“What's going on?” Kagome whispered as she looked around in a circle. “It `s pitch black but…” she looked down at her hands and body. “I can still see myself.” She looked back up and peered into the darkness.

 

`Am I dreaming?'

 

“Yes… and no.” Kagome spun around looking for the feminine voice that was echoing around her. “You are currently in more of a… meditative state.”

 

“Wh-Who are you?”

 

“Who I am, or better yet, who I was isn't important.“

 

“But-“

 

“This isn't the time for you to ask questions. Be quiet and listen. Now, you have freed that which I sealed.”

 

“Inuyasha? But that would make you…”

 

“Yes, Inuyasha is the one I sealed and you released. Therefore, the future of your world depends solely upon Inuyasha and your abilities. I must say I was expecting something more than you, but what has been done cannot be undone. With that mark upon your right hand you have full control over Inuyasha.”

 

“Control?”

 

“You have been given full control over what he does.“

 

“I-I don't understand.”

 

(Sigh). “Tell him to fly and he'll fly. Tell him to fight and he will fight. The possibilities are endless. He only controls his feelings, nothing important. He will die for you if you tell him to and without hesitation.”

 

“What about his free will?”

 

“What of it? He is only a puppet sent to save humanity. Why should you care about his want's?”

 

“BUT Tha—“

 

“More importantly, those orbs of light you witnessed scatter earlier. You will need to collect them, for right now, he is weak without his power. Each of those orbs holds a memory and a power. He will remember and become stronger. Simply place your marked hand and the orb against his forehead. That should return his memories.”

 

“I don't want to control anyone. It's like… like having a slave. It's just not right!”

 

“What's with you? Most girls and women alike would jump at this opportunity. You could make him love you with one command.”

 

“I'm not most girls and I don't want forced love!”

 

“With my last breaths I cast this spell and now it's been given to you. Do not waste it! I never had this much control.”

 

“So you are that woman. How could you do something so horrible to someone that loved you so much? How? I don't understand.”

 

“I don't care about what happened in the past. My soul will never rest, not until Naraku is disposed of. As for Inuyasha, he was a fool that was too eager to be accepted and so he paid with his life.”

 

“You're a horrible person.”

 

“I made a mistake and I've already paid for it. Use Inuyasha like the weapon he is. Don't hold back. And don't give any commands that contradict the spell. The effects could be… Interesting.”

 

“I wont be anything like you want me too.”

 

“It doesn't matter what you want because in the end you are only human and no human can resist power. Now go! Fulfill my revenge.”

Kagome awoke to the outside world breathing heavy.

 

“What an awful series of dreams… but as long as dreams stay dreams everything's O.K.”

 

She gave a cute little sigh and content smile.

 

`It's so warm.' She snuggled into the warmth but frowned when she felt something stroking her face.

 

“Buyo you silly cat it's too early go away.”

 

“Is that my name? Buyo?”

 

“Of course it's your name you stupid cat, why would I change it?” She smiled as she relished in the warmth around her. `Dumb cat always asking stupid questions…'

 

Kagome's brain finally decided to kick in. `Since when do cats talk?'

 

She felt a hand gently tuck a lock of hair behind her ear. Then slowly followed her jaw-line to her chin.

 

Kagome nearly freaked when she realized that this definitely wasn't Buyo.

 

She felt a feather light touch brush against her lips. Her heart nearly stopped when she opened her eyes.

 

There right in front of her, Inuyasha, his face mere inches from her own. He continued his exploration of her face. Kagome shivered when he touched her lips again. `He really looks like an angel. A beautiful, sexy, mouthwatering--' She had to close her eyes to think straight.

 

`This is really happening. There's no denying it now.' She gave a mental sigh. `That means the dream was real too.' She felt the back of his fingers gently roll down her cheek.

 

“W-w what are you doing?” she stammered out.

 

“I like your face. It's so soft.”

 

Kagome's face turned a lovely pink. To her dismay Inuyasha had clearly seen it. So much for guys being oblivious to everything.

 

“Why are you blushing? It's true.”

 

Kagome finally noticed why she was so warm. She had her body pressed firmly against his. She was about to yell until she noticed that it was her hands that were tightly hold his shirt her face went from pink to red as he whispered something about her smelling sweet.

 

Kagome scrambled away form him, trying to put some distance between herself and the extremely tempting Inuyasha. She thought she saw him move to follow her.

 

“Don't move!”

 

Kagome saw Inuyasha open his mouth to say something again.

