Summary : Inuyasha is having money problems with his dearest brother, so his smart, brilliant self decides to rob a bank, but when he gets there he meets Kagome Highurashi, a rich spoiled brat who offers him a deal he can not refuse. To bad both didn't know what they were getting into.






was a bright sunny day. The birds chirping, people happily walking about the busy city of Los Angles, talking about the wonderful day they were having, well that was until a red 2003 Mustang came zooming down the main street, honking its horn loudly for passer byers to quickly move out the way. Curses were thrown from left to right, but all the driver could do was smirk and flick off whoever opened there mouth. After about over five hundred angry businessman/woman, families, and tourists, the street started to lessen with people and the hanyou driver could drive as fast as he wanted.
slow pokes. Always in my way." He muttered to himself before his cell phone rang next to him. He quickly flipped it open. "What?"
that's no way to talk to your elder brother, Inuyasha" Inuyasha rolled his eyes.
can talk to you however the hell I want, Sesshomaru. Now tell me why your calling me?" He practically yelled into the phone.
not calling to catch up on loss times-" Inuyasha snorted at that. "But sorely on business. You owe me money and if I don't get that money by the end of this week, its your head I want instead." He stated pricesly to the point. Inuyasha rolled his eyes.
just how much do I owe you?"
million." It took a moment for Inuyasha to register all this in his head.
When Have I EVER burrowed $10 million from YOU?" He yelled into the phone.
didn't burrow exactly $10 million, dumbass. But since the day are parents died I had to take care of you with my money and I've been keeping track since the day you left, to go out on your own."
bastard! Who the hell does that?!" Inuyasha's grip on the steering wheel tightned until his knuckles turned white. "I can't believe you."
sure you can't, well Inuyasha I want you here in New York, by the end of this week. You've got until 9:00 PM Sunday. If your not there, don't be surprised when you don't wake up from your sleep." and with that he hung up the phone. Inuyasha muffled some curses as he sped down to his apartment. How the hell was he going to get $10 mil, by Sunday? It was impossible, unless...but no he had stopped that shit back when he was 15, he couln't just start up again, but then he had no choice. Inuyasha looked of his window as he passed a National Bank Of America. His eyes turned cold as his mind was set.

long raven hair flowed with the wind as she let it out of her ponytail. Her black 2005 BMW running smoothly on the road as the top was down for the summer weather. Her car phone rang loudly with the tune from the song "Girlfriend" By Alicia Keys. She pressed OK on the phone.
Kagome Higurasho speaking." She said in a sing song voice.
where the hell are you? You were supposed to pick me up 10 minutes ago!" Yelled a very aggrivated girl. Kagome sighed.
Yuka, I'm on my way to pick up Eri, I'll pick you up next ok."
Chirped the girl. Kagome raised her brow at the 180 deggree attitude change. She quickly pressed END and sighed again. Her life might have been good to others but to her it was hell. She was a rich spoiled brat that didn't even know what to do with all the money she had. She had snob friends that could care less about her but more about her money and name. Yeah she was Kagome Higurashi, daughter of Tenshio Higurashi and Yuki Higurashi, the two best damn lawyers in the state of California. Kag rolled her eyes, her parents may have been great at their jobs but they sucked as parents. For all her birthdays, all she got from them was either a phone call or a credit card, with over $100,000 dollars on it. Gee what a great birthday gift.
looked out her window to see that she was now passing the National Bank Of America.
as well stop and take some extra cash out." She said aloud. Quickly she turned into the parking lot, parking her car in the closest parking space near the front. She took out her ATM card, but noticed the line at both and decided to go inside then wait at the long line.

