The sound of the explosion by the well startled everyone, and Inuyasha became extremly worried. 'What if something happened to the well? ' His mind began to panic.
Naraku had a knowing smile on his face, which confused and scared everyone, though they would not show it.
"Theres a strong aura present...and it isnt Naraku..." Miroku stated.
"What the hells?!" Inuyasha screamed.
Above all the huts of the village, you could clearly see the dark shadows of four people, or demons, running across them. "Who the hell are you?!" Inuyasha yelled at the one closest. It turned around and look dead at him, you couldnt see any detail of it, just its eyes, which were blood red. He look as if he was about to attack Inuyasha, but the one infront of him made some type of indication to leave him be, and they continued jumping a top of the huts, making their way to Naraku. Some ran onto the other side of him, and they were closing in slowly.
"Inuyasha..what do we do?" Sango asked nervously. The demons smelt like blood...fresh blood.
"Feh. Im going to be the one to kill Naraku! Not them!" Inuyasha was about to lung at all five of them, the four unknown demons and Naraku, but Miroku stopped him.
"What are you doing monk?!"
"Inuyasha," Miroku calmly stated. "Dont, not yet."
"WHY THE HELL NOT?!"
"I dont think those four are the enemy...they would of attacked us already if they were..." Miroku watched them closely. Inuyasha looked at them, just as one became more visible.
He looked as if he was their leader. He wore armor on his chest and on the top part of his legs. He unsheathed the sword that was by its side. It was as big as tessaiga. The demon lunged at Naraku, slicing his monkey suit in half. And so begun a bloody battle.
All four demons attacked Naraku. Kagura and Kanna attempted to help, but were only attacked and brutally hurt themselves, until they were unable to fight, so the fled.
Naraku was loosing. It was obvious. Inuyasha and eveyone was to stunned from watching the battle to even move. It was a wonder they didnt get it with any side attacks.
To late.
One of the demons sent out his sword, and it went flying, missed Naraku, and was coming twards the gang. But before they had time to move, the sword was dangerously close, and still moving. Right when it looked as if it was going to kill them all with one shot, it stopped in mid air, lighting seemed to be coming out of the sides of it. "What the..?" Sango asked. The light around it glowed blue, the light spread, until it was in a dome shap, with Inuyasha and Gang inside of it. There was a barrier. It was protecting them from anything that came their way. "Who the hell did this?" Inuyasha screamed. He lashed at the barrier with his sword, but nothing happened.
Suddenly, the four unknown demons stopped moving. Frozen in their spots. They all looked up, behind the barrier dome, expecting something. Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, and even Naraku (who was currently trying to regain some of his power) followed their gazes.
In on of the trees closest to them, they could see a shadow. It was slender, and they could all guess it was a woman. "Its....Ohyaku..." Miroku said in a whisper like voice. "What? I though you said that was a myth Miroku!" Sango screamed. "Thats what I thought..." He looked at the other four demons." Those must be her followers. "FORGET THIS! Shes just another demon I have to destroy."
Just as the words fell from Inuyasha's mouth, the demon opened her eyes. They were blood red, but blacker than the other demons. Suddenly, a bolt of light was speeding twards her. She put up one arm, and it deflected off of it. They all turned around to see Naraku, trying to send attacks to her. She deflected them all effortlessly.
She then put out her other arm, and the sword the Leader-like unknown demon held, went flying into her hand. She raised it above her head, and flew at Naraku.
And while she went passed the gang, they all saw the raven black hair, the torn school uniform, and Shikon shards that hung around her neck.
