+In Kagome's Time+
Kagome woke up early on the morning of her birthday. Not on purpose, just on lack of sleep. 'Jeez, Im finally home and I still cant sleep....'. She pushed herself out of bed, and stepped outside her room. The other doors in the hallway were closed, all exept for the bathroom, indicating she was the only one awake.
She quietly walked down stairs and made herself some breakfast, knowing today was going to be a long one.
+In Inuyasha's Time+
Inuyasha woke up with the sun, as usual. He never did sleep well when Kagome was away, especially with her departure bothering him more that it usually did. 'Feh ' he thought to himself, as he jumped down from his tree.
When a morning brezze came by, he got a nice sniff of the air, and the strong stench that came with it.
'Naraku '.
+Back with Kagome+
It was early in the afternoon, and Kagome was starting to feel sick. "Do you want anything, honey?" Her mom was growing more and more worried as the day went on, even though she knew what the problem was. "No thanks mom," Kagome sighed. "I dont think anything will help." Souta then popped into the room. "Is this going to happen to me?" He asked worriedly. "Not until your your sister's age." Their mother said. She patted the top of his head and left the room.
Kagome started to cough, and she covered her mouth, trying to not make it seem as bad infront of her brother. When the coughing subsided, she looked at her hand, to see that there was a splatter of blood on it. "This is ridiculous..." she said as she grabbed a tissue out of the box by her bed. She looked up to see her brother still standing in the doorway.
"Yes, souta?"
"Im scared Kagome.." He bowed his head, almost ashamed for saying so.
"Dont be, you have a while to go." She forced a small smile at her brother, trying not to make it seem so bad.
"Not for me..." He looked up at her with small tears in his eyes. "im scared...for you..."
