Duet of Love ch.2
It was the weekend after the announcement was made.
"Oh my god I can't believe he called me,of course he was still ignorant but atleast he called"said Kagome to Sango.
"Yeah I told you the little boy was still in there somewhere"said Sango smilling.
"But Kagome I thought you didn't care about him"
"Well I don't atleast I don't think I do"said Kagome softly.
"Maybe I only care because he was actually nice for once"said Kagome as she leaned back on her bed.
Flashback
"Ring,ring,ring"went Kagome's phone.
"Hello Kagome Huragashi speaking"she said in a very professional voice.
"Hi Kagome this is Inuyasha I'm just calling to tell you that I'll be at your house at 6 o'clock to
rehearse for the festival and that I want us to get along for this time that we spend together"he said.
"I'm going to try to be nice I hope we can get along like we did in the old days ok that's all I wanted to
say bye"said Inuyasha before he hung up.
End of Flashback
It was 5:30 pm and Kagome was getting ready.She didn't know why she was making such a big deal out of this.
Kagome's POV
Why should I care about this,he's such a jerk.I hope he is willing to give our friendship another chance though.
But still why should i care if he has beautiful honey colored eyes and soft white hair.I shouldn't care that he
has beautiful and soft white ears and that he has the body of a god.
"God why am I thinking like this"she asked herself out loud.Suddenly the doorbell rang loudly.
"I'll get it"she screamed to her mom.She whent downstairs and opened the door.
"Hi"she said to Inuyasha breathlessly.The sight that she saw in front of her was a beautiful one.He looked
amazing the sight of him made her run out of breath.He was wearing a white muscle shirt that showed
all of his well toned muscles.He was also wearing baggy blue jeans.
"Hi said Inuyasha as he looked at her up and down.
Inuyasha's POV
She looks sooo beautiful I can't believe I ever treated her badly she's such a great person.I can't believe that i ever ruined
our friendship.I have to ask her forgiveness.Kagome was wearing a short pink and white skirt and a spaghetti strap shirt
that had angel written on it with pink letters.She was also wearing a pink bandana and she let her silky raven her cascade
on her shoulders.She wore little make up because she didn't need make up she wore pink lipgloss and light pink
eyeshadow.
"Come in"said Kagome.Inuyasha did as he was told and stepped inside her house.
"Kagome before we dod anything I need to talk to you"he said seriously
"Ok sit down"said Kagome
"Look I know that it was mainly my fault that we stopped being friends but I want us to go back to being friends,I
only stopped talking to you because I was surrounded by soo many people that talked badly about other people and my
dad had very high expectations of me.He said i had to be the most popular kid at school and carry out the Hanyou tradition
like my brother Sesshomaru,I hope you can understand I was little and weak minded I didn't know how to stand up for myself,I hope you can
forgive me"he said looking into her eyes.
"OF COURSE I CAN FORGIVE YOU"she screamed at him while she hugged him tightly.
"I always wanted us to be friends again" she said happily.
"Well I guess we should start rehearsing"he said
"Yeah good idea"she responded
"Well the teacher called me and told me to tell you that we had to like hold hands and look at each other in the eyes when we
sing because it's a romance song and we need for people to believe that we are in love"he said.
"Ok"she said.She put the CD in the stereo and she satrted to sing.
There are times
I swear I know you're here
When I forget about my fear
feeling you my dear
Watching over me my hope seeks
of the future will bring
when you wrap me in your wings and
take me where you are where you and I
will breathe toghether once again
As she sung this she walked over to Inuyasha and grabbed his hand.Then she looked into his eyes and they both started singing.
We'll be dancing in the moonlight
just like we used to do.
Their faces got closer and Kagome started to sing.
And you'll be smilling back at me
only then will I be free when I can be
where you are
They were soo close that they could feel each others breaths.Then Inuyasha started singing.
And I can see your face
your kiss I still can taste
not a memory away
When he sang he put his hand on Kagome's face and gently rubbed her cheeck with his thumb.Then it was Kagome's turn to sing.
Oh I see your star
shinning down on me
and I'd do anything
They closed their eyes and started singing.
If I could just be right there
where you are
Then Kagome brushed her lips against his and started to sing.
Where you and I
will breathe together once again
They both sung.
We'll be dancing in the moonlight
just like we used to do
When they finished singing that part they both lost control and started kissing eachother
the kiss became really really intense.
Inuyasha's POV
Oh no what am I doing I can't do this she's my friend and I'll ruin any chance I have of
being her friends again.Inuyasha stopped the kiss abruptly.
"I'm sorry Kagome"he said and ran out of her house.Kagome sat on her bed thinking and pressed a finger to her lips and smiled.
