Chapter 9: Outtakes

Chapter 1:

I walked down the busy streets of Chiba, but not as a normal sixteen year old (or fifteen turning sixteen, whatever) on the bustling streets of Chiba, I am an artist. An artist taking picture of graffiti, not the most honorable job, but it's a personal hobby of mine, along with stamp collection and Beanie Babies. As I walked down the main street, wondering what my sweet sixteen present might be, I felt an arm on my shoulder and a hand over my mouth.

In case you're wondering, I'm Haruna Namioka, I have shoulder length black hair and I usually wear a t-shirt and jeans, nothing special. I have friends from all walks of life; rich, poor, dumb, smart, and the just plain crazy!

"Give me your money now!" a familiar voice ordered.

I growled and elbowed an extra in the stomach, he fell over, right into a garbage can and rolled down the hill.

"Cut! Somebody get Roy out of the garbage can!" shouted the director.

They had to get a new extra as to Roy suffered from amnesia.

Chapter 2:

A week had passed since our arrival, I had found that Kagome kept on disappearing and not coming back for days. Her mother told me she had been going off with a boy with cute ears. I was just as stunned as the next person when Ryoku blurted out Inu-Yasha. And to everyone's surprise, her mother nodded and said that seemed to be his name! We decided to look upon it further and one night, I did.

It was a stuffy night, one that woke me up to get some fresh air, once outside, I saw a red blur go into Kagome's room through her window. I went inside and ran to her room, which was unlocked, as usual.

I opened the door to see a boy with dog ears in a haori talking to Kagome, what's more, she was packing her bag!

"Inu-Yasha." I called, they froze.

"Kagome, who's this wench and what's she doing here!

Silence.

Haruna, knowing Inu-Yasha forgot the lines, stated

"I knew about it already… You cheated on a priestess named Kikyo, with THAT GUY!!! Dun dun dun!!!" she said, pointing to Sesshoumaru, who was standing off set eating chocolate Pocky in jeans and a t-shirt.

"Hmm?" he asked, a stick of Pocky still in his mouth, he looked confused and played along, "You were straight all along, you never told me! Well, I never!" he said in a huffy voice and came over, slapping Inu-Yasha in the face, "This relationship is OVER!" he declared dramatically he turned on Haruna to get her back for pointing out him.

"Hey, you're kind of cute!" he exclaimed to Haruna.

He picked her up bridal style and ran of yelling "MINE, MINE, MINE!!!" repeatedly, leaving Haruna in complete shock.

Everybody broke out laughing and they had to remove Sesshoumaru because everybody cracked up once he entered the room.

Chapter 3:

I landed with a thud in the middle of a forest clearing. I glanced around and shivered, it was cold since I was only wearing a t-shirt and a long skirt. I still could not believe that worked, I pulled on the sweater I had around my waist and started to walk in the direction I faced while I landed, it should lead me to something.

Sure enough, a handsome young monk was leading me to his camp in a matter of moments. His name was Miroku, he told me about the void in his right hand and how it came to be so. Once I heard of Naraku, I knew I should follow him.

"Since I would eventually get sucked into the void myself, someday, I wonder… Since I need a heir, would you do me the honor of bearing my first born child?" he asked.

Haruna could see that Inu-Yasha had forgotten his lines and took the liberty of making fun.

"Sure, let's make one right now!" she declared, only to have Sesshoumaru run on stage again with chocolate Pocky in his mouth to pick her up again and say

"Well, don't look so offended, I DID say she was mine." to Miroku

Then he ran off again with Haruna yelling "LET ME GO, LEMME GO!!!" over Sesshoumaru's "MINE, MINE, MINE!!!" the whole way.

Haruna had to be rescued again and Inu-Yasha was warned to remember his queue next time.

Chapter 4:

Shippou first ran over and asked for candy, only a second after the words came out of his mouth, a swarm of demons barged in and everything was a blur, thankfully, I never took off my backpack… All I could remember was riding on a two-headed dragon with a toad thing… I was a bit of a realist and I could take the fact that Inu-Yasha was real, but THIS?!

In a matter of moments we arrived at a huge looming palace, it had a sinister look about it, or maybe it was just the full moon. What ever it was gave me Goosebumps and made me cower. The dragon landed rather roughly, sending flying across the floor, ramming headlong into a wall next to the feet of somebody that I hadn't noticed was there.

The somebody was a he, err… at least I THINK it's a he… What with the long silver hair and eye shadow and markings… But regardless, he WAS pretty good looking, even hot if he put on the right clothes…

"You're not the girl I asked for." he said calmly.

Haruna saw another mistake, she turned to Jaken in confusion but decided to not put it into notice.

She, instead, went over to him and said, "Well, I'm yours, remember?" causing Sesshoumaru to become speechless.

She then kissed him full on the mouth and before she could do anything more, they were pried apart by an angry manager. And Sesshoumaru picked her up and excused himself in his monotone voice and walked a ways before breaking off into a run and making a beeline for his car. All the while yelling "MINE, MINE, MINE!".

The production was delayed again, for OBVIOUS reasons.

A cut out scene: Sesshoumaru's get back:

Sesshoumaru slowly inched into Haruna's room while she was sleeping, and drenched her with a bucket of ice cold water, what's more, he took all her clothes away except for her underwear and bra.

"Lord Sesshoumaru-sama?" she asked sweetly, while shivering.

"What is it?" he asked, he was sitting in her room.

"Could we go to your room and…" She broke off, forgetting the lines.

"Well, if you want me that badly…" he sighed, reluctant, "But I must tell you, I already have a girl friend who won't even make out with me!" he declared.

He picked her up and ran into the room, leaving Haruna to shout "Lemme GO!!!" repeatedly.

