There was a cool wind blowing that day. It blew through the trees, through the leaves on the ground, and through a young teen girl's long raven hair. Her name was Kagome.

'How could they do this?' Kagome thought, tears slowly forming in her eyes. 'How could they make us go outside when it's so cold?!'
Of course, she was the only one who thought that, since everyone else were nice and warm in their sweaters and jackets and vests.
She, on the other hand, was just wearing her usual uniform. Her thin shirt was not enough to keep her warm and protect her from the cold breeze, and her mini-skirt was no exception.
She was sitting on a bench, the breeze blowing gently on her long legs.

Meanwhile, Inuyasha had on a warm--maybe a little too warm-- black jacket. He hated jackets. He liked the cold.
Inuyasha just wanted to take off the stupid thing and throw it as far away as possible.
But do you know why?
He hated school more than jackets. He wanted to catch the worst cold ever, and get really sick, so he wouldn't have to go for a while. And if he starts geting better, he’ll fake it.
Then he saw Kagome. She was shivering from the cold. He thought a moment, then smiled to himself. He could give the jacket to Kagome!
'Perfect.' He thought to himself and smiled.
He slowly walked up to her, and she heard a gentle crunching sound from the leaves, coming closer and closer. She heard raspy breaths behind her and was starting to feel the warmth of them.
‘Hmm... and maybe I can have a little fun as well!’ he thought, sensing her sudden fear. He smiled again.
“Kagome...” he said slowly, in a deep and possibly scary tone. She let out a short squeak. Now she was shaking both from the cool air and fear.
Inuyasha could hardly stop himself from laughing. He thought it was funny, when poor Kagome was scared out of her wits!
When he got close enough, he ducked down and grabbed her by the chest. She let out an ear-shattering scream.
He couldn’t control it any longer, and burst out laughing. Now Kagome was boiling mad.
“Inuyasha Yuuri Hanyou!!!” she yelled out his name. He stopped laughing immidiately and looked at her. Her face was redder than anything he ever saw in his whole life, and you could practically see steam coming from her.
“Heh-heh. Wow Kags, I never saw THAT shade of red before!” he said sarcastically.

“SHUT IT!” She was almost screaming when she talked.

‘Uh oh,’ he thought, ‘Now I’ve done it. I’m in for the worst.’
Kagome calmed down a bit. ‘Maybe I shouldn’t be too hard on him this time.’ She sighed. ‘After all, it wasn’t that bad.’
She lost the calmness she just gained and was replaced with more anger. ‘I just almost had a heart attack, that’s all!’
