"Kagome...," In one swift, furious move Inuyasha turned and ripped the offending snake youkai in two. His claws dripping red he turned back to her. "What the hell were you thinking?"
His voice was low, dangerously calm. Those gorgeous golden eyes flashed red. "How could you be so damn stupid?"
"Inuyasha, I..." His ears flicked back.
"You could've permanently damaged your soul bitch! You could've died, leaving yourself vulnerable like that during a spell!"
Kagome hung her head, ashamed. Yes, she knew better than that.. and a tear slipped down her cheek.
"I...I just wanted to give you Kikyo..."
Inuyasha knelt down beside where she had ducked to avoid the snake. He was still breathing hard. "What?"
The coloured light from a gorgeous evening sunset danced beautifully on his silver hair.
"I thought I could bring Kikyo back... I just wanted to make you happy."
Inuyasha stared in disbelief. Then, exercising his great talent for stating the obvious; "But, that would have killed you. " Kagome let out a dry laugh.
"And what difference would that have made, hmmn? Naraku's gone, you have the jewel, and the well is sealed. What point is there in me staying alive?"
Shaking his head angrily Inuyasha grabbed her shoulder. "Baka bitch." He pulled her to him and kissed her hard. Kagome squeaked in surprise. The hanyou growled into her mouth.
"I chose you a long time ago, Kagome. And you're crazy if you think I'm gonna let you go without a fight, bitch."
Now she was sure it was a dream. Not her Inuyasha.
He growled again, deepening the kiss. His velvety tongue tasted her full pink lips. Obediently, Kagome opened her mouth to him. The sounds coming from Inuyasha were now encouraging, rumbling purrs of satisfaction. One arm went to the girl's waist, his claws smearing snake blood on her already ruined pink-and-white kimono.
Inuyasha broke to nuzzle her neck gently before gathering her in his arms and making one clean leap into the air.
It all seemed to pass in a kind of daze for Kagome. She felt the soft breeze in her hair as Inuyasha carried her. Felt the first drops of rain and the chill of the fast approaching storm. Funny, there had been so sign of any storm today... It had been a clear and warm and extrememly beautiful day in Feudal Japan. But you would never have guessed that now...
Inuyasha set her down. She felt soft furs under her fingers. Felt the cold floor of the cave under her feet, and the dampness of her clothes on her skin.
She felt all this, but she didn't really. She felt and noticed as if through someone else's eyes...dreaming...
They were in a cave. There was a warm fire.. and she could hear the rain pounding outside.
Gentle hands removed her kimono. Leaving her in her white, loose fitting robes. Curiously she watched as fingers larger than her own washed the blood and dirt from her.
Absently she reached out to touch them. They didn't make any sense to her hazy mind. They were so beautiful, and she loved them. But they killed... she thought sadly. Lethal weapons... They shouldn't have to be so dangerous...
Somewhere in the back of her mind Kagome realized she was slightly delirious. Probably an effect of trying that soul binding spell before she was ready, her miko powers were exhausted.
Golden eyes. also beautiful.
Puppy ears. So adorable! Could she touch them? yes! they were so soft...
A pointed nose. That picked up any scent.. very sensitive. It didn't like her rose petal perfume, she remembered.
Kagome's fingers traced Inuyasha's features lightly until she came to his lips. Her thumb brushed over them softly.
Inuyasha held still, allowing her this exploration. He smiled at the wonder sparkling in her chocolate eyes. Kagome blinked at the shift under her thumb. Curious, our young miko moved her hand to the side and gently brushed her lips against his.
Softly, the girl lay back on the deep pile of furs. Pulling the dog demon with her. Inuyasha wasn't wearing a shirt, she felt the warmth of his bare skin through her light, silky robe.
She felt the muscles of his chest flex as he adjusted his position on top of her, so as not to crush her.
She felt herself break their kiss to gasp for air.... she felt Inuyasha's hot breath on her shoulder as he kissed and nuzzled her slender neck.
She felt Inuyasha's soft hair in her hand as she ran her fingers through it. Felt a gentle, but firm grasp at her hip. Kagome bent one knee up. She felt the cool night air on her skin and heard the soft rustling of cloth falling falling prey to claws.
She was aware of a burning need. A feeling that settled into the pit of her stomach... causing her to nuzzle her hanyou with more urgency. There was something hot on her breast. She felt Inuyasha take it into his mouth, and hissed. The miko felt a soft mewl pass her lips as a fang scraped lightly, and careful fingers worked the neglected twin. She felt warmth pressed to her bare stomach. Inuyasha's legs tangled with her own. She felt a heat and desire. Now completely awakened, she knew what she wanted.
Her breathing became laboured, and Kagome began to shift restlessy.
"shh..." he tried to hold her still, calm. But only succeeded in getting her more worked up.
"please..." her panting breath teased his sensitive puppy ears, and he flicked them back. He knew what she was pleading for.
"inuyasha..." She wimpered and bucked her hips against him. He shifted his wieght to a more comfortable position.
"shh... relax..." She felt him move inside her. Kagome took a shaky breath. She felt a momentary flash of pain and cried out. She felt the soft comfort of her mate as he held her. She tried to follow his advice.
She felt shocks and jolts of pleasure. Pure happiness...
She felt mounting excitement. A knot in her stomach sprung loose, and all the sensations playing over her became too much.
She felt, vaguely, Inuyasha's fangs in her shoulder. Marking her at the moment when the pain of the bite would go un noticed.
Her mate's arms around her. His chest pressed to her back as he slept. She felt contentment and satisfaction.
Kagome smiled. Sure she would miss her mom & Sota, but she had her own family now. Before she joined her hanyou in sleep, she wished her little Shippo a sweet dream.
