After leaving the police station, Sango headed back to her home. Once she pulled up in her driveway, she got out of her brand new mercedes binz and walked into her house.

It was huge. About the same size as Kagome's, which was pretty damn big.

She walked inside and headed for the stairs, aiming for her room. Her room was second on the right. It was also of a very good size. Her walls were a soft blue along with her carpet. She had a queen sized bed on the far wall to her right. She walked over to it and sat down on it's snow white comferter.

She was about to call Kagome and tell fer that she was going to go to the camp too, but decided to surprise her. So she stood up and started packing her clothes.

~At Kagome's~

"Uh, sure. I meen yea, let me get those."

Kouga said picking up Kagome's bags and walked outside to put them in the car that they would be using to get to the bus the next day.

"Thanks, so what time are you going to be here in the morning?"

Kagome asked curiously as they stood beside the car. Oh, well I decided I was going to sleep in the car."

Kouga said looking down at his feet.

"What? I'm not going to let you sleep in your car."

Kagome said pushing Kouga into her huge house.

"Finewith me as long as you don't try anything."

Kouga laughed jokingly as he walked into Kagome's house.

"Ha ha ha. Your so funny."

Kagome said sarcastically as she showed Kouga where he could sleep.

~The Next Day~

"Ok, so your sure that this Hakaku guy will take good car of everything?"

Kagome asked as they made their way to the bus.

"Yea, there's no doubt in my mind. This guy is the most trustworthy man for the job."

Kouga answered as they pulled into the parking lot next to the bus that was waiting for all of the other's to arrive.

"Good, because if he doesn't, it's going to be your head."

Kagome said sarcastically, but for some reason Kouga couldn't help but hope that Hakaku didn't screw up.

"Uh...yea."

Kouga tried to sound normal.

"Are you ok? You look kinda weird. You didn't think I was serious did you?"

Kagome asked as Kouga got out of the car and headed to her side of the car to help her out.

Inu Yasha drove through the gate into the parking lot and parked his car beside the bus when another car pulled in.

He watched as the car stoped and looked to see who it was. Unfortunitaly the car windows were tinted so he would have to wait tell the passengers got out to see who was inside.

The drivers side door opened and a police officer with long dark hair oulled up in a high ponytail steped out and made his way to the passenger side door.

When the dark haired man got out, Inu Yasha could hear part of what was being said.

"Are you ok? you look kinda weird. You didn't think I was serious did you?"

An obvious feminine voice said. That was all that Inu Yasha could hear before the officer closed the dorr. The officer opened the passenger side door and said,

"Uh...of course not. I don't come off as that gulable do I?"

Kouga asked as he held out a hand to help Kagome out.

"Ok, whatever. I guess I can sound kinda scary sometimes. So I probably did sound like I ment it, even if I was being sarcastic."

Kagome laughed as Kouga helped her out of the car.

"Umm.....don't be silly. I don't think you sound the least bit scary."

Kouga said as he watched the blush spread across Kagome's cheeks.

Inu Yasha watched with interest at the scene before him.

He recognized the girl as Kagome Higurashi from the information papers he was looking over the night before.

"Wow, she really is beautiful. I havent been interested in any girl for a long time. There must be something wrong with me."

Inu Yasha said to himself as he watched them have their conversation,obvious to his presence until Kouga closed the door and saw Inu yasha eyeing Kagome.

Kouga figured Kagome wasn't interested in him, but he was slightly mad that this man was watching her so closely.

A/N~ I know from how this is going that you all probably think this is a Kouga/Kagome fic, but let me remind you that this is an Inu Yasha/Kagome fic all the way^_^

Inu Yasha noticed the police officer watching him angrily, and figured he was mad that he was watching Kagome, but from the looks of it the plice officer obviously liked Kagome, but she didn't seem to be interested in anythingbut friendship.

inu Yasha gave Kouga one last glance before turning away to avoid Kagome seeing him watching her.

"Kouga? Kouga? Hello, anyone home in there?"
Kagomesaid snaping her fingers and waving her hands in front of his face.

"Uh..oh yea. I'm home. Sorry lost in thought."

Kouga said trying to forget about the man that had been watching Kagome.

She may not be interested in me now, but she will be soon enough. And even if she isn't I'll have her anyway."

Kouga thought to himself as they walked toward the bus when other cars started pulling in.

~On The Bus~

"Hey Inu Yasha, hows it going?"

Miroku asked as he walked up to Inu Yasha as they boarded the bus.

"Pretty good. So have you talked to Shippo yet?"

Inu yasha asked as they sat down in the back of the bus.

"Yea. I told him what happened, so he'll take care of everything while were gone. I know how long I'll be there, but how long will you be there?"

Miroku said taking a seat next to Inu Yasha.

"8 months. I'll be there half a month longer than you."

Inu Yasha explained as he looked to see if that girl had gotten on the bus yet.