parked his car quickly and stepped out. He looked at the entrance and noticed the line for the ATM.
it is Friday." He said to himself and went inside. Walking by people casually, he made it into the bank. The first thing he saw was the sea of heads. He couldn't help but groan in irritation. "Great, how the hell am I supposed to rob a bank with this many people?" He was about to go into the line, to make himself look like he was getting money when his cell phone rang again. He checked the caller ID and raised a brow. "Yo." Was all he said to the prson on the other line.
Yash, long time no talk, how's it hanging buddy?"
there something you want Miroku?" He growled out. Miroku sighed on the other side.
man, I can't call just chat?" Inuyasha snorted. "Ok ok, your right, anyways. I need you to pick me up."
are you?" He asked before he moved away from the line and into a more private area, where he never noticed a girl also standing there.
far, just in Neveda."
business do you have there?" Miroku smirked.
you come over here you'll see."
its on my way to New York anyways."
what business do you have there?" Miroku asked the same question.
thinks I owe him money, and seeing how I'm lacking the amount he needs, I'm about to do something we decided to drop a long time ago-"
GOING TO ROB A BANK?!" Inuyasha quickly coverd the cell phone and looked around to see if anyone heard. Thank God no one had he turned back to the phone, again never noticing the listening ear to his far right.
now the whole world knows." He growled into the phone.
you think your a little rusty, I mean it been what, like seven years?"
shut up. I gotta go I'll talk to you later." And with that he hung up.

felt like gasping when she over heard what the man was talking about, but she knew is she did, she would probably be the first to die, and that was a no-no on her list. That's when an idea struck her. She hated her life right and this man needed money? She quickly thought more on it as the man finished up his conversation and when she heard the click of the phone being shut she quickly got into his view, which surprised him to no end.
long have you been standing there, wench?" He added as an after thought. Kagome's face turned from a mischevous smile to a angry scowl.
of all my name is Kagome not wench, and second I have a deal for you." Inuyasha's brows raised as he heard what this girl had just said. SHE had a deal for HIM? What kind of joke was this?
sure you do but I have more pressing matter to deal with right now." He said about to move away when her arm shot out infront of him and stopped him.
listen to me and if you don't like what I have to say you can leave and do your...harm." He growled deeply in his throat, hoping to scare away the girl but to no avail. She justed rolled her eyes and took a deep breath. "Alright, well I couldn't help over hear your conversation-"
I didn't know listening onto other's conversations was a hobby?" Inuyasha said sarcastically.
funny, anyways, I'm Kagome Higurashi, the daughter of Tenshio Higurashi and Yuki Higurashi." She said waiting for a reaction.
that helps me how?" Was he replied with and Kagome just about fell to the ground with that.
your the first person not to know who my parents are." Inuyasha looked at like she was on crack, something he really wasn't doubting at this point. "Whatever, what I mean is that I'm rich, spoiled, whatever you want to call it and I can help you get your money. As much as you need!" She said in an almost desperate tone.
and what's the catch?" Kagome almost squealed. He was actually taking her deal into consideration.
you have to take me with you...to New York."
He yelled as loud as anyone could do, making the whole bank stop what they were doing to turn and stare at him. Inuyasha scratched the back of his head as he placed a fake smile on his face. "What...what a great thing wen- um...Kagome." He said in a feeble attempt to have the others look away from him. When they didn't he growled in annoyance, only to have Kagome put a hand to his chest. He stopped what he was doing to look at her hand, She turned around and smiled her million dollar smile. The crowd beamed back at her before returning to what they were doing. "H-how did you do that?"
smile." She said with a bored tone. "So...?" She asked wating for an answer on her proposal.
so you want me to basically kidnap you so that I can get 1 billion dollars?"
that's how much you need, well I can do it, yes then." Inuyasha sighed and rubbed the bridge between his eyes. "You know you can laways say no and rob this bank like you planned to, but now with that little show you did, everyone knows what you look like and give the cops a direct description."
so what, I'll lon gone before they even start to look for me."
you forgotten where you are? National Bank Of America, ring a bell?" Inuyasha had a blank stare. "Gawd what do you live under a rock or something?! You have got to be the mostly clueless guy I have ever met." Inuyasha looked like he was about to say something, when Kagome beat him to it. "This is the biggest bank in LA, they'll have the SWAT out for you before LAPD hear."
how would you know?"
have my ways. So what is it a yes or no?" Inuyasha looked away from her, really thinking about what he should do. He could rob the bank and have the SWAT on him or he could take this harmless girl all the way with him to New York, get his money, and be rid of her. Simple right?
but on one condition. You listen to me and do whatever I say!" Kagome did a little happy dance before his words really sunk in.
will only do simple things you ask of me and I well certanily not do THAT with you if you ask me." She said turning away to walk outside of the door.
just what the hell is THAT?" He asked before something clicked in his mind and he quickly knew what she meant. "Psh, like I would want to do that with you!" Kagome turned around with a gasp.

