Chapter 5 A Little Rest and Relaxation? YEA RIGHT!

Kagome sighed as she laid her head back on the patio lounge chair. The sun baked down on her and her sunbathing partner Sango. Both girls had stripped down to their bikini's and lounged by the pool soaking up the sun. The estate was huge, with its large 100 sq foot patio and Olympic sized pool. The two girls sucked on their iced wine coolers and relaxed.

Miroku knocked on Inuyasha's study door. Inuyasha mumbled and cursed under his breath as he opened the door to his friend. Miroku shot past him and drew open the blood red drapes that hung. Miroku looked out if the huge window grinning he turned to Inuyasha and pointed. Inuyasha eyed him suspiciously and walked over to the window.

"What?" He asked. Miroku raised a dark eyebrow.

"Do you not see the lovely ladies sunbathing?" Miroku asked. Inuyasha looked back out. His golden eyes landing on Agent Higurashi in that skimpy cloth. Miroku slapped him on the shoulder.

"Up for a dip in the pool?" He asked, Inuyasha thought a moment before he nodded and said yes.

Five Minutes later

Sango's ears heard the sliding glass door to the patio open and close. She tipped her Christian Dior sunglasses down and eyed the four visitors. She nudged Kagome in the chair next to hers.

Kagome looked over to see Rin in a yellow one-piece settling in the chair on the other side of Sango. Behind Rin were the three boys. Her mouth watered at the sight of them. Inuyasha stood there with his bronzed hard chest and muscles with his silver hair flowing down. He wore red swim trunks with orange flames. He set his towel down and took off his leather sandals. Standing next to Inuyasha was his brother who looked similar just wearing white and silver Hawaiian swim trunks. Sango almost fell out of her seat when her hazel eyes fell on Agent Houshi.

He was well toned with tan skin and a six pack. He pulled his hair back in to his infamous low ponytail and tied the string to his purple and black patterned trunks. He looked over to Sango and winked. Her face turned red and she pulled her sunglasses back up her nose to avoid his gaze.

Inuyasha looked to the other guys and smiled evilly. They all backed up a bit before splashing in to the water so hard that water flooded over the girls.

"AIEEE!" Kagome screamed as she fell out of the chair and on to the hard sun bricks.

"Ugh!" Sango stated as she grabbed the nearest towel to wipe herself off.

Rin however just laughed it off and remained still.

"My dear Sango. I doubt that towel will help you much why don't I dry you off?" Miroku asked getting out of the cold water. Sango looked up at his giving him an evil glare. Her sun glasses hung half-way off her face and her hair had partly fallen from it's high pony tail. Miroku grabbed Inuyasha's towel and walked behind Sango. He ran the dry towel over her smooth tan belly that was exposed from her tiny lavender bikini that barely covered anything. He pulled the hair tie out of her hair and leaned in close to her ear. Sango shuddered at his warm breath.

"There. See, all dry…To bad though." Miroku said as he pulled the towel away from her inner thigh.

"Why too bad?" Sango managed to keep her voice the same. She felt Miroku's hand on the small of her back.

"Because of this." He stated as he pushed her in to the cold water of the pool. Kagome busted out in laughter, Inuyasha got out of the pool too and pushed Miroku in. Unfortunately for Miroku he landed next to a very pissed demolition expert. Kagome eyed Inuyasha but he put his hands up as if saying, "I mean no harm."

He picked Kagome's wine cooler up and drank some of it. Kagome jumped up out her chair. "Hey!" She poked him in the chest. He stopped drinking for a moment.

"What?" He asked. Looking down instead of at her face. (A/N: I hate when guys do that!) His amber eyes walked down her body taking in her luscious curves. She wore a black mini bikini with four red roses on it. One on each breast, one to cover her womanhood and one on her ass. Kagome stomped her foot impatiently and moved his face up with her finger under his chin.

"That's my drink." She whined. He smirked showing off his demon fangs.

"Oh really? He asked running a clawed hand down her arm feeling the goose bumps form.

"Y…Yes." Kagome stated. Inuyasha took another sip and Kagome hit the roof. She shoved him in to the pool but his claw snagged on the tied part of her top. She fell in with him but her top snapped off.

"AIEEEEEE!" Kagome screamed as she covered herself. Her face was a deep scarlet. Inuyasha was wide eyed, his sharp claws not only pulled her in but ripped the tied top. He smirked and waded over to Kagome. She failed to notice him. He pulled her by the waist flush against his chest. Her naked breast felt good he had to admit that. Kagome was angry, She slapped him across the face. "You pervert!" She screamed as Rin threw her a towel. Kagome wrenched her self out of Inuyasha's grip with out flashing herself. She wrapped the towel around her and got out of the pool.

She walked passed Rin and Sesshoumaru who seemed to be making out at this point. Slamming the glass door so hard that it shook, she stomped off to her room. She headed straight for the bathroom and twisted the hot water knob.

Stripping out of her wet bathing suit she proceeded in stepping in to the steamy shower to wash the chlorine out of her silky lochs.

Once done, Kagome changed in to a simple red tank top and tan shorts with red heels. Her cell phone chirped and she answered.

