The Fading Journey

A/N: Hey everyone. I picked up some ideas from DBZ like the Capsules, so anything with Capsules belong to the DBZ creators so please don't sue cause I'm hella broke! Please Read and Review! Cause if I know you guys like it I'll keep writing!

Prologue

She was lost in a sea of clouds. Everywhere she went it was a dead end. After what seemed like hours, a voice spoke out of nowhere.

"Kagome! " It was her again. Ever since she began training, she has been hearing this voice.

"You must find the sacred Jewel. You must destroy the evil ones that seek it. You must save the innocent... and you must not fall in love with Inu..." Kagome rolled her eyes. It was the same damn thing every night. A hanyou could tire of the same old shit everyday.

'Who must I not fall in love with?' Kagome thought, even though the voice never could tell her. "Please you never finish his name, who is he, please tell me his name. " Kagome was now searching for the voice.

"I say his name not for it hurts me when I do. Remember I am part of you. For you carry my soul." 'She always says that shit!'

"If you are part of me then why can't I see you and why don't you tell me your name?" Kagome knew the answers already, because she asked the voice that every time it came to her.

" My name is of no importance. Just find the Jewel and don't fall in love! Never fall in love for it will break you down and make you weak. Be alone; die alone, for the rest of your life be alone! I bid you farewell, child, for my time is up." And with that the voice was gone again.

"Kagome! Kagome! Breakfast is ready and you have to go train with your father now." Kagome looked up at her clock.

'5am, god when will I ever get to sleep like a normal teenager?!' "Coming Mama!" Kagome jumped out of bed. Kagome had long black hair and crystal blue eyes.

She had to hurry. She knew if she was late her father would make her run from here to school and back 10 times. 'Having A Lord Inu Demon as a father is hard, but it has its advantages.' Kagome smiled she remember that one time when a cat demon came and pushed her down. At the time Kagome didn't know how to control her anger and so she got up and punched the neko bitch square in the nose.

The neko's father came and tried to punish Kagome by beating her senseless, but her father came and "set him straight". Before he left she heard him call her a dirty blood hanyou, and that she should never have been able to live since she was part miko. Kagome at the time didn't know what is meant to be called a hanyou. When she got home and she asked her mother and she started to cry. She then asked her father.

"My child, when you are older you'll understand. But remember that you will not always be loved and most of the world will turn their backs on you. But one day you'll find good friends. After that you'll feel better until you find your love and then you will feel complete and care not what others have to say. But till you find your love and your friends bare the pain. You will have to be strong."

Kagome's family then sealed her identity from the world. They used a concealing spell that made her human but to Inu demons they could smell what she really is.

'Dirty blood. One that should not be able to live' Kagome then punched the wall... 'I'll show them. I'll become strong and show them all!'

"Kagome what the hell was that noise!" Her mother screamed from the kitchen.

'Shit now mama is going to kill me!' "Nothing Mama I was just practicing and I kind of punched the wall." Kagome knew if she told her mother the truth her mom would only be sad because she thought it was her fault that the world has turned their back on her daughter. Kagome then heard her mother coming up the stairs and in a matter of seconds she was in Kagome's room.

"Shit..." Her mother whispered softly. If it wasn't for Kagome standing next to her she would of never heard her.

"Mama, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to..." Kagome was then cut off when her mother pushed her. As if on cue a demon entered through the hole, which got bigger when it crashed through it, and slammed into Kagome's mother.

"RUN KAGOME!" her mother was in pain and Kagome knew it. One thing she could not stand is seeing her family in pain.

Kagome then let her sealing spell wear off. Her once normal nails and teeth were replaced with claws and fangs. Her long black hair grew a little bit shorter and was braided back, and two long silver strands hung loosely in the front of her face. Then claw marks appeared on her face. Her body then became leaner then before.

"I knew I would find you here hanyou." The demon was Mistress Centipede.

"What business do you have here you old Hag?" Kagome had a smirk on her face. She knew this demon was no trouble.

"I want the part of the Shikon No Tama you have!" Kagome looked at the Demon.

'What the fuck is she talking a bout?' Kagome looked at her mother and saw that she all of a sudden turned pale.

"Alright you old Bitch give me my mother back!" Kagome screamed. She needed to kill this monster fast so she could see what her mother knew about the Shikon no Tama she supposedly had.

"What if I refuse? What can a hanyou like you do? You should have been killed long ago, but no one would try since you are the daughter of the Lord of the Eastern Lands. But your father is not here, nor shall he come back!" The Centipede looked at her prey.

"WHAT THE FUCK HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY FATHER?" Kagome looked ready to kill.

