Chapter 3:TANAKA

Inuyasha moved through out the hut. Looking for Sesshomaru's home was harder then Inuyasha thought it would be. It had now officially been 12 days since Kagome's capture. And this pacing is what he seemed to be doing a lot of recently.

 

Truth was he hadn't held a place in his heart for Kagome. Well, no, that's a lie. He held friendship on his shoulder. Kagome had been his friend. His shoulder to cry on if she needed it, in more. But Kagome hadn't been Kikyo.

 

In yet, he still fell in love with her.

 

To bad he hadn't figured it out until Sesshomaru took her.

 

Apparently Inuyasha wasn't to good with keeping his loved ones. His parents; dead. Kikyo; Dead. And now Kagome; in the arms of his most hated enemy…his brother.

 

His brother. The man who always took what was his. He took his home. His title. He's now trying to take his sword. The only thing left to remind him of his father.

 

Kagome.

 

He took Kagome.

 

The realization just now hitting him.

 

Hard.

 

Inuyasha grinned. Payback…yes. Payback would be sweet.

Tanaka watched her with great interest. She hadn't been here long. Maybe 2 weeks or so. But her being here couldn't have been at the worst possible time.

 

`She does nothing but sleep. Don't blame this on her.' A voice said popping into his head. But another stopped him. `Just kill her. Master would be proud. Just look at her sleep. You could snap her neck now, and she'll never feel it.'

 

He leaned over the girl, arms over his head.

 

The girl was a problem. War was coming and his Master should be thinking of it.

 

Instead he had been thinking of her.

 

And it would end.

 

Obviously she had some spell on him. Now it was time to break it.

 

His arms lowered down to her head. But a voice pounding in his ears stopped his actions.

 

“What.Are.You.Doing?”

 

Master.

 

Tanaka turned around sharply. His Master did not look happy.

 

Then again, when did he?

 

“I repeat…What.ARE.you.DOING?”

 

Tanaka stuttered. “Master Sesshomaru! I…I…I wasn't doing anything!”

 

Sesshomaru's eye twitched. He hated being lied to. “You dare lie to This Sesshomaru?

 

Tanaka backed away. “N-No. I…I mean.”

 

Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes.

 

“Guards.” He whispered, almost to low for anyone to hear. But 2 guards walked in not even a second later. Grins on their other wise hard faces.

 

Swords in hand they approached Tanaka. “No! NO! Please don't do this over her Master Sesshomaru!” He screamed as they dragged him out of the room. “Please! I'm your second in command! What will you do about the war if you don't have me?!”

 

Sesshomaru smirked. “Ill deal Tanaka. Ill deal.”

 

Turning his back to him he walked back to his chambers and approached the girl lying in the bed.

 

“Your getting to be more trouble then I thought.”

 

Sesshomaru kneeled down and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

 

“But you're worth that and more…My Kagome.”
