Kagome, Sango, and Miroku were now back at Sango and Kagomes' house.

Sango came out of the shower having only a towel around after wiping off the blood on her. Miroku and Kagome sat on the couch watching TV when Miroku saw Sango head towards her room. Kagome already knew what Miroku was going to try and do before he even got up off the couch.

“Miroku you know your only going to get another bruise.” Kagome said paying most of her attention to Threes Company on the TV Land channel.

“Its always worth a try.” Miroku went into Sangos' room and the next thing heard was big *Smack* and Miroku coming out with a big red hand print on his right cheek.

“Ah the pain of love.” Miroku said as he sat back down on the couch.

“I would say I told you so, but you don't get much satisfaction from someone who does it repeatedly.” Kagome said to her friend as she turning the channel.

“Lets go do something.” Sango said coming out of her room fully clothed.

“I have a few things in mind.” Miroku said with a mischievous smile.

Sango and Kagome both ignored Miroku and continued on discussing what they could do. A big factor in their conversation was that they would try and avoid any slaying of demons.

“Hey I have an idea one of my friends is having a party tonight.”

“Miroku you have friends! Shocker!” Sango joked.

“Do we know this friend of yours Miroku?” asked Kagome.

“Yeah its Hachi.”

“Hachi…isn't he a demon?” Sango said with a lifted eyebrow.

“Yeah, but he's harmless after all not all demons are evil…well like 1% aren't evil.”

“Then I have to change I mean I am not dressed for a party!” Sango excitedly yelled.

“Me neither! Sango you know what this means!” Kagome grinned.

The girls both screamed and jumped up and down, “Makeover!”

Miroku though enjoyed being in the main company of two beautiful girls felt that he was alone when it came to things like makeovers.

Inuyasha was pacing in his living room when Myoga decided to pay a second visit of that day.

“So how did it go?”

“Peh…” Inuyasha looked at the ground as he paced with his hands behind his back.

“Come on get your mind off of it.”

“Shut up Myoga.” Inuyasha said.

“That is it I'm tired of seeing you go through flames for that Kikyo! You are going to get your mind off of her off Sesshoumaru and stop moping around!”

Inuyasha was caught off guard by Myoga strong interest. Usually Myoga gives Inuyasha space and lets him figure things out on his own he never actually stepped in front of Inuyasha.

“Now one of my good friends is throwing a party tonight and you are going! You are going to have a good time and get drunk off your ass!”

“Wait what was that last part Myoga?” Inuyasha thought that he surely misheard him. Myoga would never let him get drunk every time he had a hang over Myoga would slam doors and play Inuyashas' music loudly.

“I am allowing you to go drink you idiot! But so help me god if you get caught by the police I will kill you and you will work triple shifts!” Myoga yelled.

“So…who is holding this party?”

“An old friend.”

Myoga explained the directions to the party and Inuyasha once again left his apartment.

“You know girls we don't have all day.” Miroku said starting to get inpatient.

“Relax Miroku we'll be right out we are almost done.” Sango said behind the closed door to her room.

A minute or so later the girls came out. Kagome came out wearing a black tank top and dark blue skin tight jeans with a spiked belt and high heel boots.

Sango came out wearing a pink tank top and a short black mini skirt. Miroku stared at Sango as drool began to appear out of the side of his mouth. Miroku wiped the side of his mouth and the group went to the car and drove to the party.

They showed up at Hachis' house around 7p.m. Miroku escorted the girls inside the house which was bustling with people. A lot of the people Kagome and Sango could sense were demons and half breeds, but Miroku re assured them that it was safe.

“Ah! Miroku you made it!” Hachi said greeting his friend.

“Wouldn't miss it. Oh Hachi these are my good friends Sango and Kagome.” Miroku said putting his arm around them.

“Very nice to meet you. I hope you don't mind me I have been tired of wearing this ridiculous disguise all day.” Hachi said as he chanted some words which undid the spell that disguised him as a human. Hachi was a big raccoon with a round stomach he also had the big trade mark eyes of a raccoon.

“So where are the ladies?” Miroku said flipping his coat collar.

“Oh Miroku you never change. You ladies care for a drink?” Hachi said guiding them towards his home bar.

“I'll have a Heineken.” Sango said sitting at on a stool by the counter.

“What do you want Kagome?” Hachi asked as he handed Sango her drink.

“Whatever.”

Hachi started mixing drinks together and gave the finishing result to Kagome.

Inuyasha drove up to the house which he could tell was the right one because he saw demons and people out on the lawn acting like a bunch of drunken fools. He got off his

Motorcycle and walked onto the lawn when he a voice behind him called out his name.

“So you came too, Inuyasha.” The voice said.

