Chapter 3: It isn't over yet, BOYS

Inuyasha and Kouga were frozen in place. They didn't want to piss her off even more because then she would never forgive them long enough for the two to get her to come back with them.

Sango looked a little green at the thought of those two doing that and TOGETHER!! With someone else, preferably a female someone else, it would have been fine, but with each other; that's just wrong. Miroku, who was standing closest to the inu hanyou and wolf youkai, started to look a bit nervous and willingly sacrificed his prime Sango groping spot by moving away from Inuyasha and Kouga, to the other side of the still battle ready Kirara.

Everyone then heard a quiet gagging sound and turned to see a very green looking Sesshoumaru about ready to throw up. He quickly surpressed the urge, not wanting to appear weak in front of a bunch of humans, and glared at Inuyasha.

Inuyasha looked at Sesshoumaru and, noticing the glare, decided to defend himself. "What? If all she saw was Kouga and me going at it, then she mfmgmffmf." Kouga had jumped up, clamped a hand over the hanyou's mouth, and hissed a 'shut up' at him.

That made Kagome very curious. "What don't you want him to say, Kouga," she asked sweetly. Too sweetly.

"It's nothing, Kagome, really," Kouga said, trying to sound innocent and failing miserably.

"Well if you say so," she said in that overly sweet voice, but this time the others noticed that it was also dripping with venom that lay hidden by the sweetness. Then she got an evil smirk on her face. "SIT," she screamed, causing Inuyasha to hit the ground. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on your point of view, Kouga had carelessly gotten into a position that caused him to go down as well, being crushed under Inuyasha.

Sesshoumaru smirked at this, like he had every time previously when the miko had subdued the hanyou, though the urge empty his stomach of all contents at the thought of what the stupid half breed had done still possessed him. The scent of dirt, bones, and death caused the smirk to fall instantly from his face, a low growl starting to warn of his displeasure.

He had heard about the undead miko that was suppose to be the past incarnation of the human girl in front of him and had heard of her deads. Mainly the soul stealing and trying to drag Inuyasha to hell with her. Though now, he almost wished she had succeeded in the last task.

Shippo and Kirara had also caught the scent and instantly knew who it was. Inuyasha and Kouga, who were still in the process of getting themselves off the ground, halted momentarily to check the scent, and then went back to trying to get themselves free from the power of the subduing spell.

Miroku had noticed the evil aura that had developed in the area and Kagome could sense something coming that she did not want to deal with just then. Sango had taken note of everyone else's tenseness and gripped her boomerang, ready for just about anything.

Inuyasha was just about to get up and run away when Kagome noticed them. "SIT! Who said you could leave," she asked, the sit causing Inuyasha to crash back down on Kouga, knocking the air out of them both.

Then over the tree line, everyone saw the first of the soul stealing youkai, followed moments later by a few of them carrying Kikyo. The youkai set Kikyo down not too far away from Inuyasha and Kouga. Before anyone could say anything to her, she spoke up.

"Inuyasha. Kouga. No fair. You started without me," she whined at the two lying on the ground.

Kagome was the first to recover from her stupor. Everyone else still had to contend with the shock that Inuyasha and Kouga had been together at all.

"WHAT," she screeched, making all the youkai in the area wince in pain at the shrillness of her voice. She glared even harder at Kouga and Inuyasha, even though the former was underground, and under Inuyasha. "What is she talking about? When I saw you, it was only you and Koga. Is she saying you guys had a THREESOME," she yelled at the hanyou, who for once wished he was deeper underground so that she could not see the extremely guilty look he currently had on his face.

Inuyasha's muffled voice came up from his spot deep beneath the ground. "Define threesome." He cringed even more when she shrieked at him.

"YOU STUPID BAKA!! I'm asking if you had sex with her and Kouga at the same time. SIT! SIT! SIT!" She was fuming, furious really, and you could almost see steam rolling off her in waves. Or was that her angery aura flaring at the new found information?

After a few minutes of groaning in pain from the sits, which Kikyo had mistaken for groans of pleasure and nearly jumped in the hole as well until she had been stopped by a livid Kagome, Inuyasha managed to squeak out a reluctant 'yes.'

Everyone was still shocked and that confirmation did not help their recovery along the road to being able to speak again. Everyone except for Sesshoumaru, who was trying supress the overhelming urge to relieve his stomach of all it's contents at the notion of the idea of what had actually transpired between the half breed, the wolf youkai, and the corpse.

Then Kagome's anger actually got the better of her and she stormed over to the hole that Inuyasha and Kouga were hiding in. She knew they were hiding because the subduing spell should have worn off by then. She reached down and grabbed Inuyasha by the ears she had once thought were so cute and jerked up, proving her idea that they were just hiding because he quickly followed after his ears. Retaining her hold on Inuyasha's ears, she reached down and grabbed Kouga's tail and hauled him up out of the hole by it.

Then she grabbed Kouga by his pointy ears and slammed their heads together. The force of the impact would have knocked a human unconscious, but they weren't human, so they had to deal with the pain inflicted by the 'weak human girl' in front of them.

Everyone there could see her aura flaring and they could tell that there wouldn't be anything good in store for the hanyou and wolf youkai. Sesshoumaru had finally overcome the feeling of nausea enough to enjoy the show and was watching the miko's actions intently. Kikyo looked like she wanted to leave, but it seemed that the younger miko was somehow controlling her body. Sesshoumaru remember that in order for the undead miko to be alive, if you could call what she did being alive, and moving she would have to have part or all of the soul that they undoubtable shared if they were truly incarnates of one another. Kagome was still walking around which meant that Kikyo only possessed a part of the soul and therefore actually allowed the younger miko access to and power over her body.

