"Did I just hear someone screaming or did I hallucinate this'' said the now awake Inuyasha 'And it came from the well' he thought ''Kagome!'' he pronounced her name with a bit of fear, thinking that she could be in danger. He stormed out of the hut and jumped in the direction of the well not knowing he had woken Miroku and Sango. He arrived at the well and saw this strangely dressed girl, he stood there in front of her facing her back

''Who are you'' questioned the confused hanyou. Eri jumped when she heard Inuyasha's voice, she was surprised to encounter someone this late in the evening. She turned to face this stranger only to hear the same question again but with more aggressivity ''I asked you a question, who are you''

''I don't know... I mean euhh... who are you'' she said noticing the dog ears and the claws.

''It's none of your business and what are you doing here, don't you know it's dangerous for females to travel alone, especially at sundown'' at the same moment Miroku and Sango arrived and

''Is it a demon Inuyasha?'' asked the monk.

''No it's only a terrified human'' quickly replied the half demon.

With this brief moment of distraction the girl took her chance and ran away. ''She's running away'' yelled Sango

''Fehh, let her go'' replied Inuyasha

''By the strange way she dresses I'd say she's from Kagome's time, Kagome would never forgive you if one of her friends got killed here'' commented the monk to this Inuyasha quickly jumped in her direction followed by the two others.

'That perverted monk is right, I can't let anything happen to her' ``Where do you think your running to, didn't I tell you it was dangerous'' said Inuyasha when he caught up with the girl followed by Miroku and Sango.

Miroku then interrupted Inuyasha "Calm down Inuyasha, can't you see your scaring her'' he was now holding her hands close to him and ''Hello milady, would you do me the honor of barring my children'' SLAP

"You perv!' what kind of a man are you'' angrily said Eri.

On the spot Sango, looking at the monk with furious eyes ''You deserved that one Miroku. I'm sorry for my friends, they may be a little scary and perverted but none of them means you any harm'' Eri was looking at the scene still confused and a little scared ''What's your name'' asked the cute demon exterminator

''... Eri''

"Ok Eri, how did you get here'' Sango asked with a comforting voice''

The girl fell on her knees and burst into tears ''I... I don't know, I was at my friend's house on a sleepover and ... and ... I don't know I fell in the well and...'' Everyone was now in shock.

Inuyasha was the one who broke the silence ''What's the name of your friend'' he asked kindly

''Kagome'' the girl replied

"I got to take her home right away'' said the stressed half demon to his friends.

''Inuyasha, can't you see the girl is in shock, you'll take her home tomorrow. I suggest she sleeps here for the night'' said Miroku

''I agree with Miroku Inuyasha, she and I will sleep in Kaede's hut while you two will sleep outside'' Sango answered while giving the monk a cold stair

''What? my intentions were honorable''

''Yeah sure'' answered Inuyasha he then told Sango, in a low tone so Eri would not hear anything, that she should not tell anything about this world to Eri. Inuyasha was thinking of the time when Kagome told him that if anyone from her time were to discover the secret of the well, she might never be able to come back to him.

They all walked back at Kaede's hut, Inuyasha was carrying Eri, who was too exhausted to walk. Inside the hut the two girls talked ''I better get you some warmer clothes from Kaede or you'll be freezing tonight'' said Sango

''Euh... excuse me, where am I'' asked Eri, ''And why this guy with silver hair has claws and dog ears, it all looks like I'm 500 years in the past''

"You better get some sleep, your journey back home might not be as easy as when you arrived here, so get some rest'' answered Sango.
