Shank you people for all your reviews, I cherish them. Sorry about the Araki flourished A/N. That may have made people mad so now I would personally like to thank each of my reviewers,

 

First off is Araki. She reviewed a lot, they always made me laugh and I was very excited to see what she would review next.

 

Next, would be my firstest reviewer katiepatie, she came in hyper (as me most of the time) and was real nice! I hope she still reads this.

 

Inu_Sesshy91 reviewed next and though she didn't say much, I really appreciated it!

 

Yessica was the next person to review (other then Araki) I thinks she likes it.

So shank you to the people who've reviewed, I love all my reviewers the hyped us super crazy ones (Which I thank for letting me know there's people like me in the world) and the nice respectful ones (which gives me hope that there is some good in the world.) I know that it sounds like it's the end, but I hope this fan fiction will come to 16 chapters! So there will be penalty time to review if you didn't ::Hint hint wink wink::

 

Anyways, clearing that up, I just wanted to let you know that sometime soon I'll be putting up another story; I will either write about one of the following:

Chapter 9

 

Henchmen's Challenge

The group had a good well rested night, (Kat: Yeah right) and were on their way the next morning, off to fight Kenija. Now that most distractions were taken care of they should be able to rip right in there and kill his ass. Party, and have fun. But no one was thinking of that; most thoughts were on last nights the heated scenes in the forest couldn't shake any of the young couple's thoughts.

 

Of course Shippo Yura and Sukki were obvious to what happened last night, but oh boy did they have their ideas, and no they were not sharing. With anyone even amongst themselves, so the journey was pretty much silent everyone lost in their own thoughts. Which when some one did speak it made them all jumpy.

 

Shippo had just noticed everyone was looking around as though they did something and were afraid of being caught. He had that look once when he had stolen a piece of candy from Kagome, and she didn't find out about it. She probably wouldn't have but he was jumpy and shifty and when she had asked what's wrong he spilled his guts to her.

 

He went over to Inu-Yasha, jumping on people's shoulders as if they were stepping stones but they really didn't seem to notice. He sat on Inu-Yasha's head he might as well get some fun out of him, it was boring when no on was talking, he looked to see Kagome she looked zoned off. He wondered why Inu-Yasha hadn't hit him off yet, he shrugged he should get to work.

 

“What `ca steal?” Shippo whispered into Inu-Yasha's ear, Inu-Yasha didn't hear him the first time. Shippo sighed, he too must be all dazed off like the rest of them, it won't be good if we get in trouble, so it justifies my actions, and it helps the group. He smiled at him self for making it seem nicer to make fun of Inu-Yasha.

 

“Inu-Yasha.” He whispered again, into Inu-Yasha's ear that got his attention and he replied with an all too familiar grunt. “What `ca steal?” Shippo asked, causing Inu-Yasha to give a startled yelp. No one seemed to notice, that wasn't good.

 

“What do you mean Shippo!?” Inu-Yasha said clearly trying to hide his anger but was horribly failing. “I mean you guys are all shift eyed and dazed looking, it's like me when I took that Candy bar so I just wanted to know what `ca all stole.”

 

Inu-Yasha gritted his teeth, “Nothing Happened, back in the forest that is any of your concern. So just drop it.” Shippo smirked, one the looked like Inu-Yasha's, even though he had 2 years of practice Shippo's smirk still needed to get more clever and devilish, right now he only looked like a little cocky fool.

 

“But I didn't ask anything about what happened in the forest. I asked why you were so jumpy and un-alert, I mean you're the leader of the group and you look so out of it, looking like you stole something. Gosh! When is it a crime for some one to ask a question!?” Shippo said, knowing that what he asked had to do with certain activities in the forest they were out there for a good hour yesterday doing Kami knows what.

 

He let out a low growl, giving Shippo a warning to drop his mind games. But to Shippo it told him he hit a nerve, giving his fool looking smirk again, he asked once more “So, What `ca steal?”

 

Inu-Yasha obviously wasn't in the mood for this, and was about to tear the little runt of his head and slam him to the ground, when Yura came up to him asking the same thing playing off of Shippo. “Yeah Inu-Yasha, Why are you guys so out of it? Did something happen?”

