InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ The Hunt ❯ Three Years ( Chapter 1 )

[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]

Disclaimer: Of course not. But I've always wondered, do the creators ever read any of this stuff. Do not like us for it? Do they think that we suck at writing and couldn't think up a good plot if it came and bit us on the ass? Am I alone in thinking this?

Ring....

"No."

Ring...

"Not again."

Ring...

"Go away."

Ring... "Hi. This is Kagome. I must not be there to pick up the phone right now, so just tell me who you are I'll decide if I feel like calling you back...BEEP." "Kagome.... Kaaaagoooomeeee.... KAGOME!!!!!!! Pick-up this damn phone or DIE!!!"

"Sango..." Kagome whined as she rolled out of bed and slowly crawled to her phone. "What."

"It's 6:30." A lot of voices can be heard on the other line. Kind of like a lot of children yelling.

Kagome slowly sat-up from lying on the ground, "Yeah, it's 6:30am. I'm not like you Sango. I'm not happy when people call me all early during vacation."

She got up and walked over to her dresser, `I guess I should probably get up anyway.' She looked at her mirror and slowly read the note that was taped there.

Have fun on your first day of school.

-Mom

"What's all that noise in the background anyway, Sango?" She asked as she went into her bathroom to wa.... wait. Kagome ran back to her dresser and re-read the note...

`First day of school....' "Shit!!!!" She screamed as the phone flew across the room.

"Is she coming to school or what?" Kagome heard Miroku ask on the answering machine that hadn't stop recording.

"Yeah, she's coming." Sango said before hanging up her phone.

Kagome hastily open her closet and pulled out a black tank top that said I can only please one person a day. Today isn't your day. Tomorrow isn't looking to good either in white letters. Then she found a pair of blue jeans.

`Three years. I've lived here for three years now and I do the same thing every time. I was born in Wisconsin. I moved here when I was 14.' She jumped in the shower and quickly wasted her hair with her favorite, VO5 Sun Kissed Raspberry (AN: That's my favorite, too). When she was done she dried herself off and put on her clothes, her black hair with red highlights up in a turbine. `My life is so much different from what it was there, so much better. I have my two best friends, Sango and Miroku. I'm doing really good in school and the people that live here are very nice.' She put on her black eyeliner. She touched the pendent she was wearing and it glowed for a moment before going back to normal. `Yeah, I haven't been this happy in a long time.'

She grabbed her backpack and ran down stairs, grabbing the pop tart from her mother.

"Thanks mom, bye mom."

"Have a good..."

BANG (door slamming)

"...day."

AN: I've never really planed out any of my stories before, but I am now. I keep changing my mind about how I want things to happen, but I'm hoping it will all turn out okay.

As you all probably know by now, all writers love reviews. I love them to. Thanks. Be kind, rewind.
