CHAPTER 13
The next day Inuyasha and everyone else set off again.“Inuyasha! Wait for us!” Kagome yelled running after Inuyasha.“I don’t have time to wait for you guys! Naraku’s sent is all over! I have to find him!” Inuyasha yelled as he ran through the woods. “I can also smell Kohaku.” He thought.“Kohaku, this time you will kill Inuyasha, Sango, Kagome, Shippo, and Miroku.” Naraku said. “Yes, master Naraku.” Kohaku said. “You better not fail me Kohaku, I know that you have been regaining your memorys of the past. If you try to save Sango and her friends I will have to kill you. Because I know that you are hiding your feelings for her from me.” Naraku said.“I will kill Sango, Miroku, Inuyasha, Kagome, and Shippo without fail master Naraku.” Kohaku said.“Good. Now go!” Naraku said.“Why is Inuyasha in such a rush to get to Naraku? He usually always waits for us.” Kagome thought. “Kagome why wont Inuyasha slow down and wait for us?!?” Shippo asked. “I don’t know.” Kagome said.“Don’t you think Inuyasha is acting odd.” Miroku asked Sango.“Yes, its almost like he is trying to get to Naraku before we do.” Sango said.“Look out Sango!” Kagome yelled.Kohaku was running right for Sango.“What.” Sango thought. “He’s alive!”“Sango run!” Shippo yelled.But she was too late. Kohaku had already gotten to her and slashed a huge cut in her right arm.“AHHH!” Sango yelled. “Kohaku…”Inuyasha was getting close to Naraku’s castle when all of a sudden there was a fade sent of Sango’s blood in the air.“Damn it! Kohaku must of gotten to them!” Inuyasha said. “But I cant go back now. I have to kill Naraku.”Inuyasha turned around and noticed that there was a barrier in front of Naraku’s castle.“What! Damn a barrier.” Inuyasha said.“Sango!” Kagome yelled and ran over to Sango’s side.“How is he still alive.” Sango thought.Kohaku was now going after Miroku.“I will use my wind tunnel to suck up his weapon.” Miroku thought.Just then Naraku’s poisonous insects surrounded Kohaku.“Miroku no!” Shippo yelled. “You will suck up all the insects and get poisoned again!”“Damn.” Miroku thought.“Iron Rebor Soul Sealer!” Inuyasha yelled and just missed Kohaku by a hair.“Inuyasha Kohaku is still alive!” Kagome yelled still by Sango’s side.“Yeah I can kind of see that!” Inuyasha yelled back at Kagome.All of a sudden a demon came down from the sky. Kohaku jumped up on it and flew away.“Sango lets clean your wound.” Kagome said.“How….how can he still be alive?” Sango asked looking up in the sky.“Who knows.” Inuyasha said.The next day Sango was laying up agenst a tree.“Does Naraku have the power to bring people back to life now?” Sango thought as she picked the pedles off a flower.“Sango.” Kagome’s voice came from in the hut. “Come here, lets clean your wounds again to relive some of the pain.”“Ok, coming.” Sango said.“Kagome.” Sango said.“Yes.” Came the reply.“Do you think Naraku gained the power to bring people back to life?” Sango asked with a conserned look on her face.“Its possible. But I’m not sure.” Kagome said in a raspy voice.“Kagome, why is your voice so raspy?” Sango asked looking at Kagome in concern.“I must be coming down with a swore throat.” Kagome said trying not to talk to much.“Will you need to rest for this sickness?” Sango asked.“No I shouldn’t talk much though otherwise I might loose my voice.” Kagome said.“Ok then don’t talk at all until your are better.” Sango saidKagome nodded.“Miroku.” Inuyasha said.“Yeah.” Miroku said as he was walking into the hut.“Do you….oh never mind.” Inuyasha said.“What where you going to say?” Miroku asked.“Oh its nothing just forget it.” Inuyasha said sitting down by Kagome.Inuyasha now turning over to Kagome. “Kagome Will you fry some fish over the fire tonight if I go and get some?” Inuyasha asked with hunger in his eyes.Kagome nodded.“Great!” Inuyasha yelled in joy and got up.As Inuyasha walked out of the hut Kagome sighed and looked at Sango. Miroku then got up and sat down by Kagome, he then turned to her.“Wail Inuyasha goes and gets our dinner do you want to play that card game you taught me a few weeks ago?” Miroku asked. He had already gotten into Kagome’s backpack to get the playing cards out.Kagome just nodded.“Hey why aren’t you talking? All you have been doing lately is nodding. What’s wrong Kagome?” Shippo asked walking in the hut with Kirara in his arms.Kagome just looked at Shippo.“Hello?! Kagome answer me!” Shippo said as he put Kirara down.Kagome then looked away and sighed. Then she looked at Sango.Sango returned the look and nodded.“Shippo, Miroku.” Sango said.“Yes.” They both answered at the same time.“Kagome has come down with a sickness….” Sango started but couldn’t finish, because she was interrupted.“What! Kagome is sick! She needs medicine!” Miroku yelled and got up.“WAIT! I am don’t done!” Sango yelled. “Kagome has a sore throat so she can’t talk at all in order for her throat to heal.” Sango finished.Miroku then sat back down. “Oh. That’s why your not talking.”Kagome nodded then looked down. “Its hot in here.” Kagome thought. Then she took her sweeter off. Just as Kagome did that Inuyasha came in the hut.“I started the fire so everything is all set.” Inuyasha said and handed the dead fish over to Kagome. Kagome grabbed the fish and walked out of the hut near the fire.“Inuyasha Kagome is sick.” Shippo said.“What!” Inuyasha yelled ready to run out and get Kagome.“But wait! She has a sore throat so she can’t talk. If she does she will loose her voice.” Shippo said pulling on Inuyasha’s leg.“Oh I see.” Inuyasha said pulling Shippo off his leg.Inuyasha walked out of the hut.