When Kagome felt Kikyo trying to leave, she turned to face Kikyo with Inuyasha and Kouga's ears still held firmly in her hands. "Where do you think you're going, bitch," Kagome asked.

It shocked everyone that someone as nice and sweet as Kagome would use such language. They recovered from that shock much easier than they had the others, blaming the swearing on too much time spent with Inuyasha. And the rage that she no doubtably felt towards them. In fact, Inuyasha probably would have been swearing at her, if she didn't have his ears in a death grip.

Sesshoumaru almost had something that could be considered a real smile on his face as he watched the young miko scare the crap out of the three people that were currently under her control by some force or another.

Kagome once again knocked the heads of Inuyasha and Kouga together and then, used her miko powers to send then flying into nearby trees. Right after Inuyasha's back connected with a tree, she let loose a long string of 'sit' commands, causing the hanyou to go deep underground.

Kagome glared at Kouga for a long time and he could tell she was extremely pissed off at him and Inuyasha, judging by the eight foot deep, Inuyasha shaped crater the hanyou was currently in.

Then a hand popped out of the crater and it caught Kagome's eye. She really was extremely pissed at them.

"Inuyasha, SIT! I didn't say you could get up yet," Kagome ordered.

All that was heard from Inuyasha was a long scream, a very loud THUD when he hit the bottom, probably adding a foot or two when he hit the bottom. Then there was a long line of muffled curses coming up from the hole.

Kouga looked really scared, but was thankful at the same time that Kagome did not have that kind of power over him. Oddly though he couldn't move his legs. He decided to speak up and try to pacify the raging miko.

"Kagome," he tentatively asked. She focused her glare back on him and he wished he hadn't said anything. But it was too late for that so he just started talking. "Kagome, I know what it had to look like to you the other night, but I swear he's just a toy. He doesn't really mean anything to me. I love you and only you."

Kagome cut him off there. "Really? You love ME," she asked in a calm voice, making everyone except Kouga suspiscious. He was too busy trying to save himself from the damamge he knew a miko could cause him to take notice. He nodded his head yes, hoping she would believe him. "If you love me SO much, then how come you were the one taking it up the ass," she screamed at him and he just quivered and whimpered in fear, wisely keeping his mouth shut.

By then Inuyasha had managed to crawl out of the crater undetected. His back hurt so much, he didn't even bother trying to run any more. He had gotten to know some very large rocks quite intamately. He wished he would just pass out. He didn't care if it was in front of Sesshoumaru and he ended up losing his sword and Sesshoumaru thinking even less of him, if that was possible. He just wanted the pain to go away.

In his musings, Inuyasha had failed to notice Kagome walk up to him until she kicked him back into the hole and yelled sit again. This time he was even to tired to yell on the way down and had stopped muttering curses two or three subduing commands ago.

Kagome then walked back over to the still whimpering Kouga and grabbed him by the hair and lifted his head so she could look him in the eye. "I want your shards, NOW," she grated out between clenched teeth.

He looked at her with a questioning look on his face. "How am I suppose to protect my clan without my shards," he managed between whimpers.

"I don't care. Get your lovers to help you, because I certainly will not. And I need the shards. I am the jewels protector, in case you've forgotten." Then she looked over her shoulder to the crater that Inuyasha had yet to attempt to crawl out of again. Then she added as an after thought, "Though Inuyasha wont be much help for a while."

He gave it one last shot and put on his best puppy dog look he could manage, hoping to get her calm down at least a little. "I told you already, he doesn't mean anything to me. I love you, not the stupid half breed. The dead bitch just showed up and joined in. I swear I had no idea she was going to be there. And Inuyasha is just a toy that I use to take the edge off once in a while. I swear."

"And I said I don't care. I want your shards now. Either give them to me or I will take them myself," she warned him in a voice that sent shivers of fear down his spine. When he didn't answer she just muttered a fine and used her miko powers to draw out the shards from his legs. Once they were out of his legs they floated up to her free hand and she closed her fingers around them.

Kouga was surprised. He hadn't actually expected her to take them. Now he didn't have any shards and no real way to protect his clan. He was slightly surprised that the removal of the shards hadn't caused more damdage to his body, considering how mad Kagome was at him. There were only two small holes, one for each shard, where they had exited his body.

She let go of his hair and then put the shards in a pocket until later. Then she went over to where Kikyo was locked in place. Kagome reached out and backhanded her fiercely.

"Bitch. I don't care what you do, but I don't want to ever see your dead ass again. I also don't want to hear about you causing trouble for my friends. Also, leave Inuyasha on earth. He doesn't deserve to be happy in hell with you. You want to stay here with him, fine just don't let me see you. And I'll be able to tell if you do take him to hell, so don't even try it." With that said, Kagome released her from the dormant state the younger miko had put her body in.

'I don't know how I know how to do all this stuff, but I like it. I'm stronger now,' She thought while walking towards her friends and Sesshoumaru. Everyone except for Sesshoumaru had their mouths hanging open from seeing what Kagome had done and how strong she had been.

By the time she had reached the small group, Kikyo and Kouga had helped Inuyasha from the oversized crater and had left. Kagome smirked in satsifaction.

Sesshoumaru looked around the area and saw several holes that he would have to have the servants fill in. He then noticed how tired the young miko looked.

When Kagome reached her friends, she gave them a big smile and then fell to the ground, unconscious.

Sesshoumaru looked at her and then looked at her companions. With a sigh he said, "Pick her up and bring her inside. Follow me." With that he turned around and walked back towards his house, not caring if they followed, but secretly hoping they would just so the miko could stay. Of course, he did not acknowldge it and just told himself that he did not care.

The confused shard hunter's just did what he told them to, picking Kagome up and following Sesshoumaru inside.
