The Shikon Jewl
After walking kagome home,The two did'nt want to leave eachother. "so i'll see you tomorrow at school?, I herd its open"
"Ya, I'll meet you at the subway?"
"yes" she smiled. She turned to open the door. when Inuyasha spun her around, pressing his lips to her. He pulled back Inchies from her face." Good night Kagome"
She was bright red as she giggled. "Ya " she sighed. Inuyasha chuckled walking home. Kagome walked in , she was in such a good.
"Did you have a nice time?"
"yes! I had the best night ever!" Kagome's mother smiled. Kagome went to walk up the stairs when she sliped and fell on her ankle.
"owww!!!" she cryed holding her ankle.
"Kagome are you okay?!" Her mother rushed to her kneeling down beside her. she looked at Kagome's ankle
"well its just sprained,but keep off it for a day or to"
"but what about school"
"Try to take it slow only get up when you have to" Kagome sighed as her mother helped up to her room.
"I'll get some ice, so It does'nt swell" Kagome rested on her bed trying not to think of her acking ankle. The phone began to ring. the phone read Inuyasha.
"Hey Inuyasha"
"Hey kagome, i missed you"
"I just saw you 5 mintes ago" she chuckled "but i miss you too"
"so what are you doing?"
"waitling for my mom to get the ice"
"why?"
"Because i sliped on the stairs and sprained my ankle" she mouned.
"YOU DID WHAT ARE YOU OKAY?!"
"Calm down Inuyasha i'm fine"
" does it hurt"
"Kinda" her mother came in and put the ice on her ankle. "Oww!" Kagome cryed.
"Are you okay?" Inuyasha said worried in to the phone.
"Ya my mom just put ice on my ankle" Inuyasha's ears were flat to his head in worry.
"Kagome it late off the phone"
"okay, Inuyasha i have to go ist late and my mom says i have to get off"
"Allright Kagome...call me if there's anything wrong allright."
"goodnight Inuyasha, sweet dreams" she hung up the phone and her mother turned the light off."Night dear"
"Night"
As soon as the door was shut, she got up and opened the window and parted the curtins all the way. letting the full moon light up the room. she turned teh little side table lamp on and sat on her bed reading a book. She put the ice back on her foot so it would stop hurting.
"Kagome" She snapped her head to the window and saw Inuyasha crouched on her window cill.
"Inuyasha? what are you doing here?" she smiled. Inuyasha steped in and sat on the other side of her extented leg on the bed.
"came to see if you were okay" She smiled at him. He blushed and looked at her hurt foot that rested on a pillow.
"Does it hurt?"
"ya sort of, I'm such a cluts"
"No everyone falls, here give me your foot"
confussed she watched Inuaysha take th ice pack off her foot and lift her foot in to his lap. delitacally he unwraped her foot and masged her foot. His fingers were so gentle.All pain was fadding away now. Sunddenly a snake demon shot in her room
"gives mes the jewl!!!" iT hissed .inuaysha jumped up grapping its neck." What the hell are you talking about the shikon jewl has dissapered for 100s of years."
"no she has it !"
Inuyasha snapeed its neck and threw it out the window,
"I have no idea what he's talking about"
"Inuyasha..." Inuyasha turened to her, Kagome pulled the jewel from under her shirt.
" is that..."
"The shikon no Tama? yes"
"But ..how?! its disspaered like 500 years ago, how do you have it."
"My family sealed it away so no demons would get there hands on it.But the said when the seal broke there would be a protector...me..and now its my job to protect it"
"Kagome are you serious?"
" Ya"
Inuyasha could'nt belive it. "so you have to protect it all on your own? Kagome i want you to know I'll protect you and help you protect the jewel"
"really?"
Inuyasha nodded takeing her hand. As he played with her fingers, he did'nt notice her bring her hand up to his ear and rubbed it. He purred and layed on her lap
"your like a overgrown puppy" she giggled.
"Keh!" he growled,which faded in to a purr.
"well kagome you should get some rest, I'll pick you up tomorrow in my car"
"I wish you could stay" Kagome wined.
Inuyasha chuckled giving a peck on her check.
"Maby another night" Kagome blushed deep red as Inuyasha shot out the window.
Inuyasha jumped from one building to another " Wow the shikon jewel,who knew kagome was guardingit." he pushed off the building and landed in front of his house. he walked in to the dark house and sat at the kitchen table. Inu no tasho came and sat down at the table with a sigh.
"Inuyasha? have you noticed the number of demons has increased suddenly?"
"yeah dad i know why"
"why? then?"
"Because the shikon jewel is back"
"what are you serious?! this is bad"
"why?"
"Because inuyasha demons from every where are going to try to get the jewel. If it gets in the wrong hands, hell will break lose!"
Inu no tasho stoped.
"How do you know the shikon jewel is back?" Inuyasha sat there trying to decide if he should tell him.
"Because dad..umm my freind Kagome protects it. Inuyasha's father fell silent.
"are you shiten me?"
"no!"
" Don't tell me, he last name is higurashi?" Inuaysha stared " how did you know?"
" Because it was said that the Higurashi family sealed the jewl for 500 years and when the seal would break there would be a protector with great power."
"really?"
"yes"
" I won't let anything happen to her, and i won't let anyone take the jewl