Kagome was hoping she wouldn't have to sit with some weirdo, Kouga had to rid with the rest of the officers so she was on her own.

Kagome sat in the back of the bus in the seat opposite of Inu Yasha and Miroku.

Miroku had seen a couple of girls in the front of the bus and had left Inu Yasha by himself, and as soon as Miroku got up, he finally saw Kagome sitting across from him.

He hadn't been able to see her earlier and thought she hadn't gotten on yet, but when the bus started moving and he didn't see her he wondered if she was riding with that police officer from earlier.

The bus started heading down the road aith a police car in front and behind the it.

Kagome rested her head on the window and pulled her knees up to her stomach as she looked out the window at the passing scenery when a voice from in front of her spoke.

"Well well, look what we got here boys. Isn't she just a pretty little thing? Hey girlie, if your lonely back there you could come up here up here with us."

A guy that was sitting in the seat in front of her said. There were three of them, and Kagome vaguely wondered how they all managed to squeeze themselves into that small seat. Kagome flinched a little at his words and tried to ignore them.

Inu Yasha was staring out the window thinking about the first thing he was going to do to get on the wardens nerves when he heard someone sitting in front of Kagome say something to her over the racket on the bus.

The bus was so loud that no one else could have heard what the guy had said but him.

He looked over and saw her flinch and pull her legs closer to her stomach. Then looked at the three that had turned around int heir seats to look at her.

The one that was sitting on the edge of their seat got up and moved and sat next to Kagome making it hard for him to see what was happening.

"Isn't she just the prettiest lil thing? I could eat her right up."

The guy that had sat next to her said licking his lips as he grabbed Kagome's chin and turned her to look at him. The guy whistled.

"Wow. What a find. Her face is just as beautiful as her body. Don't you think so boys?"

They all smirked.

"Let go of me!"

Kagome said as she tried to pull her face away from him but he held her tighter. Almost enough to bruise her.

"Feisty too. Just the way I like 'em."

The guy said and held her hands above her head and moved in to kiss her.

His lips slammed down onto Kagome's painfully and licked her lips demanding enerance.

She kept her lips closed tightly and struggled under his body that was completely on top of her, crushing her and making it hard to breath.

The guy got frustrated with her struggles and bit her lip to get her to open her mouth.

Kagome cried in pain into the guys mouth. Now he was getting mad. He used one hand to hold her hands above her head pinning them to the window and used the other to slowly sink his claws,(just so you know, he and his friends are tiger demons in human form),into her side.

He had barely gotten his claws two inches into her when he was pulled off of her and shoved into an empty seat two seats in front of the two other boys.(A/n~there are hardly any people on the bus even though it's really loud and they are all in the front of the bus. No one is seeing any of this,k?)

"I don't think Kagome is interseted so I suggest you and your friends keep your distance. Got that buddy?"

Inu Yasha threatened angrily as he glanced a small look at Kagome out of the corner of his eye. No one noticed except for the guy that was just thrown into an empty seat.

"At first I thought that you were just some bastard that didn't want us to have any fun, but now I see that you have the hots for her too. If you wanted her for yourself you just had to say so. I respect a fellow gangsta's hormones, come on guys, I see another hottie up front."

And with that, they all got up and moved tot he front of the bus leaving Inu Yasha and Kagome alone in the back. The closest person to them was about six seats in front of them.

Inu Yasha scowled at their retreating forms one more time, then turned to Kagome. She was spraweled out on the seat, her legs hanging over the edge. One hand on the seat closest to the back trying to push herslef up, the other on her bleeding side where the tiger demon had sank his claws into her.

Ssshe glanced up when she felt herself being picked up by someone with really strong arms.

"W-what are you doing?"

Kagome asked in barely a whisper. The tiger demon may not have gotten his claws very deep into her side, but it was enough to make her lose a lot of blood and since his claws realeased a special poison the bleeding wouldn't stop. It had only taken about 10 seconds for the guy to slam his lips on hers and sink his claws into her. Inu Yasha took about 5 of those seconds to try and figure out what was happening seeing how he couldn't see past the guy.

Inu yasha ignored her question as he sat her down in his seat and sat next to her, so he would be sitting next to her, so he would be sitting next to her wounded side.

"Are you ok? You've lost a lot of blood."

Inu Yasha sked lifting up her shirt to see the wounds.

Kagome quickly pushed her shirt down.

"What are you doing? I have to see your wound. I'm not trying to look."

Inu yasha said angrily a little louder than necessary.

"It's not you, that hurts."

Kagome said as the pain showed on her face.

Oh, sorry. You should really watch where you sit."

Inu Yasha said trying to be nice seeing what she had just been through as he put her legs on his lap so he could get tothe wound without hurting her too much.

"I'll try to remember that next time I sit down. Ouch!"

Kagome said sarcastically as Inu Yasha pulled her shirt just enough to see her wound clearly, trying not to hurt her.

