker grinned and kicked the boat forward. Sango threw her head back and laughed loudly.

Rin sat in the passenger seat of Sess's car in silence. The dried tears on her red cheeks caused Sess's heart to ache for her, but he wasn't in a very comforting mood. He had just broken that guy's nose, and would have done more had Miroku and Inu Yasha not pulled him away. He was still pissed off that anyone else dare touch his fiance, and therefore was far too angry to realize that Rin needed comfort.

He pulled into Rin's driveway, still having said nothing. He got out of the car, walked around to the other side, and opened the door for Rin. She held her hands out to him and he helped her out of the car. She clung to him tightly as they walked into the house. The two of them walked up to Rin's room without having been confronted by a maid, butler, or father, which they were both grateful for.

Once in Rin's room, she sat down on her pink loveseat couch while he shut the door. Sess turned around, intent on giving Rin a speech about never going anywhere by herself ever again, but he stopped himself when Rin's bottom lip trembled. She looked like she was ready to burst into tears all over again. He walked over to her and sat down, pulling her towards him. Rin willingly cuddled against his chest, sniffing loudly. She mumbled something that Sess didn't quite catch. He lowered his head closer to her mouth and she repeated, "I feel tainted."

"What do you mean?" He asked, straightening up.

She rubbed her eyes and said, "He kissed me. That wasn't fair. I'm not his fiance." She looked up at him and whispered, "I'm yours."

Sess felt the anger boiling up inside of him, but forced himself to ignore it and focus of comforting his distraught fiance. "You aren't tainted, Rin." He said calmly. She said nothing and he continued. "You didn't kiss him back, and you didn't want or initiate the kiss." He leaned closer and rubbed noses with her. "You didn't do anything wrong."

Rin's eyes locked with his and she took a deep breath. "I love you, Sessy."

He gently kissed her lips for a moment before replying, "I love you too, my beautiful Rin."

Inu Yasha watched Kagome as she dressed, unknowing to her. She was under the impression that he was asleep, so she was unabashed of her body, and not trying to cover up like she probably would be doing had she known he was awake and keenly watching. No matter how many times they had been together and been naked in front of each other, Kagome always blushed when he would look at her naked body. No matter how much he adored her, she always seemed embarrassed. He thought it was funny, but cute.

When Kagome finished getting dressed, Inu Yasha reached out and grabbed her wrist to keep her from walking away. She eeped in surprise and gasped to see him wide-awake. "Were you watching me?" She asked in a shocked voice.

He grinned, and her question was answered. In response she blushed and turned away. Inu Yasha got up and kneeled on the bed. He kissed her neck and said, "How else am I supposed to get a peep show?"

She laughed and playfully smacked his shoulder. He chuckled and released her. He quickly got dressed and the two of them left his room. "I should head home." Kagome commented, glancing at the grandfather clock in the hallway. Inu Yasha grabbed her hand and the two of them walked to his car.

While they drove to her house, Inu Yasha casually said, "I think you girls should take a self-defense course."

Kagome looked over at him and said, "I was thinking the same thing."

He smiled in relief that she wasn't going to fight him on this. "My family knows a great dojo that you three could get classes from, you know? Me and Sess took classes there when we were little."

The two of them talked about different self-defense courses she should take as he drove to her house, and by the time they got there, they decided to set up classes at the end of the week. Kagome kissed Inu Yasha deeply before stepping out of the car and walking up to her house.

Miroku drove Sango back to her house, regretting being unable to bring her back to his house. Kohaku had been having the time of his life altering between Shippo and Souta's houses, so Sango wouldn't have to be worried about him while she was so preoccupied. As he pulled up to her house he said, "You know, my parents leave Sunday morning." Unsure where he was going with this statement, Sango remained silent as she looked at him. "I was thinking you could come over after your final surprise."

She grinned. "Okay, sounds like fun."

He turned into her driveway and stopped the car. Leaning closer he kissed her lips gently before whispering against them, "I hope you had fun."

Sango giggled. "Definitely. This day was awesome."

He smiled and kissed her cheek. "I'm glad. Four days down, three to go."

Sango kissed him again. She pulled her enormous stuffed cat into her arms and stepped out of her car. Miroku waited till she was inside her house before driving away. He immediately got on the phone and began making arrangements for her next surprise.
