Enenra - Demon who gave Kagome her powers.

The foul smell of burning flesh and blood was everywhere. It made Inuyasha's nose cringe. From the moment their feet touched the floor of the demonic plane, Inuyasha wanted out.
"We'll only be here for a little while." Kagome said as she looked at him. "This way." Kubikajiri said as he gestured twards a dark hallway. Kagome nodded and began to follow him and Kyuketsuki, who had already began to walk down said hallway.
"Kubikajiri, wheres-" Kagome started to ask about her other two followers, but was cut off. "They are off, there was a problem with one of Enenra's demons, and he sent them to take care of it" Kyuketsuki said from down the hallway.
The hallway was lined with torches, and it was their only means of light. At the end of the hallway, they could see a set of two huge doors. They were a dark red and the handles on them we're made of dark steel. From what Inuyasha could smell, there was a powerful demon on the other side of the doors.
Kyuketsuki opened them both with a swing of his hand, and stopped on the threshold, and everyone stood behind him, including Kubikajiri. "Ohyaku has arrived." He stated, still standing in the same spot. "Enter." boomed at deep voice. Kyuketsuki and Kubikajiri entered the room. Kagome and Inuyasha were slightly more hesitant. Inuyasha reached for Kagome's hand, but she moved it out of reach. At first he was insulted by the action, then relized it was probably for the best.
They entered the huge room.
It was much brighter than the hallway, having five chandeliers with about 10 candles on each. In the back of the room was a dark window. There was nothing on the other side of it though. 'Weird.' Inuyasha thought. On the sides walls of the room were shelves of books, weapons, and anything else a demon could need.
"Ohyaku, its about time youve come." A demon appeared from near where the dark window was. Enenra. When he came closer, Inuyasha could see more detail of him. He was really threatening. He was about Inuyasha's hight, maybe an inch taller. He looked as if he was a body builder. He wore armor on him, but it only covered his chest, and left his arms exposed. His very muscular and big arms. He was also wearing a pair of completely black pants, that obviously had come from somewhere in Kagome's time.
"I have. I hope you were not waiting long." Kagome said. She stood about a foot infront of Inuyasha, but he could sense her nervousness through their bond.
"It was a long enough wait." He said coldly.
Kagome grew more and more nervous with each passing second. A million things were running through her head. Why did he want to see her? Would he notice she was park miko? Would he accept that? And what about Inuyasha?
"Gomen." She bowed her head.
"It has been a while." Enenra said as he stepped closer. He reached out and lifted Kagome's cheek to look at her more closely. "You have grown very much. And you have new powers...powers of a miko." He tighted his grip on her. Inuyasha saw this and let out a rather loud growl.
'shit.' He thought. Enenra looked over Kagome to the Inu-Hanyou behind her. "Who the hell are you?" He asked dropping Kagome's chin and stepping over to Inuyasha.
"Thats Inuyasha, Enenra." Kagome spoke. Enenra looked at him, then at Kagome. "Your mate?" He asked looking at her. Kagome nodded. He looked back to Inuyasha.
"Youve choosen a Inu-Hanyou as your mate? Of all demons?" He laughed.
"What?" Inuyasha growled.
"You heard me." Enenra laughed again. "Ohyaku deserves a strong demon. Not a hanyou."
"She wishes to be called Ka-go-me now, Enenra." Kyuketsuki said with a chuckle.
"Is that so?" Enenra said as he looked over his shoulder at Kagome, who nodded at him.
"So, let me get this straight, you want to be called by your human name now, your a miko, and you have mated with a low hanyou?"
"LOW?!" Inuyasha yelled.
"Enenra, you are forgeting I am a hanyou as well. And Inuyasha is not low. He is the son of the Great Dog General of Fudal Japan, and has surpassed his father in power many times." Kagome said with confidence.
"That may be, Kagome, but you are more powerful than most demons, you need someone equal in power to yourself." Enenra said, turning to face Kagome. "You need someone that will be able to handle the challenges of being the mate of Ohyaku."
"I can handle it well enough." Inuyasha half yelled.
"What makes you so sure?" Enenra said, not even looking at him.
"I know I can. There is nothing that would stop me from protecting Kagome." If only Enenra knew how true the statement was, but he said "Its not just other demons or enemies Kagome needs protecting from." He turned to face Inuyasha. "While Kagome is also a hanyou, her demon is that of a higher class of demons." He walked closer to Inuyasha, and stopped right infront of him, obviously trying to intimidate him. "Do you really have the guts to challenge me on this?"
Inuyasha glared at the demon infront of him. He had heard of him before during his travels, and he knew Enenra was strong. He really didnt give a shit though.
"Ill challenge you on it, and Ill tear you to shreds." He put his hand on his sword, ready for the battle of his life.
Enenra stared at him for a moment longer, before letting his tough-guy demenor break down. He let out a small smile. "I approve of him." He turned around and walked over to where Kyuketsuki and Kubikajiri stood.
"You what?" Kyuketsuki said in shock.
"I approve of him. This, Inuyasha, should be a good mate for Ohya-I mean-Kagome."
Kagome turned around to hug her mate, who squeezed her back, neither caring how much emotion they showed at that point.
Kyuketsuki wasnt to thrilled. "HES A MUTT FOR GOD SAKES! HOW CAN YOU APPROVE?!" He screamed at the top of his lungs.
"WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?" Inuyasha yelled back, breaking away from Kagome.
"KYUKETSUKI!" Enenra snapped. "Be silent!"
"I wont! How can you allow this?!" He continued to yell. Kubikajiri whispered to him to shut up.
"I said, BE SILENT!" Enenra yelled, and the whole room shook for a second.
Everyone fell silent.
"Now, Kagome, the main reason I wished you here." Enenra stood by the dark window. He looked up at Kagome, "You powers, they will be much diffrent than before."
Kagome nodded and said "I figured." She took Inuyasha's hand and walked over twards Enenra, who surprisingly smiled at them.
"I can safely guess that you wont be feeding now." He said, refering to Ohyaku and how she would feed on the souls and blood of sinners. Kagome nodded and said "I do not wish to go back to that."
"Its understandable." Enenra nodded, but continued. "Since you wont be feeding anymore at all, the first few weeks of having your demon back wont be easy, since your demon still will want to feed." Kagome gulped. "You cannot let your demon take control, or you will want to feed as well. And if you do it once, you wont be able to stop. And you probably dont want to go back to how it ended." He cocked an eyebrow at Kagome, who had hung her head and was bitting her lip.

