Chapter 3: Club Night

Ok I have to thank Shinobi-chan for my first review and a nice one at that.

Yasha: yeah shes thrilled no can you please answer he request.

Amber: Oh yeah ok the pairing well the definite one is Kag and Sess but they aren't official yet even though they act it. There will be mentioning of Kagura and Sess so you get to see how he became the ice prince. And for now it is Kikyo and Yasha but that will change eventually and then Im not sure you he is gunna be with after that. And Im debating on Miroku and Sango, Rin and Shippo she they be in they may not but if they are they'll be minor characters. Oh yeah and Kag put Yasha in his place well she is really close to them to Yasha she is like a sister but she is really protective of Sess so her violent side tends to come out sometimes.

Okay now back to the story

The entire day was spent doing mundane things Kagome went home for awhile to work on some homework secretly hoping to run into Inuyasha at some point so she didn't have to go through Kikyo so she could have a talk with him. Now she sat in the car with Sesshomaru on the way to Cylo and she still hadn't been able to talk to either of them about their fight. She knew Sesshomaru would eventually talk to her but she was becoming impatient and the disappearance of Inuyasha wasn't helping at all.

She was driving tonight, at first Sesshomaru had fought her about it but he knew when she set her mind to something he wasn't going to be able to derail her. So he leaned back in his seat and listened to Kagome sing along to the song on the radio

*I've been watching you from a distance
The distance sees through your disguise

He closed his eyes calming himself with her voice.

He opened his eyes taking in everything she was singing, he looked at the radio finding it set to Z100 and not the cd player. He sighed knowing that even if she hadn't planned the song it was working.

`You cant save me, its true what Inuyasha said I am weak' he looked out the window at the houses and trees passing by.

Kagome kept singing she wanted to change the station cause the song was hitting her feelings right on the mark. `I really don't want to see him hurt like this, damn Inuyasha this time he went too far.'

`I'm pretty sure Kagura did more than break his heart but I do know that to bring her up and then their mother…those are really low blows'

`I don't think they will ever look at each other the same after last night. They've had bad fights but this was the worst. I hope Yash is feeling really lowsy about himself right now'

`Is he ever going to realize that Kikyo doesn't care about him, that he is better off with out her?'

She glanced over at Sesshomaru to find him deep in thought. `I wish I could take away that sadness.'

Another song came on and she pulled into the parking lot for the club trying to find a spot to park. Sesshomaru finally surfaced from his thoughts when she turned off the engine.

He turned to find her smiling at him.

"Ready to go? This is gunna be a blast." She said putting her ID in her pocket.

He smiled at her finally taking in her attire for the night, `breathtaking.' It was the only way he could describe her. She had her midnight tresses up in a messy bun with a bit in the front to frame her face. She wore a one-sleeved tight black top accenting her hourglass shape and voluptuous breasts. Her black leather pants that' he bought her one Christmas after noticing her eying it in the store clung to her legs like a second skin. She truly was desirable, `I still don't understand how she is single.' He smiled at her, "I'm sure it will be."

He stepped out of the car his long blonde ponytail blowing gently in the breeze. His white wife beater clung tightly to his chest covered by an unbuttoned royal blue dress shirt and black slacks hung loosely around his legs.

They walked to the line and waited to be let inside, even outside the music was loud.

"So why the sudden urge to go out tonight?" He asked.

"Dunno just been in the mood to dance lately and figured tonight was as good as any since neither of us have anything to do." Kagome replied.

They had been dancing for about an hour now occasionally leaving to go to the bar. Sesshomaru smiled as he noticed that Kagome seemed awfully pleased with the looks they were getting. He then noticed a nuisance named Hojo making his way directly toward them. He inwardly groaned the man just never got the hint. He always liked Kagome and made obvious advances but she also made it obvious that she wasn't interested.

He turned her around so that she way facing him, drawing her in close they started to dance in a way others would call fucking with clothes on. She stared into his eyes trying to figure out why he decided to change the movements. Then quickly lost herself in his violet eyes and the way his hands moved along her back.

They danced in that trance like state for awhile until a hand on Sesshomaru's shoulder brought them back to reality.

"Mind if I cut in?" The fake blonde purred in his ear.

"Yes." He replied and turned his attention back to Kagome.

"Would you like to get something to drink?" Kagome whispered in his ear.

He nodded and they left the dance floor to the bar. "Can I get a coke and a red death?" Sesshomaru asked he bartender flashing the bracelet on his left wrist. The bartender gave him the drinks and he paid for them giving Kagome the coke. Did you get all your homework done today?" Sesshomaru asked.

"Yes daddy," she giggled. "Yeah its all done thank god what about you do you have any work that needs to be done tonight?"

"No, I finished my work as well while you went home." Sesshomaru replied.

"Good then we can stay here all night," she laughed as he groaned fine but we still have to do something after this."

"I agree," he finished his drink turned around and ordered another. When he turned back around he wobbled alittle.

"Sessh are you okay?" Kagome asked.

"I'm fine just a little lightheaded, don't worry I don't intend on getting fully drunk tonight." He told her taking another sip of his drink.

"Okay but I think this should be your last one for tonight you've already had three." Kagome said.

"I agree," they finished their drinks and returned to the dance floor. Sesshomaru's feet were a little uncoordinated so Kagome decided to take the lead and use him as a pole while he just swayed to the rhythm. She didn't mind that he had gotten a little drunk tonight because she had figured he would. He was one that rarely drank more than one drink in a night but sometimes even he needed to wind down.

Her gyrations against his body were driving him insane and he couldn't stop his hands from exploring. Even after he heard he gasp when his hand brushed across her nipple.

`I should stop him this will not lead to anything good.' She thought and went to do just that but paused when she felt her other nipple get the same treatment. `He's drunk this has to stop.' She took his hands in hers and wrapped his arms around her waist.

A few minutes later they decided to leave. She led him out of the building holding his hand so they wouldn't get separated. They got into the car and drove home in a comfortable silence with Sesshomaru attempting to sing along with Hoobastank.

`You know if he wasn't drunk he wouldn't sound half bad.' She bit back a giggle as he belted out The Reason `man I wish I had my tape recorder with me.'

They walked into the game room and played a few games of pool before calling it a night. Kagome walked him up to his room and helped him into bead taking off his shoes and dress shirt.

"I'll see ya tomorrow Sessh get some sleep." She said pulling the covers over him.

"You're not staying?" He questioned she could hear the hope in his voice.

"Sure I'll stay, I'll be down the hall in the guest room okay?"

"Why not just stay in here? My bed is the comfiest in the house."

Kagome giggled even as drunk as he was, he was still cute. "But you smell like alcohol an sweat." She lied, he actually smelt really good, `must be a new cologne,' she thought to herself.

"Oh…ok I'll take a shower." He said lifting off the covers.

She stopped him and he looked up at her puzzled. "I was just kidding why do you want me to sleep here tonight?"

"Because your warm and you smell nice," he answered honestly.

"You're drunk," she stated.

He pulled her onto the bed and held her to him. "Yes but a drunk mans words are a sober mans thoughts," he whispered in her ear and smiled when he felt her shiver.

"Alright I'll stay just let me go get changed I don't want to sleep in leather pants." She said climbing off him.

"So take them off," he said.

She giggled leaving the room pausing at the doorway. "You know your funny when you're drunk, I'll be right back." She left the room.

When she came back into the room she found him asleep in only his pants with the covers flung off to the side. She smiled at the sight and crawled into bed next to him. He immediately took her into her arms burying his face in her hair and together they fell asleep.