"How'd the gadgets work out?" A voice came over her side.

"Souta, they were awesome! I love you so much! Thank you! Oh umm, I snapped another bungee-cord…Could you please send me a new one?" She asked. She heard her younger brother sigh, followed by a "Sure thing." She could here her mother in the background cooking.

Kagome hung up and sighed. She did miss her family, and the shrine. The loud creaking of the iron gates hit Kagome's ears. She stood and walked over to the boarded up windows. She pried a piece of wood off the window so she could see. She silently cursed to Inuyasha for boarding up her windows all because she had snuck off.

Then she saw him. The same man she had seen on the night of the heist. His jet black hair slicked backed in to a pony tail and all the way from where she stood she could see those beautiful ocean eyes. She gasped. `What is he doing here?' She said mentally. She turned around and shot out of her room. She ran in to Sesshoumaru on the way out. Literally ran in to him. She almost had hit the ground when he saved her. He stared at her before mumbling a "Your welcome." And walked off. The doorbell rang and Kagome raced down the tiled hall floor to get to the door first.

Inuyasha heard the sound of heels clanking passed his door very fast and decided to check it out. He too had enjoyed a nice shower and changed clothes. He now wore a muscle black t-shirt and some baggy dark blue jeans.

He took a sniff around before realizing who was going to be at the door. Using his youkai skills he jolted out of his master bedroom to beat Kagome to the door. He had almost made it before Kagome had slung the door open. Poor Jaken laid spiraled eyed against the wall where Kagome had kicked him.

Green met blue and sparks flew.

"Hi." Her voice squeaked out.

"Hello." He had a partly deep sexy voice that made Kagome melt. Sort of like Inuyasha. `Yea but I bet he isn't a jerk.' Her thoughts invaded her mind.

"Oh um. Can I help you?" She asked not wanting to be rude. Koga flashed her a sexy smile and let him self in.

"You must be Higurashi?" He asked. He recognized her face from some where. The paper work. That was it. He had seen her picture when he looked up the best of the best in Japan. Kagome came close to number one. His eyes trailed up her slender form. Kagome was doing the same to him. He was dressed in a tan t-shirt and khaki pants with white sneakers.

Kagome nodded but raised an eyebrow. How had he known her name? Kouga noticed her confused face.

"Inuyasha told me about you…" He said out of the blue. As if on cue Inuyasha made his presence known by coughing.

Kagome turned around and glared at him before stomping off.

"Nice to meet you Kouga." She said while turning to corner.

"You too." Kouga called after her before turning to his rival.

" She's hot." Kouga said observantly. Inuyasha growled. "Leave my team alone." He growled leading Kouga in to the back study.

"So what do you want Wolf?" Inuyasha snapped as he closed the thick door.

"Well first off What the hell was the idea of stealing the vase from the other night?" Kouga snarled. Inuyasha smirked.

"I had to test the skills of my team." He said sitting in the large leather chair behind the oak desk.

Kouga glared at the hanyou. "How much you want for Higurashi?" He asked. Inuyasha almost fell out of his chair. Higurashi was his. Well not intimately but she worked for him. And him alone.

"She's not available to the likes of you." Inuyasha snarled to his rival. Kouga fisted his hands.

"Every thing has a price." He managed to say in a clam voice.

"Feh! Not this Thief. She's got skills. And you know it. She stays on my team unless she quits. However if she quits it is straight back to prison for her." Inuyasha smirked. Kouga growled.

" Fine then. I'll get her myself, my way." He snapped before turning on his heel and leaving.

As the door slammed on Kouga's way out Inuyasha sighed. Why did Kouga want Kagome anyway? She was just a stuck up bitch in his opinion. ` A really SEXY, feisty, woman who is good a her job.' His thoughts landed on her.

Kouga made a small stop before leaving the estate. He rapped his knuckles on Kagome's door. He knew it was hers from the scent drifting from it. Kagome opened the door only to see Kouga.

"Hello." She said blushing a bit under his intense stare.

" If you ever want to leave this team give me a call babe." Kouga said in his deep sexy voice. His clawed hands flipped her a card with his name and number on it. Kagome stood there breathlessly as he bent down and skimmed her lips with his. A loud growl erupted from behind Kouga causing Kagome to jump back. Standing behind Kouga was Inuyasha, bearing his fangs.

Kouga must have gotten the hint because he was gone after that. Inuyasha looked to Kagome. His heart beat sped up at the mere sight of her. She glared at him still mad about earlier.

"Sorry." Inuyasha said out of no where.

"Wha…What?" Kagome said shocked. Could he read her mind?

"Look I don't expect you to forgive me so soon so let me make it up to you. You and me dinner for two at a fancy restaurant. A date." He muttered.

Kagome strained her human ears to hear it but she heard.

"A….A date?" Kagome said. She noticed the blush on Inuyasha's cheeks. She smiled.

This was so breaking her rules of not getting involved with work.

"Love to." Kagome said. Inuyasha perked up his doggie ears swiveled. "Good be ready by 7:00" He said before leaving her to get ready.

Kagome stood there dazed.
