My name is Sesshomaru, no last name just Sesshomaru. I've been alive for hundreds of years watching and waiting. Before I get on with the story, I should tell you more about myself. I'm at this moment 921 years old. I'm the great demon lord of the western land. In one of my many battles I encountered a race of vampires. In the one time I last a battle they didn't kill me but turn me into one of them. But being a demon there was a side effect I can stand sun light. I don't know about a steak thought the heart but I'm not going to try. I spent countless years looking into the vampire race to find out everything I could. And I did.

I came across a scroll about a birth of a child with supernatural power. Born to both a priestess and vampire out of love. With some research I found out, is that the priestess is a Kami of all things that came to earth to learn, and the Vampire is one of the first Inu yauki to be turned. Plus to make things worse the child will be the bearer of the jewel of four souls. 50 years ago I came across a woman who was the keeper of the jewel. But she was not the one. She did however fall in love with my half breed of a brother. They betrayed each other and she die and pined my brother to a tree.

I have found her she has been traveling with my brother for about two years now. I even tried to kill her on my side quest to get my fathers sword. I even went so far as to pant a spy in there group. I know about there quest to restore the jewel. Her coming from the future and the fact that right now she has a part of the soul of something dead the walking dead made of dirt and bone made flesh. Now I watch from afar so she doesn't sense me. But by day her powers grow more and more. Until her 18th birthday. Which only gives me 13 months to put my plan into action. So here we go.

"Sesshomaru what are you doing here. If you want the sword you're not going to get it" Inuyasha yelled.

That's my brother fight first and second then when everything dead asks some question. The joy.

"No Inuyasha I came to ally myself with you in the quest for the jewel and the battle of Naruku" To the point. I do say so myself.

"No way we don't need or want your help now die" I know he would stay that.

"Inuyasha SIT" The voice of and angel. Kagome.

"Do you not see the little girl behind your brother leg or are you just blind" Kagome yelled as she walked over to me.

To be this close I could feel it the power. Just to touch one touch. Wait what I'm I saying I'm the great demon lord. Were did all my control go.

" Lord Sesshomaru, not to be disrespectful but how do we know that this is not a trap you had tried to kill us before."

Great she does have a point.

"I lord Sesshomaru give my word as a lord."

"That doesn't mean shit to me" Inuyasha said.

"If I may interject a lord's word is very powerful they don't give it easily and don't use it likely. They have to much honor." The monk stated.

"Sango what do you think?" Kagome asked.

"As much as I know about demons and lords I believe Mirku." Sango added.

"Ok then you may join." Kagome said with a bow.

"Now what is your name little one?" Kagome asked the child behind Me.

"My name is Rin pretty lady. What's yours?" Rin asked.

"Oh I forgot my name is Kagome. Plus it looks like your going to be traveling with us." Kagome said with a smile.

God that smile it just does things to me. How can someone as sweet and pure put up with my brother. We were all seated by the fire. When the smell hit my nose. Dirt bones and clay. I turned to looks at Kagome and could see that she knew who it was.

"Inuyasha, I have come to join in the up coming battle with Naraku." Kikyo said in a voice that made you want to kill her.

Or was that just me. Oh hell this is going to be a long 13 months. Here we go.

"Everyone Kikyo is joining our group."

"Wait didn't she try to kill you and Kagome a number of times?" Mirku asked.

"Yes she is still coming if Kagome allows my evil brother to join then she came to?"

"That doesn't make sense Inuyasha you can see that Lord Sesshoumaru has changed he has Little Rin with him?" Sango add.

"She is staying and that's final." Inuyasha yelled.

"Fine if she stay make one thing clear if she goes anywhere mean Kagome I'll kill her!" Sango said calmly and deadly.

"I agree with Lady Sango Inuyasha if she does anything and I mean anything to Kagome I'll suck her into the wind tunnel without thinking twice." Mirku also added in.

She make people want to be loyal to her with there lives. She is special.

"My copy do you have anything to say" The dirt asked.

"Let's get something straight my name Kagome. Say it with me I know your slow Ka-go-me. Damn you are that slow sorry. I don't like to make fun of those dumber than myself or a fish."

I had to hold my breath not to laugh. But at least Rin can which she is doing quite well right now.

"Oh my I almost forgot Kikyo I have a gift for you." Kagome said as she walked over to her bag.

" Oh here it is."

She turn with a tree shaped thing in her hand and walked over to Kikyo.

"Here you go just for you"

I could smell the thing she had in her hand. It was like fresh pine. And smelled really good.

"What is this thing?"

Kikyo demanded after she turned around and walked away. She spoke.

"Oh it's called and air fresher it cleans up the around you so Shippo and Sesshoumaru could breath better. Because I know if I can smell you them so can they and you stink."

Wow where did that come from. She has never acted like that to anyone. And I've been watching. But that was funny and she does smell. So she is right. But why does she not care about Inuyasha. I thought she loved him.

"I'm going to the hot spring and taking a bath Sango would you like to come?"

"Yes I would love to unlike some people dead or alive we like to be clean. Well not as much as Kagome but, it does feel good."

Sango said with a laugh. As the girls walked away I heard Kikyo speak to Inuyasha.

"How could you let her talk to me that way? Don't you love me anymore?"

God I'm going to be sick.

"Yes, I love you but Kagome does have control over me with these damn beads. So if you know away I could get them off help if not I'm not getting in the middle."

Well that was the smartest thing Inuyasha has ever said.
