CHAPTER 15Once they got to Keade’s village Inuyasha was conscious and Kaede was wrapping him up with some cloth. “So ye Kagome was the one who destroyed Naraku?” Kaede asked.“Yes.” Miroku said.“HUMPH!” Inuyasha grunted.“INUYASHA WOULD YOU STOP IT! YOU SHOULD OF SEEN THE WAY SHE WAS! SHE WAS REALLY MESSED UP! WHEN SHE SAW YOU BEING KILLED BY NARAKU!” Sango yelled and stormed out of the hut.“She is right Inuyasha! Just be happy that Naraku is gone!” Miroku yelled as he got up and fallowed Sango.“They are right Inuyasha ye need to grow up! Ye is just upset, because ye weren’t the one who killed Naraku.” Kaede said as she finished putting the cloth around Inuyasha.Kagome was still unconscious. Kaede got up and went out of the hut.“The others are right. I should just be happy that Naraku is dead.” Inuyasha said looking down at Kagome. “Kagome.”Kagome herd Inuyasha say her name. She opened her eyes.“I….Inu…yasha?” Kagome studdered.Kagome was still wearing Inuyasha’s shirt. It was getting dark out and it was the night of the new moon. Inuyasha turned into his human form and then put his white shirt on. Blood was on his shirt still from the other night. Same with Kagome, she also had blood on Inuyasha’s red shirt. Kagome slowly got up and went over to lay by Inuyasha. Kagome smiled at him. Inuyasha smiled back.“Oh Inuyasha! I thought you where going to die!” Kagome said crying.“Don’t cry Kagome. Its ok.” Inuyasha said wrapping his arms around her.Kagome was happy that Inuyasha was embracing her like this. Kagome lay on Inuyasha’s lap and fell asleep.“Miroku.” Sango said.“Yes.” Came the reply.“What do you think is going to happen now that Naraku is gone? Are we all going to go our separate ways now? Or stay together?”“I am not sure Sango.” Miroku said looking into the night sky.“KAGOME!!!!” Shippo yelled in excitement as he ran into the hut. “What happened? I herd you killed Naraku! Tell me everything!” Shippo was talking so fast he almost fell over.This startled Kagome and she got up from Inuyasha’s lap and told Shippo everything. “Wow! Did all that really happen?!?!” Shippo asked, his eyes where wide.“Ha ha…yeah it did.” Kagome said.“Whoa.” Shippo said. “Well I am going outside to play with Kirara. See you guys later!”Once Shippo was out of the hut Inuyasha leaned over and kissed Kagome. Kagome kissed him back. Then Inuyasha got up and Kagome fallowed Inuyasha out of the hut, past the woods and then he sat down on a hill side. Kagome sat down by him and then she laid down on his lap. They where both looking up at the stars.“Do you think that the dream we both had will come true.” Kagome asked.“I hope so.” Inuyasha said looking down at Kagome smiling.“Me too. But not for awhile yet.” She laughed.Inuyasha just smiled. Kagome smiled back up at him. Then she got up and kissed him.The next morning Kagome and Inuyasha got up.“Oh my god! Kagome! I just remembered something!” Inuyasha said.“What?” She asked.“The jewel shard!” He yelled.Kagome dug into Inuyasha’s shirt.“Kagome what the hell are you doing?” Inuyasha asked with wide eyes getting kind of nervous.Then Kagome held out the jewel shard. It was whole once again. Inuyasha’s eyes got wider once he saw the jewel. It looked just as it did 50 years ago.“What do you think we should do with it?” Sango asked as she came walking into the hut.“I…I don’t know.” Kagome said.All Inuyasha did was stare at the jewel.“I think Kagome should keep it, because it was in her body to begin with.” Miroku said.“Then that is what I will do.” Kagome said smiling. “I still think we should use the jewel for something. But I don’t know what.”Kagome then looked over at Inuyasha.“You are NOT going to use it to become a full demon Inuyasha!” Kagome said.“I know, I don’t want to anymore.” Inuyasha said. Kagome got up and started to walk.“Where are you going?” Inuyasha yelled running after her.“I know what to do with the jewel.” Kagome said still walking.Once Kagome got to Kaede’s hut she went inside.“Kaede.” Kagome said.“Yes child.” Came the reply.“Can I brake the Jewel into two separate fragments?” Kagome asked.“Well….yes ye may, but ye have to carefully chip the jewel until it brakes in two. The jewel will have half of its power in one half and the other half of the power in the other.” Kaede explained.“Ok. Can you give me something so I can carefully brake it?” Kagome asked.“Yes.” Kaede said reaching for a small sharp rock. “Here ye go.”“Thanks!” Kagome said running out of the hut.“WHY DO YOU WANNA BRAKE IT!?!?!” Inuyasha yelled.“You will see. Now be quiet!” Kagome said.About an hour later the jewel was in 2 halves.“Wait! What was I thinking!” Kagome screamed. “I didn’t need to brake it!”“Well…its your fault!” Inuyasha yelled.Kagome got up and went over to Sango.“Sango when we were battling Naraku the other day, I saw Kohaku in the castle.” Kagome said.“What!” Sango said turning her attention to Kagome.“He was dead Sango.” She said. “But I want to use the jewel to bring him back.” Kagome said smiling.“REALLY! You would do that for me?” Sango said, tears were beginning to form in her eyes.“Of course, Sango you are my best friend and if I use it to bring Kohaku back to life, the jewel will purify. It will be gone forever!” Kagome said.“Then lets go back to the castle.” Sango said. “You guys wait here.”So Kagome and Sango got on Kirara and flew off to the castle. Once they got there Kagome ran into the castle. Sango waited on Kirara. Once Kagome got to where Kohaku was laying she put the jewel in the wound on his back. A bright light came up and then disappeared. Kohaku got up and looked around.“Sango! Sango where are you!” Kohaku yelled with tears in his eyes.Sango herd Kohaku crying and ran into the castle.“Oh Kohaku! I’m here!” Sango yelled and hugged him.“Oh Sango I am sorry about Naraku and killing father and the villagers!” Kohaku cried.“Its ok I forgive you, you where being controlled and you couldn’t help it.” Sango cried. “Lets go Kagome.”“Come on Kohaku!” Sango yelled.“Coming!” he yelled following Sango over to Kirara.
