As soon as Inuyasha heard what the note said, his expression changed from curiousness, to bitterness.
"Who exactly is this person, and what buisness do they have giving you flowers?" asked Inuyasha.
"Relax Inuyasha, it's no big deal. It's just flowers." replied Kagome in her own defense.
"Whatever, I don't even care..." he countered as he turned around folding his arms.
Kagome sighed and rolled her eyes and began to make her way back to her room, Inuyasha following close behind. As they both came into her room, Kagome turned around.
"Is there a reason your following me Inuyasha?" asked Kagome in a frusterated tone.
"Is there a reason I shouldn't be following you?" replied Inuyasha.
"Yeah, I have to change out of this kimono for now and hang it up! So, if you don't mind....get out of my room." said Kagome trying to keep her patience.
"Fine...but as soon as this dinner or whatever is over, were going back. We still have things to do you know..." he stated as he got out of Kagome's room and made his way downstairs to play with Kagome's cat.
As Kagome changed back into her school outfit and hung her kimono up, she couldn't help but laugh a bit.
"I can't believe how jealous Inuyasha got..." she said to herself with a small laugh. As she made her way out of her room, she saw her brother.
"Kagome, do you have a pen I can borrow? I have to write a paper." said Sota.
"Sure, there should be one in my back pack that's in my closet." said Kagome as she went downstairs.
Sota made her way into Kagome's room and went towards her closet. He went into his sisters back pack and found a pen. Just to make sure it worked, he took a piece of paper and tried to write on it, but it didn't work, so, he began to shake the pen. On about the 5th shake, he saw the pen explode before his eyes.
"AHHH!" he shouted as he saw the ink splatter all over his sister's new kimono.
Kagome was sitting on the couch, watching TV when she heard Sota scream. She ran upstairs as fast as she could to see what had happened. As she went into her room, she saw Sota standing in the middle of the room with a nervous smile on his face.
"Sota, I heard you scream, what's wrong?" asked Kagome concerned.
"Oh, I just saw a spider, but I killed it and threw it out the window, don't worry." replied Sota unusually fast.
"Oh...okay." replied Kagome as she walked back out of the room and went back downstairs. As soon as he was sure Kagome was out of range, he ran back into the closet and grabbed the kimono with the new blue ink spot right in the middle of it.
"Maybe if I wash it, it will get the stain out." thought Sota as he ran into his room and grabbed his basket of dirty clothes and hid the kimono under all of it and made his way downstairs and went past Kagome.
Inuyasha had gotten bored with playing with the cat and had decided to sit on the couch next to Kagome. He couldn't really get into what was on the glowing picture box, so he had a lot of time to think.
'I wonder who gave Kagome those flowers...and I wonder what's gonna happen at this dinner tonight...maybe I should go, just to make sure Kagome's safe...'
Kagome heard the washer stop, and decided to do some of her clothes that were already in the laundry room. As she opened the door, Sota screamed in shock, he was holding up the kimono. Instead of taking out the stain, it got bigger.
Kagome just stood there for a second, her anger level rising.
"So.....taaaa!!!!!!!!" she screamed as she lundged at him. Sota screamed and ran out of the room. Upon hearing Sota's scream, Inuyasha stood up and and listened. He heard foot steps and another pair following after them. He then saw Sota running and stopped him by putting one hand out and having Sota run into it.
"What's the matter kid?" he asked Sota.
"It's-I-she" Sota stuttered.
Kagome ran into the room and picked Sota up by the shirt.
"You brat, you ruined it!!!" she shouted as loud as she could.
"He ruined what?" asked Inuyasha increadably confused.
"My new kimono!" replied Kagome not taking her angry gaze off of her brother.
"I'm sorry Kagome, it wasn't my fault, I swear! I was finding a pen, and then it exploded. I tried to get the stain out, but it just made it bigger!" explained Sota.
Kagome tried to calm her nerves. Once she did she set her brother down and sat on the couch and put her face in her hands and mumbled, "What am I doing to wear to the dinner now?"
Inuyasha thought for a second and let out a small "Hmmmm...". As he made his way toward the door, Kagome looked up.
"Inuyasha where are you going?" asked Kagome.
"Just out, i'll be back soon." he replied as he put his hat he usually wore on and made his way out the door to do the nicest thing that hes ever done for Kagome.