Kagome growled her inhuman growl, which took Inuyasha by surprise and pulled something from her pocket. Inuyasha was now really wondering what the hell she was doing, was she going to stab him or something. When all he saw was her keys, he chuckled to himself. so funny dumbass?" She yelled out and pressed the small button for her car alarm. It beeped and the doors locks opened.
hold on, what about my car?" Kagome rasied a brow at him.
is it?"
two-door Mustang." Kagome rolled her eyes.
kind of explains it. We can't drive to New York in a cramped up Mustang."
because your damned BMW is so much bigger." Inuyasha yelled out a little peeved about the insult to his baby, even though it was true he wasn't going to admit that to this wench.
it can actually fit FOUR PEOPLE!" She yelled back. People passing by them shook their heads while whispering about young love these days. Kagome of course heard that and blushed a dark red. Never in a million years would she be in love with a jerk like him! She thought with digust. Inuyasha wasn't far behind in that train of thought.
wench, we can take my car back to my place." He was about to walk away when he remembered something. "Oh and try not to remember how to get to my place." Kagome's jaw dropped as all Inuyasha could do was smirk.
sick weirdo, like I would want to remember that you live in a box-"
Minutes Later""""
so maybe this isn't a box?" She said as they pulled up into a fenced in...err...more like caged in drive way. The "fence" was a high wall, somthing similar to her house. The house was on a cliff side, which to Kagome seemed like a danger hazard waiting to happen with the sudden earth quakes that happen here." Once they were parked, Kagome got out of her car and walked over to Inuyasha who was securing his "baby" with a black covering. "So tell me again why you needed to rob a bank?"
that its any of your business, but I need to pay my brother back and don't have the amount he is asking for." Kagome did not miss the way he hissed that out or the deadly gleam that came into his eyes. So far she was guessing that this brother of his was not on the "best friends" list.
with a house like this you wouldn't think you needed money." Kagome said as Inuyasha escorted her inside.
just say that this house wasn't bought the way you might think it was." Kagome looked at him oddly and wondered what he mean't. She was about to ask when he spoke up first. "I'm just going to get a few things. If you want anything to eat, the kitchen is to your right down this hall. Kagome nodded slowly and watched as he walked up the stairs. Cautiously she went to the kitchen marveling at all the thing she saw on her way there. The hallway she was in had polished wooden floors and dark maroon walls, that were filled with pictures of people, some having a bunch of people to some with Inuyasha with only one to two poeple. Kagome wondered if he was a party animal. From the pictures it sure looked like it.
quickly passed the pictures and moved passed the kitchen she was supposed to go in to go into the living room. Which turned into a deep fluffy dark brown crapet with the same maroon walls. There was a large fire place in the center of the wall infront of her with a more pictures on the mantel. This time it being family pictures rather then friends. Kagome smiled warmly at all the pictures with a chibby Inuyasha and a beautiful woman, that Kag thought would be his mother. Another was of a noble looking man his chin wa held high and his hand hel tightly to his jacket, a pose old to this time. Kagome took a closer look to notice the purple strips that framed his face and fiery gold eyes that peicred your soul with their look. Kagome was so into the picture that she didn't notice the presence behind her until it made a itself known.
thought you were going to be in the kitchen, not snooping around my house." Kagome jumped into the air doing a full 90 degree turn. Her hand over heart as she felt it beat 10 times faster.
scared the cookie crips out of me." Inuyasha raised a brow.
Crips?" Kagome bursted out laughing as she figured what she said. Inuyasha just groaned deeply, thinking that he picked up a wacko.
I usually say stupid things when I'm surprised. But yeah...I wasn't snooping, just wasn't hungry so I kept going straight, which led me here." Inuyasha nodded and the two fell into an uncomfortable silence, something Kagome just had to break. "So from the pictures in the hallway, I'm guessing your a popular one?" Inuyasha looked dumdfounded for minute before realised what she was talking about.
the pics in the hall, no. I'm usually never home and so I rent out the extra rooms I have hear to mostly college students who come here for spring break or something. They always leave pictures in those frames."
that's generous of you and a good way to get money." Inuaysha shrugged and turned around grabbing a small duffel bag. He looked over his shoulder at her.
Kagome smiled and nodded quickly walking after him. She didn't know if what she was doing was right but for some reason she felt that she would be safe in Inuyasha's presence.