“I should've known a low life like you would be here. Come to date rape anybody?”

“Hey the girls that come with me are always willing unlike you I wouldn't have to slip them anything.”

“Kouga you are so full of shit!”

Inuyasha continued walking into the house and took the spell of him making his fuzzy ears pop up and his finger nails extended into claws as well as his teeth going into fangs.

He walked over to a keg and poured himself a drink in a red beer cup.

He finished his drink and walked out to the backyard which was packed with people jumping into the pool with nothing but their underwear some decided that that was too much clothing. Inuyasha was close to the edge of the pool when someone tripped and ran into him which sent him flying into the water.

Inuyasha swam up to the surface splashing and automatically thought that it was Kouga until he brushed away his bangs from his eyes and saw that amber eyed raven haired girl who he keeps running into.

“Not you again! Now what was that for!” Inuyasha yelled.

“I didn't mean to do it I tripped!” Kagome yelled back.

Sango came out when she heard all the commotion coming from her friend.

As Sango came out a couple demons were playing football and one of them bumped into Sango sending Sango to bump into Kagome which ultimately sent Kagome into the water right next to Inuyasha.

Inuyasha couldn't help, but laugh as Kagome emerged out of the water coughing and cursing.

“Pay back is a bitch huh.” Inuyasha said.

“Shut up.” Kagome splashed Inuyasha.

Soon the two were fighting using nothing but water.

“It looks like they are actually enjoying themselves.” Miroku said to Sango.

“Yeah they do look kind of cute together don't they.”

“Sango can I ask you something?”

“Miroku I am not going to sleep with you.”

“Shit I need to work on not being predictable.”

“Yes you do.”

“Oh my god am I actually having fun with a demon! I'm probably just on the verge of drunkenness. Wait is drunkenness a word….yup I'm drunk.” Kagome thought to herself.

The fun died when another person jumped into the pool and came up behind Kagome grabbing her waist. Inuyasha began to growl and Kagome whipped around to see the wolf demon leader behind her.

“Let go of me!” Kagome yelled.

“It's fate don't you see you are suppose to be my mate.” Kouga said kissing her neck.

Kagome pushed Kouga away.

“Come on now. Don't act like you don't want me just cause the half breed is here.” Kouga said grabbing hold of her again.

Kagome struggled to get him to let go but nothing she did was working she tried to bite him, but all that did was just make his grip on her tighten.

“Let go of me Kouga!” Kagome screamed.

“But I don't want to.”

“You heard her let her go!” Inuyasha jumped in.

“What the hell are you going to do about it Inuyasha kill me?”

That is when all the raged came to a boiling point and Inuyasha jumped at Kouga.

The demon and half demon then splashed around attacking each other. Kouga got Inuyasha by the collar and through him to the other end of the pool making him hit the wall. By then there was a crowd surrounding them shouting.

Inuyasha got up and ran at Kouga taking his head and dunking him under the water attempting to drown him. Kouga then retaliated and punched Inuyasha making blood drip out of the side of Inuyashas' mouth. Kouga had the upper hand once he picked up Inuyasha over his head(wrestling style) and used all of his weight pushing Inuyasha to the bottom of the pool. Kouga held him there.

“Kouga stop it!” Kagome screamed.

“I cant believe that I'm actually caring that Kouga is hurting that half demon!” Kagome thought.

Kouga ignored Kagome Sango and Miroku stood stunned at what was going on.

Kagome then went over to Kouga and tried herself to get him off. Kouga then picked her up with one hand and threw her. Kagome flew through the air and hit a tree which made her unconscious. Inuyasha took his claws and striked Kouga. Red water started to surround them and Kouga let go of Inuyasha. Inuyasha then gave up on Kouga and ran over to Kagome.

“Hey you wake up.” Inuyasha said bending down and lifted Kagome up tapping the side of her cheek.

Kagomes' eyes flew open and she focused in on Inuyasha and saw his ears. She noticed them before, but she didn't realize how fuzzy and cute they were. She then reached up and poked one of them making the ear twitch.

“Hey Inuyasha do you think this over! Step away from my mate!” Kouga yelled getting out of the water blood still dripped, but Kouga didn't pay much attention to his wound.

“You are the one who made this girl fly into a tree!” Inuyasha said helping Kagome up.

Sango and Miroku came over to Kagome and took her from Inuyasha and guided her to Hachis' couch.

“Don't think this is over! Cause its not by a long shot!” Kouga said as he and some of his pack fled the scene. Inuyasha went into the house and saw Kagome sitting applying an ice packet to her head. Kagome glanced over and saw Inuyasha entering the room.

“Hey do you feel ok?” Inuyasha asked sitting down next to her.

“I feel fine so Mr. Hanyou what is your name. Even though we seem to be bumping into each other I never caught it.”

