They say that eyes
are windows to your soul
your eyes that once were so pale and cold
have so much more to show

so full of emotion
so full of hope
telling all the pain you've seen
and how you've had to cope

i see that your once torn heart
i was able to mend
now dancing with bright white flames
i long to get lost within

now shining with hope
willing to forget the past
your bright eyes shine at me
but you joy leaves so fast

for a memory lingers
in the back of your mind
turning you so bitter
when you were once so kind

the photographic memory
torments and taunts
and you once pleasent dreams are nightmares
which she solomly haunts