"YOU USELESS BITCH!" Kagome's father screamed. He reached out and grabbed Kagome by the throat. "YOU SHOULDNT BE ALIVE!" He threw her to the ground.
"STOP IT!" Kagome's mother screamed at him. She was holding Souta in her arms, who was crying and shaking violently.
"GO AHEAD! Use your demonic powers against me!" Her father continued to scream. Kagome was now on the floor, trying to regain her breathing, and hold back her demonic blood from taking over her. The same demon blood her father had forced upon her.
"Get out of here!" He screamed, this time at Kagome's mother and brother. Kagome's mother picked up Souta in her arms, and ran upstairs into his room, trying to comfort the poor boy.
"You..." Her father had turned back to her. "Your so powerful, eh? Then kill me!" He swung his foot at Kagome, kicking her in the ribs and stomache extremly hard. He then turned and walk out of the room.
Kagome brought herself onto her hands and knees, one hand, though, was gripping her stomache.
She felt her last inch of human sanity leave her. He eyes turned dark red. Her fangs grew longer. Ohyaku was completely taking over...
' Must....kill....' Was all that was running through her head.
She got up, and ran outside at top speed, searching for her folllowers.
She found them at their usual haunt, a local bar and club, having their feed of sinners.
She walked up to them and they understood what had happened. Kubukajiri tried to calm her demon down, but it didnt work. She grabbed him by the hair, and sunk her teeth into his neck, but she did not drain his soul.
By injecting him with some of her blood, she had brought out the beast within him as well.
Each of her followers met the same fate as Kubukajiri, and they were on the hunt. Their first victim, Kagome's father.
Once they arrived back at Kagome's house, they found her father doing his usual rituals and sacrifices to the higher demons. Enenra being one of them.
Kagome's followers grabbed hold of her father, and she drained him of his soul and every drop of blood in his body.
As good as that felt to get her revenge, her demon wanted more blood and souls. And at this point, she didnt care if the blood and souls belonged to sinners or not...she just wanted it.
She began to feed...
She fed on anyone she could get her hands on.
And it felt good...

"I had become a bloodthirsty beast..." Kagome said, a few tears escaping her eyes.
"You werent strong enough to contain the demon then." Enenra said, "But you are now."
He turned to Inuyasha. "When you return to your world, take Kagome far. Away from everyone. Anyone. Friend. Foe. Everyone." Inuyasha nodded, but he was still confused, good thing Enenra continued. "Anyone can trigger the urge to feed. Ohyaku will try to take over, but you have to help Kagome in any way you can."
Inuyasha nodded again and asked "How long do we have to stay away?"
"For as long as the urge to feed exists. It should be about a week or two." He could tell by the look on Inuyasha's face that he still need to know more. "When the urge to feed exisists, Kagome, well, wont be Kagome. Ohyaku will be trying to take over her body, and will be saying anything and everything to get you to let her go and feed. You'll know its Ohyaku, her and Kagome are nothing alike."
Inuyasha could believe that.
"But dont worry," Enenra continued. "Ohyaku will reconize you as her mate as well, and you will not be up for feeding on. Its just the way the demon works."
Inuyasha felt a little bit better. But not a lot.
"When will this start?" Kagome asked, relizing that the Enenra and Inuyasha were talking as if she wasnt there.
"Soon most likley." Enenra sighed. He looked at Kagome. "You will be fine, you have a strong mate to help you." He let out a small smile. "Now, your training for your powers will start after you have overcome the demon and feeding." He looked to Kubukajiri and Kyuketsuki. "Them and the other two will help you with that."
"We'll what?" Kyuketsuki asked.
"You heard me." Enenra stated.
Kubukajiri just smiled and said "It will be no problem."
Enenra looked at Kyuketsuki and said "I dont remeber you having a problem about this before."
Kyuketsuki looked back at him. "Things were diffrent then." He said coldly.
"Yea, Kagome didnt have a mate." Enenra laughed. He turned back to Kagome and Inuyasha. "You may leave. We will find you when your ready for training."
Kubukarjiri walked over to them, and took Kagome's hand again. "Ready?" He asked.
"Kubukarjiri, can you teach me how to...shimmer?" Kagome asked. Kubukarjiri smiled and said "Looks like we have our first assignment for training."
Kagome smiled back and tightened her grip on Inuyasha's hand before she turned to Enenra and gained eye contact with him, she mouthed 'Thank you' before Kubukajiri shimmered off, bringing her and Inuyasha back to their world.
