Chapter 2:

Inu-yasha awoke some time later to the smell of food being cooked downstairs. Getting up off the bed and walking down stairs he found himself face to face with a very tired looking Kagome. Clearing his throat, Inu-yasha took a small step forward, as Kagome turned around at the sound. Misjudging the distance between the two, Kagome tripped into Inu-yasha sending them both on the ground. After regaining his senses from the sudden off balance, Inu-yasha noticed the position they where in and the skimpy nightgown Kagome was wearing. Hesitantly Inu-yasha opened his mouth to speak but was stopped, when Kagome's mouth claimed his. Caught by surprise first, Inu-yasha simply stared at Kagome. Taking this as an act of rejection, Kagome pulled back, only to be stopped by Inu-yasha's sudden interaction to her kiss. Slowly the kiss turned from one of innocents, to one that raged with passion. Inu-yasha slowly drew his tongue across her bottom lip, asking permission to enter and explore her mouth. Kagome obliged and gave him access, which served to deepen the kiss between them. Soon both broke away from each other, in need of air. Minutes passed before either one had the courage to look at each other. Slowly they reached forward and met each other in another soul searing kiss, both wanting it to go on, but neither having enough room to handle heartbreak. Slowly Inu-yasha trailed his fingers down from their resting place in her hair, to her shoulders leaving a path of liquid fire in its wake. Kagome let out a sudden gasp as his fingers kept going lower and lower, stopping to rest outside of her core. As if sensing his hesitation, Kagome thrust her hips up to meet his fingers. Inserting one finger, Inu-yasha watched Kagome's face for any signs of pain or of her wanting him to stop. With out further ado, he inserted another finger and circled them. Kagome threw her head back and let out a silent scream. Moving forward to fondle her breasts, Inu-yasha found her still clothed. With one quick movement of his fingers the buttons holding her nightgown released their holding and his mouth was upon the soft flesh he desired for. Inu-yasha began another trail of kisses down the side of her neck, stopping to nip and bite at her pulse, before drawing a small amount. Kagome gasped as Inu-yasha's fangs pierced her neck, and he looked up at her. She spoke huskily

" We should move this up to my room." Inu-yasha nodded and picked her up carefully taking him and her to her room. He began where he left off and continued lapping at her neck, preparing it for his bite again. Piercing her neck again, Kagome gasped, but the feeling was soon replaced by another one, caused by the lapping Inu's tongue was doing. Inu-yasha finished marking his mate and continued his exploration of his mate's body. Unbeknown to the couple in the bedroom, Kagome's family had decided to come home earlier and her now curious brother was inching closer to his sister's room. Creeping forward Souta put his ear to the door and was able to make out what sounded like a muffled cry. Straining to hear what they were saying Souta inched closer by was only able to make out a moan that sounded almost like Inu-yasha. Opening the door Souta slipped in, unnoticed by the preoccupied couple, immediately regretting it, he left as quickly as he came. Inu-yasha pulled away to look at his mate. Raising an eyebrow he questioned her.

"Did you plan this wrench? Got your family to leave, making me think we had the house to ourselves." Inu-yasha growled deeply Kagome knew that growl but was unable to get out of harms way. "Why bitch? Why every fucking time, we have any time to ourselves you either remember an errand, or you find some other means of squirming out of my grasp. I'm starting to think that you might have doubts. I don't want my pups growing up in that condition." Inu-yasha again growled as Kagome placed a hand on his shoulder. Looking her in the eye, Kagome could see the fear he was trying to hide and knew that he was scared beyond words. After a few minutes Inu-yasha found the strength to form words again and asked her a simple question. " Don't you want me… this? I'll let you think about this in your own time. Don't come through the well until your ready. I'll be waiting at the god tree and if you're ready, I'll take you all the way." Inu-yasha said before jumping out her window and back into his own time.