 

This wasn't good; Yura has always been one to pry any information out of him. She was the one who made him reveal his reasons to his friends all the time and kept Shippo off his back. But now that she was helping Shippo it couldn't be good. Only more trouble came as Kouga and Miroku joined in the taunting, but they were easy enough to take care of. He had to watch Yura.

 

“Yeah, Inu-Yasha” Kouga said “What happened?” Miroku finished for him, they sounded like best buddies that had hurt him a little, but he didn't show that. He gave them a glare, the showed his infamous smirk. “Oh, and what were you two doing?”

 

Yura didn't waste time to pack a punch to them and replied, “Mostly off sulking because they girls voted them smaller.” That caused both boys to blush and back off. Now she could have her prey all to her self, she loved prying information out of Inu-Yasha. To her it was a game, a fun game.

 

“So what happened?” Yura pressed further. “Well… I… um…” Yura smiled he was stammering, this was good; the information would be pouring out in seconds, just one more push. “You know if you don't want to tell me then I can just ask Kagome. I'm sure she wouldn't mind telling. I'll just have to ask her.”

 

Yura started to walk faster to catch up to Kagome who was in front; it seemed she walked faster when something was on her mind. “Kago--” Inu-Yasha had come up behind her clasping his hand around her mouth, “Don't you dare!” He said threatening her hoping she would be scared, Kagome would tell her. Girls told Girls what happened, and with Kouga around he really didn't need her to tell what happened last night.

 

Yura knew this trick wasn't going to work and so did he. He was just hoping she was afraid. But he forgot her background oh so quickly. She opened her mouth, and put on finger in it with her tongue. He still didn't seem to notice, he was lost in thought again. She opened wide then bit down with all her might, before he rushed his hand away she could taste blood.

 

“SHIT!” Inu-Yasha yelled pulling some people out of their day dreams to see what was happening; Kagome was too far ahead for it to happen to her. The recognized this as one Yura's tactics, and watched intensively. The show would start soon. Yura had hastened her walk and was catching up to Kagome, when Inu-Yasha grabbed her arm, and stopped. Causing everyone else to, Shippo was there ready to relay any information to the group. “Baka*” Yura mumbled, Inu-Yasha looked at her pleadingly.

 

“Wait, I'll do anything! What do you want?” He said in a hushed whisper but knew Shippo was relaying the conversation already. “Me? Oh, I don't know. I think that I might want…” She said tapping her chin, everyone was carefully listening to each word she spoke; usually it was something good and funny yet still she got what she wanted, Inu-Yasha should know by now. But then it always saved him for a few days.

 

“I want you to be Kagome's slave…” Inu-Yasha gave a sigh of relief, “But… Don't let her know… You don't have to listen to her when you're fighting enemies, and that doesn't mean Kouga.” The group snickered, they knew they were going into a fight that might be worse then Naraku's but it was still good to have laughs.

It was mid afternoon, and they found themselves, in an open area. Every one had been out of their dazes for a while watching Inu-Yasha, he was nervously tittering around Kagome, waiting for anything she said. He looked like a lost puppy, hoping to find a home. It was oddly unusual but Kagome, was still dreaming of last night, and what future she had with Inu-Yasha.

 

`Will he send me home again? I mean last night, but he could quickly change his mind about me, I mean we killed Naraku and that's got to mean some thing to demons right? He could also go out and get a good demon mate, like he told me I could get a better mate than him. But I want him… I wonder what our kids would look like. I hope they had his ears, that would be so kawaii*!'

 

Kagome suddenly felt some one staring at her, she felt un-nerved by it. She slowly turned her head to see Inu-Yasha fidgeting behind and the rest of the people giggling. “Inu-Yasha, tell me what's going on?” Yura grinned like a fool, one word ran though her mind `Perfect.'

 

Miroku looked at his poor friend, he was screwed. `If he tells her he breaks the deal, but if he doesn't he doesn't follow her whim which always breaks the deal.' Miroku shook his head, he was glad he didn't take the bet up with Yura; he'd owe her 1,121.90 yen. Something he didn't have.'

 

“Um… Well… I... The truth is---”

 

“Inu-Yasha, hand over the girl.” He was interrupted by a strange looking man, he was in a uniform much like Sango's demon exterminating one, except it was a hideous green, instead of pink. A `K' was on the front of it and the arms. He had short hair, and looked almost like Miroku.

