(A/N: Well, I was going to update yesterday but it was my birthday and I was out most of the day and I didn't have time… so… yeah. Well, I'm going to hopefully have some lemons or something soon. So far the story is a little boring but I'll get to it! Well, please R&R! Thanks! )

The Criminal

Chapter 9

Think of It as a Vacation, Kagome

Inuyasha and Kagome had arrived at the airport in Paris at around 5:00 PM. Their stuff was hauled into a taxi. They got in the taxi as well and headed off toward Inuyasha's home. Kagome didn't say anything on the ride there. Inuyasha was quiet too. The taxi stopped at a large cream-colored two-story house. The front lawn was pretty big with nice shrubbery and plants. So… this was Inuyasha's home…

Inuyasha paid the taxi driver and grabbed his things. Kagome grabbed her bags as well and they made their way to the house. Inuyasha rung the doorbell and the door was answered by a butler. Inuyasha gave his things to the man and walked in. Kagome followed him into the house. They were in a large foyer with marble floors. Crystal chandeliers hung from the tall ceiling. To the right was a study and to the left was a large dinning room. Straight ahead was just a hallway with doors on both sides. About 6 feet past the entrance to the study were the stairs leading up to the second floor.

"Follow me." Inuyasha said and walked up the stairs. Kagome followed him up the stairs. The hall way was long. Left or right. Inuyasha took a right. They walked a bit and stopped. Inuyasha opened a door and showed Kagome in.

It was a beautiful room. It was a square room, all sides looked about the same size. There was a large canopy queen size bed up against the wall with a nightstand on each side and a big pretty window on each side. The bed and the nightstands were both oak wood. The bedspread and the sheets were white with light pink roses printed on them. The curtains were lace and matched the bed. On the nightstands were gold lamps with white glass shades and pink roses on them.

On the right of the room up against the wall was an oak wardrobe with glass doors. There was also a door that must have led to another room.

To the left of the room was an oak vanity with a little lamp, a jewelry box, and a hand held mirror and a soft brush sitting on it. There was door over there too. It was a bathroom. To the back of the room were the door leading to the hallway was, where Inuyasha and Kagome had entered the room, there was a dresser and a mirror.

(That's what? 3 mirrors? Yupp, the vanity has a round mirror attached to it of course, there is a small hand held mirror sitting on the vanity, and hanging on the wall above the dresser is a mirror. Fancy decorative room!)

The floors were wooden with a white rug in the middle of the floor.

The bathroom had marble floor like the down stairs. There was a hot tub/bath up against the wall that looked like it could probably fit 10 people in. A separate shower with a glass wall around and a glass door was up against another wall. There was a small closet that opened up to a toilet. And there was a sink and a mirror. There was a little self with candles sitting on it and under the sink was a cabinet with all sorts of soaps, lotions, shampoos, conditioner, etc.

Kagome felt more like a princess then a prisoner of Inuyasha's. She knew it was wrong; she should fight, find a way out, think of a plan, or do something! But she put it all to the back of her mind. She could relax for a while. He would let her go sooner or later right? She needed some time alone. Away from work, away from people, away from life! She had the chance and she was going to take it. This was her vacation.

Inuyasha walked back to the door. "Someone will be here in about an hour to bring you down to the dinning room for dinner." Inuyasha walked out shutting the door behind him.

Kagome smiled then began happily putting her cloths in the dresser and hanging up her dresses in the wardrobe. She put her jewelry in the jewelry box on the vanity and placed all of her lotions and face wash and personal things in the cabinet in the bathroom. She noticed her guns and all being missing, but she still had her laptop with her. She set her laptop on her bed and started unpacking other stuff. She noticed something else missing.

A locket that Sesshomaru had giving her. It was gold and little diamonds were placed on it. Inside `To Kagome Love Sesshomaru' was engraved on one side. Kagome had placed a picture of her and Sesshomaru together at the park. Kagome had gotten Sango to take the picture. Sango had hidden behind a bush, it was a windy day so Sango's scent was carried off and Sesshomaru couldn't smell her, he thought it was just he and Kagome. He was actually smiling too. It was spring, petals from cherry blossoms danced in the wind. It was a really nice picture of them together. Wonder where it went…

Kagome had just enough time after unpacking to take a shower and prepare for dinner. She put on an oversized white T-shirt and blue sweat pants. Her hair hung loosely around her shoulders and down her back. This was her time off, her vacation; she saw no point in dressing up for dinner.

Kagome heard someone knock at the door. "Come in." The door opened and a young woman with short hair and a black and white dress on came in. "Lady Kagome, I'm Yura, I will be serving you while you stay. I am here to take you down the dinning room now." Kagome smiled and followed Yura down the stairs to the dinning room. `It won't be too bad staying here for a while. It'll give me time to think… It won't be that bad…' Kagome reassured herself.

Kagome was shown into the dinning room. Kagome took a seat at the end of the long table across from Inuyasha. Kagome yawned and Inuyasha raised an eyebrow. "You look comfortable." Inuyasha glared at her. Kagome had her elbows on the table and cradled her head in the palms of her hands. She had both eyes closed. She opened one eye and glared back at him. "I am." She replied. "I see no point in dressing all fancy and such for dinner. Nothing to really get dressed up for ya know?" She smiled and closed her eyes again.

Their food was brought out to the table and Kagome and Inuyasha ate in silence. Kagome did not look at Inuyasha at all. But she could feel Inuyasha's eyes on her. She ignored them. When they had both finished eating their food Yura escorted Kagome back to her bedroom. Kagome went right to sleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

Ok, I started this chapter a few days ago. But then my mom found my horrible report card and she took my computer away from me. She gave it back though. She can't stand to yell at me or make me mad or upset. I give her the silent treatment and she goes crazy. It just tears her up inside. I know, I'm so bad! I really shouldn't do that to her. But… BLAH!

Anyway, I'm going to try and finish this story ASAP cause I have a really good idea for a new fic. I get so many ideas that it's hard to remember them all at once and I'm afraid I'll forget! *Mumbles* So… I'll just right this down… *writes down new idea for fanfic on piece of paper* THERE! *Tapes piece of paper to forehead* I will not forget! *Goofy grin*
