A scream was heard just as a bolt of lightning struck down onto a telephone pole which in turn fell on a portion of a local school destroying three classrooms and setting five others on fire. The rain was pouring down relentlessly so it didn't burn long, muddy water rushed down the streets to fill into a small pond around the schoolyard washing carrying garbage cans, forgotten toys, the occasional bike, and anything else light enough to travel in the stream. A figure appeared by a large tree in the center it was a tall boy. He climbed into a high thick branch using the rope tied to an old tire swing, using a pocket knife he cut off the tire and tied the rope into a large loop.

Then the streetlight off in the corner, the only source of light in this hellish storm, flickered, finally the beam of yellow light disappeared completely. In the next flash of lightning, the figure was hanging limply from the rope. He had hung himself.

A/N: Hi all, so I was talking with my brother who is now in Carson City Nevada, and he told me his new haunted story idea. He asked me if I could do anything with it and I said:

"I can make a fan fic…"

So that's the story behind this story ^___^…as corny as that sounded… And if Xombie, my bro, ever decides something needs to be changed I'll be changing it because he does own this story…though I'm writing it…