“It's Inuyasha.”

“Hello Inuyasha I'm Kagome.” Kagome rested the ice pack on the coffee table in front of her and turned towards Inuyasha smiling.

Hachi came into the room with a worried look on his face.

“What the hell is going on here Kagome are you ok! Who is the stupid demon that decided to fight! Gah if the cops get called I'm screwed!” Hachi said panicking.

“Hachi it is ok the cops won't come.” Right after Miroku said that sirens could be heard outside.

“Spoke to soon! Kagome, Sango we have to leave now! I can't be arrested gah!” Miroku said joining Hachi in panicking.

The police could be heard opening the door and everyone got separated. Kagome in all the havoc found Inuyasha, but couldn't find Sango or Miroku anywhere.

“Inuyasha! Have you seen Sango or Miroku I can't find them?!” Kagome screamed.

“Forget about them we got to leave come on!” Inuyasha pulled at Kagome hand and they both ran over to his bike.

“Hop on!” Inuyasha swung his leg over.

“I've never ridden on a motorcycle before!”

“Just get on!” Inuyasha shouted and Kagome obeyed.

They managed to get to get away without being spotted.

They pulled up to Sangos' house and Inuyasha turned off the bike.

“Thank you I guess I will see you around.” Kagome said getting off and heading to the door.

“Yep see you around.” Inuyasha drove off.

Kagome was relieved when Miroku and Sango pulled up.

“Thank god you guys didn't get arrested!” Kagome said.

“Yeah…but poor Hachi.” Sango replied.

“Don't worry about Hachi he is good at running, besides he has had worse happen to him.” Miroku said.

“I'm just upset that I didn't get to have the rest of my Heineken.” Sango said opening the door letting everyone into the house.

“Don't worry Sango we have alcohol here.”

Miroku went into the kitchen and brought out drinks for everyone. They all sat on the couch drinking and having a good time when a knock came at the door.Kagome walked over and opened it as Miroku and Sango hid their drinks thinking that maybe the police had found them.

“Hi.” Kagome said seeing Inuyasha on the doorstep

“Hey you left this.” Inuyasha said holding her purse.

“Oh thank you. I would have been so screwed if you hadn't brought it back.”

“Would you like to come in?” Kagome said opening the door wider.

“Uh…I got to go.” Inuyasha ran over to his bike and drove away.

“Well that was nice…I wonder what his problem is?” Kagome said closing the door then walked over to her friends and put the purse on the table.

“Inuyasha what is wrong with you! You could've gone into her house!” Inuyasha thought opening his apartment.

When he walked in the place was a mess the cabinets were opened and everything was knocked over and ransacked.

“Fuck! Myoga!” Inuyasha yelled running through the rooms trying to find Myoga.

It was no use Myoga was no were to be seen Inuyasha sat on a pile of cloths when he heard Myogas' voice.

“Inuyasha!”

“Myoga?” Inuyasha turned his head, but couldn't see him anywhere.

“Down here you imbecile!” Inuyasha looked down and saw Myoga in his flea form sitting next to him.

“Who did this?”

“Oh you know one of the many demons after Sesshoumaru title as underground lord. The usual.” Myoga said returning to his human form.

“Fuck I knew that Sesshoumaru coming back wasn't good. Why did they look for him here?”

“Beats me. How was the party?”

“Got into a fight with Kouga found that girl and the party got busted. Don't worry I was out of there before the police searched the house.

“Good boy.” Myoga said patting his head.

“The one thing I still don't understand is that whole Sesshoumaru and Kikyo thing.” Inuyasha said.

“Who knows, why don't you go try and find her?”

“Find Kikyo please she got herself into this mess and is dragging me into it, plus Naraku pretty much blames this all on me.”

Inuyasha began to pick up the house with Myoga. Inuyasha picked up mostly the important things like the TV and things of that sort, but many clothes remained on the floor. Inuyasha went into the kitchen and made himself a sandwich after realizing he hadn't had anything to eat all day.

“Myoga what should I do?”

“I don't know. Oh that no good brother of yours making problems for everyone!”

The door flew open and who should walk in, but dear old Sesshoumaru and his assistant Jaken.

“Hello Myoga, Inuyasha have you thought about helping me?”

“The answer is no Sesshoumaru. I can't.”

“Hmm…I suppose I should've known better then to ask for help from a little inuhanyou like you.” Sesshoumaru took a seat at the table on the opposite end from Inuyasha.

“Sesshoumaru reverse psychology hasn't worked on me since we were kids.”

“I see you have better things to do then to help your only brother. Just tell me where to find Kikyo.”

“I don't know she ran out now Naraku is pissed.”

