Warnings: Domestic violence, abuse.
A/N: I in no way condone abuse of ANYONE; the same goes for domestic violence. Erin isn't writing anymore for now since she's trying to escape her creepy boyfriend who threatened her physically a bunch, and I want to drive down to Texas and whoop his ass myself! Just explaining… I don't like abuse.

“I don't want to see you,” Rin snapped at Naraku as he entered the room. He'd left her alone for a good three days, hoping it would let her adjust to the changes her body was going through. He knew that he'd made her stronger, faster, and damn near immortal, tying her so firmly to his hanyou body.

“Come now, little one,” he said as he approached her. She got to her feet and moved away from him, refusing to meet his eyes. He followed her, but as she continued to resist him, he became more and more impatient to have her full acceptance.

“Look at me, dammit!” he yelled at her finally, grabbing her by the shoulders and spinning her around to look at him. Rin pushed him away, wrenching herself from his harsh grasp; outraged by her defiance, the Dark Hanyou struck out, the back of his hand connecting violently with her right cheek.

Rin stumbled backward, grabbing her face and staring up at him with horrified, widened eyes. Tears welled up in the hazel orbs, and she gawked at him, her jaw hanging open in shock.

He glowered down at her, his dark expression bringing a whole new level of terror to the pit of Rin's stomach. “It's about time you learned to really fear me,” he spat at her, walking away.

Later that night, as it rained and thundered outside her giant window, Rin was getting ready for bed. She barely noticed him standing in the dark doorway.

Naraku stepped inside slowly. He noted the speckling of purple that covered her cheek now. “I'm sorry,” he murmured, stepping closer to her. She stared at him, then dropped her eyes to the floor demurely. “It's a love knot,” he mumbled, nuzzling her bruise. She laughed; he smiled.