When the got there, Sesshoumaru turned on the CD player and it played `Complicated' by Avril Lavigne, he shrugged and started to dance around the room, fake playing a guitar and occasionally jumping on the bed.

The scene was deleted and the room was never used because everyone started to laugh once they entered the room or heard that song.

Chapter 5:

I was stunned that he would apologized to me, ME, not any girl, but me! The girl nobody notices, and him being the supreme ruler of the western lands and all… I was shocked and was just about to ponder his age when Rin begged me to tell her another story. I decided to tell her about Cinderella, subconsciously picturing Sesshoumaru as my prince. I admit I had built up some walls to keep me from the last time I fell head over heels in love. I was in the ninth grade, just a freshman, a boy in grade twelve had asked me to go out with him. Not only was he popular, and good looking, but he was a football player too! I was immediately entranced by him but found out his intentions (he just wants to screw -_-;) the only reason he went for me was because my head was too far in the clouds to notice. Good thing he never got his way, because I finally was convinced by the last girl he dumped after using her and finally I left him. After that, I couldn't help but feel that way about all guys being that way. And Sesshoumaru no different, he's probably even worse… I suddenly realized that and started to build the walls again, but letting a window of possibility shine through. Plus, my father and mother got separated and he got another woman pregnant, she died in childbirth and we got landed with him after mom let him come back. That just made me build more walls…

I was pulled out of my thoughts with Sesshoumaru entering the room, I couldn't bring myself to look at him, afraid I might start liking him again. He must have noticed the silence because Rin had drifted off to sleep and I was deep in thought, looking at the ceiling, trying to be intrigued by the patterns.

"Haruna…" he started, my heart did a flip, `He said my name… NO! Get a hold of yourself, girl!' I thought.

"What is it, Sesshoumaru-sama?" I asked.

"You can just call me Sesshoumaru if you want…" he said, sounding defeated.

"What if I wanted to call you Fluffy, or something…" she replied, not knowing about the wrong lines she said…

Sesshoumaru played along.

"I order you to call me a sex god." he said in the most condescending tone he could muster.

They had to get Haruna away before he could run off again yelling "MINE, MINE, MINE!!!" like he did the first few times.

Chapter 6:

Naraku (Yes, the actual guy) appeared along with everybody else, Kohaku, again, was first, but Inu-Yasha hung him in a tree again. Kikyo aimed at Inu-Yasha with her arrow, which missed be an inch. Naraku, not knowing of Sesshoumaru's presence, attacked Inu-Yasha headlong, only to be stroked down by Sesshoumaru again. Kikyo then aimed at Sesshoumaru, missing this time by meters, Kagura brew up a storm, preventing Inu-Yasha from using the wind scar, which Sesshoumaru countered with another storm, making the wind scar obvious. Kohaku fell down from the tree and was whipped into the storm.

"Erm… I don't think that's supposed to happen." Sesshoumaru commented.

They had to replace Kohaku with a lighter stunt double that wouldn't break the branch.

Chapter 7:

To her joy and horror, a rather perverted look came across his face, "Sesshoumaru! Try to be serious here…" she scolded.

"Pull the arrow out, it is merely pinning me in place." he said, she remembered, in his human-like form, he would be only paralyzed, like Inu-Yasha was to the spirit tree.

She pulled it out and smiled as he got back up.

"I had to get you back for insulting me the other day." he said.

"You scared me!" she yelled.

"AND I got you to admit you love me, isn't life grand?" he asked.

His eyes flashed red.

"Okay, Haruna, I am going to turn into my true form, don't be alarmed, I won't hurt you." he said, she nodded, realizing he was only toying with Naraku.

She watched as he transformed into a huge white dog, she gasped and wondered what he could see beneath him from on top. Haruna blushed, knowing she just thought of another double entendre.

He started to battle with Naraku, and found it surprising that Naraku was not effected by the poison, he also noticed that he almost squashed Kagome and would need to get everyone out of the way. Haruna read his thoughts and started to move the battle elsewhere, leaving Inu-Yasha, Kikyo and Kagome behind a spirit barrier. To his surprise, Haruna came back, but was smart enough to hide behind the barrier as well.

Naraku set demons at Sesshoumaru, but he used his poison to destroy them all…

*Ring, ring*

*Everyone checks their cell phone.*

Sesshoumaru returns to normal and picks up his cell.

"Hello? Oh, hi mom!" he said, everyone snickered.

"When will I bring my new girl friend to meet you? I can't set a date now! I'm in the middle of a fight scene here!" he whined, Haruna walked over and smiled.

"Let me have the phone." she said, easing it out of his hand.

"Hello! It's Haruna! Oh, hi! Urm… isn't that kinda personal???" she asked.

"Umm…" Sesshoumaru mumbles, taking the cell away.

"Mother, you can't just go on and ask a person if they have STDs or not!" he hissed.

"By the way, for her information, I happen to believe in monogamy and also in chastity until marriage!" she stated to the phone.

"Haruna!" Sesshoumaru said.

"Well I do!" she countered.

"But everybody else doesn't know that, including me!" he replied.

"Yeah, but didn't you start to wonder when I started to push you away when---" she started, only to have Sesshoumaru clap a hand over her mouth.

"Bye mom, I gotta go!" he quickly said and hung up the phone.

Chapter 7: Retake

She went over and yanked hard at the arrow, only to see that it was stuck. She sighed and proceeded to attempt in yanking out the arrow, to no avail. Everyone stopped their actions and watched Haruna's interesting temper tantrum. She finally decided to go through with a different approach and straddled Sesshoumaru, much to his delight, and gave a good yank. The arrow came free and Haruna was thrown across the grass in the effort. She got up, arrow in hand, and ran off set doing a victory dance.

They had to catch her and bring her back, with her in hysterics.
