BAM!!!!!

Kagome slammed the door shut furiously. What a sucky day at school! First, the school bitch, Yuki cheated off of her history finals and somehow, Kagome got the blame. Then, to make matters worse, she kept falling asleep in class because she was so worn out from fighting off demons. But oh, let's not forget the topper, the school nurse was doing some physical, and when it was her turn, the nurse saw all the scars, and wrote a note to a therapist saying she was a cutter! Jeez!!! She threw her obese backpack on the floor. Just thinking about her day was getting her pissed.

"Wow, I'll think twice before getting you ticked off." Kagome nearly jumped out of her skin when she found none other than Inuyasha sitting at her table eating a bowl of dumplings.

"Inuyasha?!" She said disbelievingly. "What are you doing here?"

"Sorry ta offend you but I just came by to uh....ya know, um....eat these dumplings your mom made me!" He lied finding it hard to keep eye contact with her. He quickly turned his attention to his food and gulped some more down. She laughed to herself. She knew he missed her.

"Why are you laughing wench?"

"Oh, nothing!" She let out a sigh. Inuyasha smelled a change in her scent.

"You okay?" He asked. "You look kinda angry. Ya also smell that way."

"Oh, I just had a really bad day, that's all! Don't worry about it!" She forced a smile.

"Don't force yourself. Anyways, I was just wondering.....well, 'member that last battle with that incarnation?"

"Yeah?"

He was looking down at his feet now. "Well, I'm pretty tired too, so could I rest up here a few days maybe?" He asked. His face matched his haori as he put one of his hands behind his head and looked up at her through his bangs with a look that seemed hopeful. Kagome looked at him confused. While seeing him after this day put a smile back on her face, she didn't feel like babysitting him. But what could she say? He was hurt and was actually asking for help! 'What the heck?' She thought to herself.

"Sure Inuyasha, stay as long as you like!"

Inuyasha's ears perked up. He sure as hell wasn't expecting that! "Well, if you don't mind me staying then......" He was cut of by the tv in the other room suddenly being blasted up and horrified screams. Kagome ran into the living room, and found Sango and Shippou hiding behind Miroku and a fully transformed Kirara. The cat was growling something fierce, and Miroku was about to unleash his wind tunnel.

"MIROKU NO!!!!!" She cried. Too bad he didn't have a sit command!

"KAGOME!!!!" Shippou sprang into Kagome's arms and gave her a big hug. "I MISSED YOU!!!!!!"

"I'm happy to see you too Shippou!"

"Um, do you have any candy?" He asked with puppy eyes.

"Don't I always? It's in that jar on the counter!" She pointed smiling. "Sango, Miroku, I thought you guys couldn't cross through the well."

"We never actually tried to do it so we thought, you only live once!" Sango explained.

"Not to mention I gave them some jewel shards I found all by myself!" Inuyasha didn't hesitate to brag.

"Well, works for me. Hey, how'd you guys figure out how to turn on the tv?"

"That thing is called a tv? There were people trapped in it!" Miroku exclaimed standing up.

Kagome laughed. "No no, see, the people are supposed to be in there. There filmed with something called a camera and then you can see them here."

"Like teleportation?" Asked Inuyasha.

"Uh, sorta..." Kagome smiled with a sweat drop forming on the back of her head. "Oh wait a sec, I got still got school until the weekend! I can't leave you guys alone here!"

"We'll be fine here by ourselves Kagome, we ain't babies!" Inuyasha snorted.

"Oh no I can't. If you all got this worked up about my tv, then you'll tear my house apart! What am I gonna do?!" She whined.

"Well, what if we go to school with you?" Sango suggested.

"SCHOOL?! WITH ME?!" She screeched. "There's no way you could possibly come to school with me!!!"

"Why?" Asked Shippou.

"You'd never know what was going on for starters! What, with all the dumb tests and stuff!"

"Oh. So.....is that a yes?" Asked Inuyasha raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, sure." She sighed. "But no whining, and that means you Inuyasha!" She poked him in the chest.

"Whatever." Just then, Kagome's mom walked downstairs.

"Oh, hello Kagome! I was just taking a short nap upstairs. I told Inuyasha to watch for you to come home. Why didn't you tell me you had more friends in that era? Shippou and Kirara are just adorable!" She squeeled.

"Mama, they wanna come to school with me. Is that okay?"

"Sure it is, if that's what they want! We should go to the mall and get them some new clothes though. We can go now before it closes."

"Um wait, what about Kirara?" Sango asked holding her demon kitty.

"She can stay and play with Buyo. Don't worry, Gramps is here to watch them! Now let's go." She lead everyone to her car. "Kagome, you can sit up front with me."

"Okay mama." She was about to open the door when she noticed her friends shaking in fear of the car. "You guys, it's not gonna-"

"GET BACK KAGOME!!!!" Inuyasha yelled jumping in front of her and unsheathing Tetsuaiga.

"Inuyasha, sit."

CRASH!!!

"Damnit, I was just trying to save you from this demon!" He growled.

"It's not a demon, it's a car. Instead of walking everywhere, you can take a ride and get there faster!"

"Okay...." He said shakily. He was surprised when Kagome "bravely" entered the car and sat down shutting the door. He and the others quickly mimicked what she did. When Shippou got in, he jumped over the front seat and into Kagome's lap.

"I'm scared!" He wimpered.

"Aww, don't worry Shippou-chan! I'm right here!!!!"

"'KAY!!!" He hugged her. Ms. Higurashi grinned and started up the car. Then she backed out of the drive-way and drove on down to the mall.