"Who are you?"

Kagome asked just realizing that she had no idea who he was.

"Inu Yasha Tetsusaiga. I would have introduced myself but I was a little preoccupied in pulling that guy off of you, defending you, and taking care of your wound. Sorry if I come off as a rude jackass."

Inu Yasha said returning her sarcasm as he ripped off part of his shirt and wraped it around Kagome's weist and tied it on her stomach.

Kagome was about to get angry at him when she realized something.

"Hey."

Kagome said trying to get his attention and watched as he pulled his head up to look at her.

"What?"

He asked curiously.

"Why did you help me?"

Kagome asked putting a hand on her now bandaged weist.

"I..I don't think it's right for men to take advantage of girls like that. You know who that was that did this to you don't you?"

Inu Yasha asked as he helped her sit up a little so her back was up against the window, her legs still on his lap.

"No, who was he?"

Kagome asked.

"That was Gatenmaru Hatchet. He's a street rapest. Looks like he got caught robbing a store. The police have no idea he's the rapest they've been after."

Inu Yasha explained as he noticed the shocked look on her face and decided to change the subject.

"Hey, how come you never introduced yourself?"

Inu Yasha asked. Stupid question.

"I didn't have to first of all. Second, I was too busy trying not to be raped, and third I don't give my name out to people I don't know."

Kagome said a little disbelieving that he would ask that question.

"What do you mean you didn't need to?"

Inu Yasha asked ignoring the last tow comments.

"It seems you already know my name, and I can see obviously more than that."

"What are you talking about?"

Inu Yasha asked curious to how she could possibly know that.

"First, when you were telling that guy off you said my name. Second, there's a piece of paper sticking out of your pocket with my picture on it."

Kagome said pointing to the pocket in Inu Yasha's shirt.

He looked down at his pocket to see that the picture of Kagome with all her information on it was sticking out enough to see her face and name.

'That must have been what Gatenmaru ment when he said he could see that I had the hots for her.'

Inu Yasha thought to himself as he looked at Kagome to see that she was smiling slightly.

"How do you know that I know more than your name?"

Inu Yasha asked.

"I recognize that paper from the police station. They gave me some of the same one's to look at. I couldn't believe they used that picture."

Kagome said laughing slightly putting her right hand to her face and closing her eyes as she put her left hand on her side when it started hurting again from her laughing too much.

"You ok? You look really bad. Your going pale."

Inu Yasha asked as he put a hand on her side to lift the "bandage"

up to look at it. The second he touched it Kagome hissed in pain and quickly pushed his hand away.

"I'm..fine. It just..hurts a little."

Kagome lied trying to catch her breath.

Inu Yasha put a hand on her forehead.

"Your not fine you little lier, your burning up."

Inu Yasha told her as he stood up slowly trying not to hurt Kagome as he sat her legs down on the seat.

"I'll be right back."

Inu Yasha told her walking up the aisle.

Inu Yasha came back a few minutes later with a bottle of cold water.

"Where'd you go?"

Kagome asked having finally gotten her breathing under control.

Inu Yasha gasped slightly when he saw her.

She was covered in sweat, her face was flushed and pale, blood was seeping out of her bandage and he could tell she couldn't breathe very well even though she seemed normal. He quickly recovered from his shock and lifted up her legs so that they were in the same position they were before he left.

"I went to get water and ask how long tell we get there."

Inu Yasha answered as he took his shirt off of Kagome's weist and poored some water on another piece of shirt he had ripped off of his other sleeve and dabbed at her wound.

Kagome hissed in pain, but still asked the question she wanted to answered.

"How long tell we get there?"

Kagome swerved her words trying not to black out. She wanted to keep talking to him.

"About another hour."

Inu Yasha answered as he tied another rag off his shirt to the other one.

A/N~just so you know, Inu Yasha is wearing a black button-up shirt that is not buttoned, and a white wife beater unde that. He is using the black one to bandage Kagome.^_^

"Damn, this place must be in the middle of nowhere."

Kagome tried to laugh again.

"Oi wench, your really stupid ya know? If you don't fucking stop trying to make me laugh your going to hurt yourself more."

Inu Yasha said watching as she cringed when she laughed, like her pain had intencified ten times.

"Well maybe if you would laugh, I wouldn't have to keep trying."

Kagome tried laughing again when her breath caught in her throat and she started gasping for breath.

"Kagome? You alright?"

Inu Yasha asked stupidly as he noticed her struggles had stoped. She didn't answer.

"Kagome? Come on Kagome, you'd better not be playing a damn trick. Kagome?"

Inu Yasha shook her shoulders. Her head fell back against the window lightly. At first Inu Yasha feared that she was dead, then he noticed she was breathing.

"Damn, i thought she was dead. I'll kill that bastard as soon as we get off this fuckin bus."

Inu Yasha cursed as he noticed the position he and Kagome were in.

I think that was a cliffy^_^