“Naraku.” Sesshoumaru said with a colder voice than usual and got up.

“I'll stay in touch Inuyasha. Come Jaken!”

“Yes Lord Sesshoumaru!”

“What was that all about?”

“I don't know Myoga, but I think Naraku has his dirty little fingers in it.”

The next morning Kagome woke up on the couch and saw Sango and Miroku hugging in their sleep on the floor. Kagome got up and heard her phone ringing.

“Hello.”

“Hi dear you need to come home.”

“Not yet that demon is still out there.”

“It's not that the hospital called Grandpa died the wound was infected and took too much out of Grandpa.”

Tears fell as she talked to her mother.

“I won't come home not until I find the son of a bitch who killed him.”

Sango woke up and looked over to see Miroku holding her for some reason she didn't really mind and was about to go back to sleep when she saw Kagome crying.

“What's wrong Kagome?”

“My grandpa died.”

Sango got up and hugged her friend and tried consoling her. Miroku soon woke up and joined the effort. Kagome started to calm down and kept most of her pain inside.

“Oh shit!” Sango yelled and tried to find her keys.

“Shit what?” Miroku asked.

“I have to go pick up Kohaku from camp.”

Right as Sango said that the door opened and showed a little boy with medium length black hair.

“Sango you did it again.” Her brother said.

“I'm sorry I was just about to go get you I swear!”

“Haha its ok sis I am just messing.”

“Oh Kohaku, Kagome is going to stay with us for awhile.”

“Ok can Sota come stay with us too?”

“No.”

“But Kagome is.”

“Kohaku it is a long story. Now go and start unpacking.” His sister instructed.

Miroku went home and the girls went and got changed. Kagome for most of the day locked herself in her room crying over her grandfather's death and how she was going to avenge him.

“Kagome?” Kohaku knocked on her door.

“Yes.” Kagome wiped the tears from her face and let Kohaku in.

“What's wrong I heard you crying?”

“I'm fine it's just my grandfather was attacked by a demon a couple days ago and now he is dead.”

“Its ok Sango and I lost our family to demons too. We'll help you kill that stupid demon.”

“Thanks Kohaku it means a lot to hear you say that.” Kagome said hugging him.

“Knock, knock.” Sango said in the background.

“Hey Sango.” Kagome said.

“Sorry now might be a bad time, but there is commotion down town and we need to go take care of it.” Sango said.

They went downtown and Kagome was first out of the car. Kagome looked at the demon and realized it was the demon who killed her grandfather. Pent up rage poured out of her and she went after it without even thinking. Her adrenaline was sky rocketing the only thing that she could think about was to kill him. To kill the dog demon. She didn't even notice the other demon it was fighting.

Kagome took out her bow and arrow and pointed it at the demon. The dog demon sensed her presence and moved out of the way. The other demon had long black hair and almost lifeless eyes. Kagome lunged at the dog demon, but again he was too quick for her.

“Stay out of this Miko this is between demons.” The dog demon said.

“I don't give a shit! You killed my grandpa so now I kill you!”

While Kagome tried killing the dog demon Kohaku pulled Sango aside.

“Sango it's him…” Kohaku frantically said.

“Who Kohaku?”

“Naraku! The demon who killed our family!”

“No! It can not be!”

Sango took out her Hiraikotsu (her boomerang) and flung it at the dark haired demon.

The demon vanished and reappeared on top of a building.

Kagome was busy fighting the dog demon. She was almost out of purifying arrows so she took out a knife and jumped on him and tried to stab the knife into his neck. The demon threw her off and took out his sword. Kagome didn't back off instead she continued her attack. The dog demon waved his sword down and it sliced Kagome across the chest. Not willing to give up she took her last arrow and shot it the arrow hit him in the shoulder, but didn't have much of an affect he just pulled it out like it was nothing but a sliver. Kagome knew she was loosing lots of blood and grew dizzy, but she was still determined to fight.

She held tight to the knife with one hand as the other covered her wound. She again plunged at him, but then lights went out and Kagome could only see black.

“Kagome!” Sango yelled not seeing that Naraku was right behind and threw a chair at her knocking Sango down.

Kohaku went to his sister aid and felt a sharp sensation go right into his back.

“Sango…” Kohaku managed to say before falling on the cold concrete.

“KOHAKU!” Sango screamed, but couldn't get up to help her brother.

Kagome was motionless on the ground the rain started to beat harder she heard her friends around her, but she couldn't move nor speak, She was left in a half dead state.

That's when she heard his voice, “Sesshoumaru! What did you do to Kagome! You bastard!”

So my goal is to update the chapters as fast as possible. I hope you are enjoying the story so far. This is my first fan fiction that I've written in a long time so I'm a bit rusty.