 

Behind him, two more people game dressed the same as he, but had masks on. They all seemed to be male, but Kagome couldn't be too sure. They had weapons ready, much like Sukki's daggers. The lead one had a huge scythe, it was rusted and old, sort of a red-ish tint to it. Kagome may not have had demonic powers, but she could still smell the intoxicating scent of death blood and gore.

 

Inu-Yasha let a long deep growl escape his throat, “There is no way your taking Sukki!” The leading man laughed, “Come now Inu-Yasha, we are done with the little bitch.” Inu-Yasha opened to speak but Kagome had beaten him to it, she would have let Inu-Yasha go on, but Sukki had become a daughter for her, and her motherly instincts kicked in.

 

“I don't know who you think you are, but you have no right to talk to Sukki or anyone else like that. I could only think of what your mother would say if she saw you know, but you are too heartless to care about anyone! You think you are all that! You think that you can toy with anyone you want but you can't! You are the same as everyone else and there is no one on the earth that is lower or better than you! So you APOLOGIZE NOW!”

 

Kagome was screaming though the whole thing, the last words were ear-piercing her face red with anger. She was huffed over, and she was damn scary when she was giving the guy her lecture. She treated him like a kid, but she wasn't done with him yet.

 

“Name!” Kagome said sharply, the boy looked weird at her, he was a scared of her too. Inu-Yasha could smell it on him, it was thick. When he didn't reply, Kagome got only angrier. “I asked you your name, Damn it!” The boy look a little startled and fumbled over his words, “ Hanch.” Kagome looked him sharp in the eyes, “Apologize.”

 

He nodded and said “Sorry Sukki!” Kagome nodded and trotted off to Sukki, everyone making a mental note not to get Kagome really mad. “You Idiot!” a girl's voice came, though. “Hanch how could you do that! I swear Kenija will eat you alive!” Hanch turned to the `man' on his left, “Kelly what did you want me to do?” The girl dubbed as Kelly pulled of her mask, “Kill her ass; we need to grab the priestess and move!”

 

The un-named companion of the three, which was also a girl. “Ass wipe, that is the priestess. Get her and let's go!” The two bickering ones turned there head, exclaiming at the same time “Her! Dawn are you sure?” Sighing `Dawn' nodded, “He said, she'd be like that now I can't believe you fools. And he put Hanch in charge, he's an idiot.”

 

Inu-Yasha growled pulling the three's attention back to him, “You are all Idiots, Now listen here there is no way your getting, Kagome or anyone else for that matter.” Dawn smirked, “Yes. Yes we are.” Kouga looked over them, now that Kagome knew about the past she should be able to do tons of things with her priestess powers, it was 8 against 3, Shippo really didn't count but he could help. They were a bunch of idiots and way out numbered, there could be two to three people on them at a time.

 

Kouga snorted, “Your way out numbered.” Hanch laughed, “We could take you Inu-Yasha, and the monk on no problem.” Kat snorted. “What the hell do you think us women do? Stand around?” Hanch got a little sheepish, and nodded. “Well yeah…” Sukki snorted, “The only one that doesn't fight is Shippo,”

 

Hanch's eyes widened and his two companions rolled there eyes, muttering “Baka, Baka, Baka,” Inu-Yasha growled, pulling out his impressive weapon, “Let's get it started.”

-CLASH-

 

Inu-Yasha's sword clashed against Hanch's scythe, startling Kagome back to her duty, she shot out little energy balls, at Hanch. He released its captive from Inu-Yasha's sword, and he spun it around till Kagome's energy balls defeated, all the while dodging Inu-Yasha's attacks. They may be out numbered but they were good, they were bumbling idiots but when they started fighting that changed.

 

Kagome gasped, as Hanch sliced Inu-Yasha's shoulder, Inu-Yasha grunted but didn't show any other sort of pain. Kagome conjured up energy that was in the air, all the heat and hatred and fighting evil energy they gave off Kagome collected it, and spewed it at Hanch. He did his spinning trick, again all the energy was gone back into the air. He came swinging after Kagome, he got his scythe and put it up high, Kagome was backed up. She couldn't run.

 

Then she sent tiny balls at him, forcing him to spin the scythe again. Kagome ran this time, she looked for Inu-Yasha she saw Kelly, was attacking him gracefully dodging the attacks Sango Kat and Yura were throwing at her. Kagome ran, she would have to do this her self, but worrying about Inu-Yasha Kagome realized she had just backed her self up against a tree.