 

`He's doing this deliberately to make fun of me. Guy's never say things like that about me.' I'm not ugly but still, the way he's looking at me. Maybe he's telling the truth or maybe he's lying. Which ever it is, I don't really care because I need him to shut up so I can thing straight.' So Kagome did what came natural to any 16year old…

 

“Shut Up!”

 

She watched as his mouth suddenly snapped shut. He blinked in utter confusion while touching his fingers to his mouth.

 

`I can't believe it. I really have complete control over another human being. I-I shouldn't have done that.' She watched as his eyes tuned from confusion to fear as he watched her.

 

“You can talk I didn't mean it…” she watched as he kept eye contact with her. `This feels awkward.'… “I- my name's Kagome.” She shifted uncomfortably as he continued to watch her.

“What's your name…?” She started scolding her self. `I already know his name. I'm such an idiot.'

 

“My name's Buyo.”

 

Kagome looked at him eye's full of surprise. She continued to look at him. Then fell over laughing. `Buyo! That was rich.' She sat back up a moment later only to see Inuyasha looking completely serious.

 

`He really believes his name is Buyo? I wonder why…?'

 

(Flash Back)

 

“Buyo you silly cat it's too early.”

 

“Is that my name? Buyo?”

 

“Of course it is you stupid cat, why would I change it?”

 

(End Flash)

 

A small blush spread across her face. `Is he really that gullible? Of course he is. I would be to if I didn't remember anything from my past.'

 

“Your name isn't Buyo, it's Inuyasha. Buyo is my cat's name.”

His eyes had been trained on her the entire time and it was starting to get irritating. `What's with him?'… “Stop staring at me! “

 

He dropped his gaze to the ground efficiently complying with her command.

 

“Ahhh! This is so frustrating!” `I want him to stop but...but I feel like I'm holding him on a leash.' She sat there trying to find an intelligent solution.

 

She looked up and saw Inuyasha staring at the ground. “I never said you had to look at the ground. You can look around just stop staring at me.” He did move and inch. Kagome rolled her eyes. `This is so stupid. What am I supposed to do?' She took a second to scan her surrounding. `Nothing's changed. Cave's still there, so are the vines, plant life, the big cheery tree, the beautiful green forest…'

 

She sat there staring off into the forest before it clicked. `The darkness that covered the forest is gone! I can see the forest clearly!'

 

She leaped up from the ground full of excitement. `I can finally go find Sango!' She started into the forest completely forgetting about Inuyasha.

 

She'd just made it past the first gathering of trees when her hand started to itch. A few more feet and she had to stop. The feather mark in the center of her hand was itching like hell. It didn't take a genius to figure out what was going on.

 

`I can't go too far from him, but that means I have to take him everywhere with me.' She frowned as she turned and started back towards Inuyasha. `How am I going to explain this to everyone?' She ran over a series of scenarios.

 

S1) Hi Ma'ma, This is Inuyasha, my personal slave…

 

S2) Hi everyone this is the legendary Inuyasha, and he has to do everything I say…

 

S3) O.K. everyone listen up. Dis iz Inuyasha he's gonna be staying wid us for a while. So if ya don't like it tuff!!

 

“Well I'll just have to figure it out when the time comes.” She sighed out.

 

“Well… What do we have here?“

 

Kagome snapped from her thoughts and looked around. “Who's there?”

 

“Well it looks like I finally found you.” Kagome watched as a man walked out from behind a tree to her left.

 

“What do you want?”

 

“What do I want?” he laughed. “Give me the box. If you hand it over, I'll make your death quick.” He raised a hand in front of his face to emphasize his point.

 

That's when Kagome recognized him. Those long metal claws he wore were hard to forget.

“You're one of them.”

 

He raised an eyebrow at her comment. `One of them? Was she referring to the band of seven?'…” So I was right. They were there. You shouldn't have taken Naraku's box.”

 

Kagome was terrified, they were a bunch of murderers. That much was obvious when they laughed at that guy's head being cut off.

 

He took a step forward and Kagome took a few steps in the direction where she'd left Inuyasha.

 

He raised his claws ready to cut Kagome down and just take the box off her dead corpse. But he was suddenly struck by a thought.

 

`Where was the box? She didn't have it anywhere on her body.'

 

But the raising of his claws had startled Kagome and she'd sprinted off.

 

“Damn it. I'm done playing cat and mouse.” He took off after Kagome. `That girl's going to die as soon as I actually see that damn box.'