"He has been taken away for the moment. Your mother shall be coming with us, but unfortunately you die her and now! So prepare your self you dirty blooded BITCH!" The centipede then dove at Kagome, which she easily dodged. Kagome turned around and clawed the Centipede. She then took her other hand and stuck it through the monsters eye. Kagome twisted it until she was satisfied. It screamed so loud it hurt Kagome's ears. The monster knew that if she did not think fast she would lose, so it did the only thing she knew that would work:

She went after Kagome's mother.

Kagome looked at the monster. 'It's planning something I know it!' 'Wait...' Kagome then realized what she was after... it was her mother.

"MOM GET OUT OF THE WAY!" The Centipede was now trying to eat her mom. Just inches away from her mom's face, Kagome ran in front of her. The monster then bit Kagome's side and threw her up in the air. After blood gushing out a fragment of a Jewel popped out of her. 'Is that the Shikon No Tama?' Kagome fell to the ground. The Centipede then ate the Jewel.

"Now I will transform and kill you all!" The Demon spoke some words of truth. She did transform to an ugly hag, but she was still no match for Kagome.

Before the centipede could attack, Kagome attacked first. "RIPPING RAGING CLAWS" Kagome tore the demons into two pieces. The centipede's blood spilled everywhere. On the floor was on of the Monster's eye. Kagome took her foot and slammed it onto the eye. "Stupid Hag, I told you were no match for me!"

'Great now I'll have to reshampoo my carpet.' Kagome thought. She then walked up and picked up the Jewel. 'This came from my body. Is this really part of the Shikon No Tama?' Kagome then put her concealing spell back on and put the Jewel in her pocket. Kagome then tried to run to her mother, but then three demons appeared blocking her way.

"I see you killed one of our generals." This voice was a women's voice but she sounded so cold and deep you could of thought it was a man…

"What's it to you, bitch?" Kagome knew she shouldn't have said that, but her pride was too strong. She was knocked down in a flash and she felt like she couldn't move.

"BITCH? GET IT STRAIGHT PUP ITS KAGURA AND THE ONLY BITCHES I SEE HERE ARE YOUR MOTHER AND YOU!" Kagura was very intimidating. If Kagome could get up she would have kicked her ass for calling her mother that, but Kagura hit her way too hard and Kagome was going nowhere.

"Kagura take the miko. We need to leave." The second voice was of a male. "Kanna go down and help take in the lord." He told the other person.

The third shadow stepped out and it was of a little girl. The child then went out the hole to help the others. "Master, shall we kill the hanyou?" Kagura was eager to end the pup's life; she hated anyone that called her names.

"No leave her, she won't be much trouble." With that the man left leaving Kagura, Kagome, and Kagome's mom. Kagura picked up Kagome's mom up and started to leave. While Kagura wasn't looking Kagome's mom ripped off a golden key with jewels on it from her neck.

"Kagome you will find all answer's in the training room!" "Please forgive me my child!" Kagura then slapped the woman in the face. With that Kagome's mom was knocked out. 'Stupid bitch was screaming in my ears!' Within seconds Kagome could no longer see them. After that she passed out.

Kagome woke up about two hours later. She still had the worst headache in the world and the smell of blood was making her sick. Then the morning's events played through her head.

'Mama, Papa. I let you guys down cause I was too weak.' Kagome was about to start crying when she remembered her father's words. "Bear the pain. Be strong." With that Kagome got up. She glanced in her hand and saw the key her mother threw to her. "The answers are in the training room."

'Training room? I've been in there a million times but I don't remember.... Then Kagome did remember something.

"Hey Sis, what do you think is at the bottom of the training pool?" Kagome's little 6-year-old brother Souta asked her.

"Maybe monsters that will come eat you!" An 8-year-old Kagome told her little brother.

"Quit it or I'll tell mama and papa!" Souta screamed at his sister.

"Well guess what Souta their not home so Ha!" Kagome stuck out her tongue in triumph.

"So but Grandpa is here!" Souta looked happy when he saw his sister pout.

"Tell and I'll claw your..." Before Kagome could finish Souta was running back into living room trying to get their grandfather. 'Why that little squealer' Kagome thought. She was about to run after him when she realized something was on the floor. It was the shape of a keyhole. Kagome stared at it for a moment until something broke her thoughts.

"Kagome, time for lunch!" Her grandfather called from the kitchen.

"Coming, Gramps!" Kagome called back. After that Kagome ran up to kitchen to eat. Ever since then she had never thought of that keyhole again.

Kagome was glad that Souta was off visiting his friends. She would have trouble explaining this to him. Kagome got up. First she needed to clean herself, and then get in the pool in the training room. Kagome thought for a second. Before she was going to go in that room she needed to call someone..... Sango.