 

Away from the fighting by the forest, where she would have to use her own energy, for there was not enough in the air. She looked both ways, trees they were clustered there was no way to run back to the field where they were fighting and if she went into the forest he would catch her easily, and if she fended him off with her energy then she'd be tired, and would be an easy target. She was going down anyway; the she remembered she had a bow and arrows on her.

 

By the time she could get it aimed, he was there. “Now… Any last words?” Hanch questions. “You need me, you can't kill me!” Hanch smirked. “Kenija has a power like Sesshomaru's sword, as long as I get you back there with in an hour he can still bring you back, and well you need your head still attached.” He went to go swing his scythe, and Kagome closed her eyes.

 

“Ugh.” Kagome opened her eyes, a sword was right though Hanch's chest. Piecing him from the back straight though his heart. The sword was removed and Hanch fell on his knees, the over so he was lying on his stomach. Kagome looked up to see a battered and out of breath Inu-Yasha, standing there. He then swung Tetsusaiga, and cut of Hanch's head off, blood pouring from the wound, staining the grass killing it instantly.

 

“NOOOO! Hanch!” Kelly screamed, she was standing behind Inu-Yasha. She grabbed the bow off her back and aimed, Kagome still had hers aimed; she shot the arrow and yelled “Sit!” Bringing Inu-Yasha down at the dead boy's feet just as the arrow zinged by his head, almost purifying him.

 

It hit Kelly in the shoulder, causing her to drop her bow. She hissed in pain and the arrow lodged farther down, Kelly pulled out the arrow with a pain full yell, and grabbed her daggers, charging at them. Inu-Yasha was up, blocking the blows, a harsh clang sound anytime they collided, he was looking for an opening any opening. Kagome shot little balls out to her, but she moved out of the way. Kagome controlled them to come back, and they set a sizzling sound when coming in contact with her back.

 

She screamed in pain as she tried to get off her costume, before the acid like balls sizzled into her skin. She removed her suit, and Miroku would like what he had seen. She was in tight shorts that were more like daisy dukes*, and a little scrape of cloth that barely covered her breasts. The armor had demonic aura to it, so when the purify balls were dissolving it like acid.

 

She came at them full force, screaming a war cry. She sliced Inu-Yasha's already torn shoulder even more; a grunt was all she got. He sliced her leg, getting a sickening scream as the blood trickled down her pale leg, a set of claws crushed their way though her stomach, causing more blood to trickle down, leaving the hand soaking in blood. A gurgling sound was heard, as she coughed up some blood that had pooled in her mouth.

 

The claws receded, to see Kat as the culprit, Kat wiped her claws off the blood, it was stinging her and it sizzled on the grass staining it into a deep red color. “We lost Dawn. She just disappeared.” The looked at Kelly who was standing there holding her stomach, Kat took her claws and sliced her head off, it rolling a few feet away, knocking with Hanch's. He body had fallen similar to Hanch.

 

“We should get to the others.” Inu-Yasha said, the girls nodding showing they agreed. Kat ran ahead and then Inu-Yasha, Kagome bringing the tail. When she felt fingers over her mouth pulling her away, she did the trick Kat had pulled only a few hours ago. She bit down hard, and screamed for Inu-Yasha. She was burned up, with a pink light making it hard for Dawn to hold her but she managed.

 

“Kagome!” Inu-Yasha ran faster his legs burning, he ran faster and faster. “Kagome!” He pushed harder as he could see their disappearing figures, future into the forest Kagome's pink light going father and father from him. Kat was behind him screaming her name, again and again.

 

No more silhouettes or anything to go by, yet Inu-Yasha still ran. Kat screaming at him, she was following him. He stopped when he lost her scent Kenija's scent, everyone's except his own and Kat's. He fell to his knees, pounding on the ground tears slipping from his eyes. “BASTARDS!” he called, voice cracking.

 

Kat shook her head, and walked off. He would be back soon, but she hid in the bushes, making sure he didn't do anything, Kagome wasn't dead yet.

Hope you all liked it, I thought It would be good to have some humor in before a big fight, but let me tell you the story up ahead is going to take a turn up comedy street in a few chapters, I have a question for my readers, what are the 3 most hardest thing for the Inu-Gang to do? Your answers just may end up in the story. ::devilish grin::
