Clarification

I had a few questions I thought I'd clear up.

1) Ages….nope, not telling. All will be revealed in time. Patience my friend. Yes, Rin is very old. Yes, she looks very young. Yes there are actually people like that. I have a friend who is a year older than me and people think she's still in middle school. She's on her way to grad school and while she is brilliant (well we all think so) she didn't skip grades or anything. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha are old, but they are demons so they age differently. Sorry, maybe I should have made that more clear. Sango and Miroku are pretty old too, old enough to have been around when Inuyasha was captured. All in all I am not having time flow like it does in today's modern world.

2) I took the words Alternate Universe to a whole new level. People age differently. Normal humans age like you and me (wah!) but demons, mikos etc have extended life spans. You want me to get technical? I can make shit up, it might sound plausible. Anyway, on that note, this world is NOT ours. That's my fault, again I didn't clarify. This world is about 500 after cars were first invented. The modern conveniences as we know them are around (cars, microwaves etc), but I wasn't really going to be historically correct and I didn't feel like inventing shit like flying cars and laser beams. In the 1800's they thought we'd have flying cars by 1980. Obviously we didn't….unless I seriously missed something in my childhood. Besides, then I'd have to have Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha relearning how to live in society…that sounds boring with only the occasional humor relief. Yep, I am cutting corners, sorry!

I prefer action with a little bit of character build up for fun, then more action. I don't like characters just shacking up….you know, boy sees girl, girl sees boy, they're horny. Seems amusing, but superficial to me. Rin and Sess have a history already, which you will find out. Inuyasha and Kagome are doing what many couples from different cultures (demon vs human culture) experience….confusion on what the hell certain things we assume mean something, mean to the other person. Trust me, I got personal experience on that one. It'll make you pull your hair out in frustration sometimes, but it is sooo worth it. Sango and Miroku….well I'm gonna wing it. We'll see how it develops. I like to keep some things open for inspiration. Inspirational moments are good. They're getting me through my thesis right now(^-^)!!

If you all have any other questions please review, I am more than happy to clarify. I want people to enjoy AND understand the story. No point in having a story if people are lost. I mean I know what's going on cause it's in my head….but I've been proven before that just because it works in my head doesn't mean it makes sense to anyone else.

Thanks for the reviews! This is my first posted fanfiction and I was overwhelmed with the response. A friend of mine, an art major, got inspired and is drawing a bunch of sketches for the story, so hopefully there will be visual soon. She is amazingly good. And probably cursing my name for 1) getting her inspired to procrastinate from her thesis work, and 2) for mentioning she is amazingly good.
